“The complete worst service I have ever seen at any hotel/motel establishment. Completely mind blown. Owner is very rude and not nice to women! Would NOT recommend for anywhere to stay in the beach ! My friend stopped by the establishment (who had already paid for a room!) to run in quickly, I was going to use the washroom, was approached abrasively by the owner who was smoking on the property at the same time. I needed to use the rest room then we were told to leave, completely avoidable and unnecessary confrontation. Felt attacked and have never been there before, VERY unprofessional and uncomfortable. 2 star rating motel is complimentary but makes sense now, very disturbing attitude.”

“While visiting Kingston during Christmas time, we came across this beautiful little inn, called them to see if they were OK with a service dog, and they were!! Upon our check-in we drove up to our room not expecting anything extraordinary, Only to enter the room and have the most precious gesture of a dog bed laying on the floor for my pooch, a little mat with food and water dishes cleaned and ready. And the table 🥰 oh bless their heart a little cookie wrapped with a bow for our boy! The room is just perfect for what we need, at every turn or opening a drawer we find "something" toaster tucked away with a kettle, actual ceramic mugs for the coffee they provide, plates and cutlery, a fridge and a microwave! And to top it all a fresh carnation was placed on the bathroom sink! Well done Green Acres Inn you have won our service when we visit from #southwestern Ontario!”

“The kitchen was really great came stocked with all the basics. The freezer makes its own ice. The staff were always friendly and helpful. The breakfast selection was decent. The eggs my least favourite but I would jazz them up myself. The pull out bed not comfy and old style with the metal hinges sticking out. I had to put pillows on them so my child didn’t hurt themself. The hot tub isn’t in service which was disappointing because I wasn’t told about this prior to my check in. My child loved the pool, although no showers at the pool. This is a great place to stay if you want to make your own meals, and have the convenience of doing laundry. Lots of great food options in the area.”

“Had a wonderful stay at InnBuffalo. Such an incredibly kept piece of history. The hospitality of Joe and the pleasant conversations really sweetened our stay. The only surprises were pleasant ones. We stayed at the Frederick Law Olmsted, which had 2 beds, modern heating and even heated bathroom floors! We learned the latter was a feature nearly from the inception of the house...still is! A very safe area, and just a step away from the walkable Elmwood Village, plenty of restaurants and small shops to admire. Most certainly planning to return and experience this wonderful place once again. Highly recommend if you are travelling to the area.”

“Location of the hotel is superb as right in the middle of everything and easy walking distance to restaurants, shops, entertainment and the falls. Hotel rooms were spacious, comfortable beds and the shower was good. However the hotel is very dated and could do with a modern upgrade. We did have an unfortunate issue with a member of staff providing us with incorrect local bus information and this resulted in us purchasing the wrong tickets and loosing $30, plus this also resulted in us wasting time trying to get to Niagara on the Lake which we didn't manage to do in the end, which was a shame.”
