I appreciate the positive experience he provided to a newbie car buyer like myself. However, it's a sad and tired experience with the financial services manager, and later also involved sale manager. I‘m not blaming anyone here but I do feel bad and exhausted, after all the time and efforts spent on these conversations, I still got ‘surprise’ on the day of picking up car reviewing the contract. I hope to share 2 suggestions with other newbie car buyers before you get into these conversations: 1. Warranty/Service Details: It's beneficial for newbie car buyers to do their own research before engaging in the discussion and signing any paper, for the reason that there are a lot of details are important, long conversations with unfamiliar terms can be overwhelming, and the finance service manager may not have the time/patience to thoroughly go through the details of the warranty and service plans being offered. 2. Verbal Agreement: Verbal agreement might have a gap between what buyers perceive they are paying/getting and the actual price they are paying/rebate in the future. So it's crucial for buyers to carefully review and verify terms before making any commitments. Unfortunately, I encountered challenges during the details discussions through verbal communication. While attempting to address my inquiries through written emails, I was redirected to phone calls for clarifications. Consequently, upon reviewing the contract with excitement as I prepared to pick up my car, I discovered gap between what I thought we have agreed over the phone and what was documented in the contract. And I was told it’s too late to make any amendment on the warranty part of the contract, even though I’m willing to delay my pick up date. I took this experience as a lesson and every lesson comes with a price.”

“UPDATE: Oh no Derek, you have it all wrong. We are not upset and we are not wanting to come back to your dealership, we are warning customers not to take their vehicles to your dealership because your techs are not professional or skilled. You don't even bother to talk to your customers to find out why they are upset. Wouldn't you be upset if you have to travel 35km one way 3 times and nothing was done to their vehicle?! I have added pics to show the bolts not done up and the live wire waving around under the hood that could have caused a fire. Your Techs put our lives in danger. But no, we shouldn't be upset, right?! We do recommend Mike Yarek in Paris (isn't that where your good mechanics end up after they leave your dealership). I use to recommend this dealership to everyone I knew but because of my recent experiences, I do not want to even give them 1 star. A little professionalism from the Techs and the Owner would go along way but unfortunately this dealership lacks that. We were loyal customers of Demeyeres for years. We kept going back because of the Service manager. He always treated us right. Even though they cannot seem to keep good Techs. We have tolerated the numerous mistakes, neglect and unprofessionalism of the techs. From bolts not being tightened back up after a service job, to the crank case filter cover not tightened back on properly, to us wasting numerous trips to Simcoe and being told they didn't do our service work that was scheduled in because they didn't have time or the tech didn't show up, a tech turned out the engine light because they couldnt figure out the vehicles issue, putting in wrong parts, falsifying and putting in used refurbished replacement parts, and the Techs are just down right rude and unprofessional. Recently, we have had issues with our 1 truck and the Techs neglected to put in a ticket to Chryler Canada. The Techs couldn't figure the issue out, so they threw their arms up and refuse to work on our vehicles. Now we have to start from square one somewhere else.”

“Wow, what can I say about this place? The hosts are extremely friendly and welcoming. We stayed here during a bike packing trip and they offered us their hose and even a rag to wash our bikes upon arriving. Check in was smooth and straightforward. The room was already the perfect temperature when we arrived and we had a thermostat for the room if needed. The room was very comfortable and clean. Although we didn't get a chance to use the pool, it was open and looked really nice. We'll be coming back if we're in the area again!”
