“Our first time tonight. Ordered a Hawaiian burger/sweet potato fries, a Hamont burger/potato fries and soft drinks. We sat down and were served our food in very good time. Everything was delicious in the way you’d hoped it would be.The restaurant is smallish but very nice and very clean. Most people take their food out, but we were happy to sit to eat. Only drawback was the chilly air that came in when the door was opened. We will definitely be back. Thank you!”

“Great experience after a camping and fishing excursion. Nice brewery with an outdoor patio and large covered tent for the colder months. My friends and I ordered a round of Stein (equivalent of 3 tall cans) glasses with Home in the Wall beers. There is a $15 entry fee per person into the tent, and includes live music. To go with our drinks my friends chose the Dirty Bird sandwich, and I opted for the Reuben sandwich. Hands down the Reuben is the way to go. The Reuben is a heavier sandwich, but much more satisfying to go with the beer. The brewery does not offer tours, but the brewery is situated along a river with nice views. My friends and I also grabbed some beers to go. There are many variations to choose from in tall can form. This location is a popular spot and can fill up quickly. We were lucky and able to snag a table walk-in. Overall it was a good experience and would return. I also like the Stein glasses that you get to keep.”

“Amazing service, and great food! We were served promptly and with great recommendations. Got the most amazing pint of Guinness to start. The fish and chips (and onion rings) were SO crispy and delicious!! Better than what we ate in London just a year ago. Gigantic portions, and delicious sauces. Also had deep fried pickles and deep fried mars bar, which were amazing. We are also big fans of their ice cream. Can't wait to return!”

“Quite underwhelming. Our initial server first tried to seat us at the same table as 2 other people (intended for 4 ppl), which was bizarre as we did not know the people, and they were not even asked ahead of time if it would be alright. The server just wandered us over, said "how about here?" with a smile that said they knew it would be awkward, upon which we turned it down - for a table which was totally free, 5 steps away, in the process of being cleaned. After this, things went smoothly - we sat on the patio, where there was a menu written in chalk on the pillars outside. As this was our first time here, we had no idea, and were not pointed to this unofficial menu at all by our server. We would've probably got an appetizer from there if we saw it, but neither of us were disappointed after the fact, as the food wasn't so good. It tastes fine while you eat it, and it's presented kinda well, but we both had stomach aches after the fact. Probably their ingredients aren't the highest quality - and for the price, I could go anywhere else in Guelph, pay the same amount, and get great food and great service. In any case, it wasn't horrible. Would give 2.5 stars if I could. We got the duck stroganoff and the steak and mushroom pie. The best part of the restaurant was the location - you're surrounded by green on the patio.”

“Schnitzel for breakfast is always a great option. It was tender and nicely breaded. Breakfast is ok. Nice having the grilled veggie side option. Service could be better but I do understand we went at a busier time. It would be worth going back for their apple pie. The pie would've been even better if warmed up but that option was not offered. It was taken directly from the fridge and served on the plate. They were so busy I didn't bother asking.”

“We stopped by the red house for dinner and had the arugula and goat cheese salad, the house burger and the veggie lasagna. The salad was pretty good. The combo of spicy arugula with goat cheese and a sweet praline topping is hard to get wrong. The salad is available in two sizes - the side size and a meal size. We got the meal size which is not going to fill most people up. However the quality is decent. The house burger was good but a tad on the salty side for me. The bun is excellent and soft. The stand out for me were the fries. They seemed fresh cut and crispy, with the skins on. The basil aioli is special. The only miss for me.is that the entire meal is on the salty side, which is alright for a pub meal with alcoholic drinks. The veggie lasagna was on the drier side, which didn't require the two large pieces of bread with it. The lasagna was also not reheated properly all the way through which was disappointing. Overall, we were pretty hungry and the meals were fine. I remember the food experience being a lot better in the past.”

“glad I stopped here... one of those hidden gems that can easily be overlooked. .. Grabbed a six once Cheeseburger with Fries and Rings.... Burger is a true burger..old school..with their own unique sauce.. tasty..very juicy.. and fresh..tastes like a real burger.. the fries were good and the rings were perfect...not greasy..but hot with the perfeft crunch to them.. price was maybe a little higher than expected but portion soze made it worthwhile.. will definitely stop here again”

“I called to ask about seating and payment method and the cashier could barley understand English 😣 . Chili cheese dog , the chilli was super dry , the hotdog was good, but they should definitely assemble it. A little chilly first then the hotdogs and a little more on top.. the state they have cheddar but really, it’s processed “fake” cheese 🤢 tasted weird in the chili dog . The hamburgers also tasted strange like cheap meat. Fries and onion rings were delicious 🤩 next time I’ll try the fried fish .”

The sauce was tasty and the condiments were fresh.When I called they informed me that the pizza will be ready in 40 minutes, and when I arrived they took the pizza right out of the oven. “This is probably the best pizza in Drayton. It's been a while since I've been back here and unfortunately tonight was a little bit disappointing. I ordered my pizza ahead of time like I normally do and they told me about 25 minutes until it was ready, I went to the store about 20 minutes in and expected 5 minutes in line. I spent almost 20 minutes in line waiting just to pick up my pizza. There was all kinds of people in front of me ordering stuff and nobody asking if somebody was just there to pick up. Some constructive criticism: Please make a second checkout for unpaid pickups, not just paid. Not all of us feel comfortable giving out our credit card number over the phone.”

“We ordered a the double patty burger meal and a Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich. The burger was about average and a little on the messy side but the chicken sandwich was great. The meat was large and the flavour was good. I’d recommend ordering the highest heat level as medium wasn’t spicy. The fries were also great. I’d definitely get the hot chicken sandwich and fries again.”

“Pretty good! I liked the hot and honey chicken sandwich, juicy and flavourful. The poutine was really good, probably the best I’ve had so far in the region, big fan of the gravy. The salted caramel shake was heavenly. No dine in, which is really inconvenient and something to be aware of before you visit. Also it took 35 minutes before my mobile order was ready? The service is pretty quick if you order in person so I’d recommend that over mobile order”
