“This place is a gem. We ski frequently at Calabogie Peaks and we took our family of 4 here for the weekend. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Great location, great views, great pool and amenities, a huge playroom for the kids. Our suite was perfect for having the 4 year old and 2 year old sleep downstairs while mom and dad hung out upstairs at night. Highly recommended.”

“My wife and I went on a six day autumn road trip staying at three inns/resorts for two nights at each. We had two dinners and two breakfasts during our stays at each establishment. In all cases the environment was pleasant (lakeside or riverside) and we had rooms with a view. The restaurants were all excellent. Heather Lodge was our last stop and we both agreed that it was the best of the three by a significant margin. The location was great, the room was spotlessly clean, well equipped and nicely decorated. The highlight at Heather Lodge though is the restaurant. The dinner menu changes daily and everything we had for both breakfast and dinner was excellent. The staff were all helpful and friendly and it appeared that they enjoyed working there. The icing on the cake for Heather Lodge, was that not only was it the best of the three places we stayed at, but it also offered the best value.”

“We got married in Norland in September and needed a place for all of our guests from out of town to stay. Darren and his team hosted close to 60 of our friends and family. The property provided a great backdrop for some beautiful wedding photos, as well as an opportunity for family from all across the country to come together and celebrate our special day. A very very special thank you to Chef Peter Ilias. 3 weeks before our wedding our original caterer bailed on us. Peter stepped in on short notice and saved the day with some mouth watering prime rib. Thank you so much to everyone at Miners Bay Lodge for memories that will last a lifetime!”

“All around this was an incredible stay. From start to finish, we had an exceptional time. The staff were all lovely, and there were many fun complimentary activities on site. The breakfast buffet was absolutely delicious, and they changed it up every day with new options. The cabins were extremely cozy and cute. We stayed in the woodpecker lodge and found it to be very clean and welcoming. Everything about our stay was perfect. We’ll definitely be coming back! I’d love to see how it looks in the summer.”
