“We ordered pizza from their website on New Year’s Eve for 6 PM delivery. The pizza showed up exactly at six, hot and ready to go. Can’t comment too much on the atmosphere of the location, but I can say that these people make some super delicious pizza. It was one of the fresher pizzas I had ever had, with the ingredients smell like they had literally just been made to be added to the pizza. The delivery driver was super nice, not pushy at all, and had a great conversation with him. Ended up giving him a great tip. We got deal number five, which was two medium pizzas, a pound of wings, garlic, bread, potato wedges, all for $34.99. Would highly recommend the spot for pizza night with your family.”

“Overall our visit was good. The staff were fantastic. Attentive, helpful, and friendly, everything you would want at a restaurant. We were a large group too, they handled it really well. The food was good, everyone enjoyed the flavour, it came hot and at the same time. My only complaint was that my dish, Gnocchi was under cooked, some were nearly raw dough which was disappointing. But I attributed that to our larger group and the kitchen staff trying to get everything cooked at the same time. I will try them again and adjust my rating based on follow up visits.”

“What an absolute gem, hole in the wall, gotta try it of a Restaurant Bistro and Bar. Friendly staff, Emma was our waitress and she helped us with our orders. She was friendly and fully dedicated to Bella Bistro's impeccable quality in service and food. The fact that the restaurant also kept everyone working during COVID, proves the importance of keeping a great workers relationship and happiness with the business. The food didn't take long to cook, started off with a nice B52 coffee, being an Italian special Bistro, coffee is very important and it was perfect. Ordered porc shirt rib starter and a homemade bred plate with homemade butter. As well as a plate of eggplant salad. All was very fresh, hot and delicious. As for the main course, I had the beef short rib with potatoes and a red sauce, melt in your mouth meats and the sauce was rich and a hint of sweet. We've also ordered a quarter lemon chicken, that sits on potatoes and covered with a cheese base white sauce. All in all, an absolute pleasure of a soirée. Be mindful, the plates and meals are no slouch either, large portions on the entrées and main course meals. We didn't have enough space left for cakes....and there's so many choices for desserts. I would recommend Bella Bistro for everyone, would also recommend you'd need to reserve ahead to ensure your seating, it gets very busy. Parking is fairly large, but be mindful that you'll lose some space during winter. Enjoy a night out at Bella Bistro.”

(And I’m not related nor an employee), just a regular, steady and faithful customer. Like we order every week on a regular basis, because we do live in the neighbourhood. Wide assortment of sauces to choose from, and many other things on the menu also. The pizza is decent, and on the weekends it’s insanely busy. Owner and staff are very friendly, and grateful for your business. The breading on their wings are unique, perfectly fried every time. The chicken fingers are good too, as are the sandwiches and salads. Many choices of beverages too. Take-Out or delivery available. Been ordering here for years now. “My spouse and I went to this Boston pizza for the first time, and we did not know what to expect, however everything was a 10/10. The fish bowl was enough for two people to share, as well as being the perfect mixture of alcohol/cocktail, which lasted us the entire meal. The spinach dip was also something different from any other restaurant we have visited, but so well executed, and all the flavours blended well. The pizzas were 10/10 as well, one was the Royal Hawaiian and the other was perogie and bacon, it was almost like loaded potato toppings on a pizza. The service was excellent and we will definitely be returning when we visit midland again. !”

“So good! I really loved my burger that I didn’t take a picture but luckily I brought one home for my husband so I got that before he eat it! Very good fries and burger, my mom for the shrimp roll sandwich which she liked, and my mother-in-law got the pizza which she also enjoyed. I also tried the Midtown Lager brewed in house. Their 12-3 pm lunch special, priced at $20 for a small pizza and a glass of wine, was truly a gem. Opting for the margarita pizza, I was delighted by the exceptional texture of the pizza bread. While enjoyable, a touch more salt would have heightened the overall taste harmony and made the pizza more flavourful. Though, the Funghi pizza my friend had was flavourful and a true winner. The short ribs delivered on taste, although they didn't leave me feeling particularly full. To ensure satisfaction, I'd recommend having a light breakfast before visiting. Overall, I loved my experience and will definitely be returning!”

“I posted a review a few months ago and wanted to post another review, but I couldn't submit a new review without deleting my old one, so I deleted it and included it below. Updated Review: I placed an order 45 minutes before pick up, but when I got to the store on time, my pizza wasn't even in the oven. I waited for 10 minutes, but had to leave because I needed to be elsewhere. The response from the owner was that it was busy. It was, and good for them. The pizza is very good, so I knew Friday night would be busy, but that's why I ordered 45 mins ahead, and still had to wait. After 2 experiences like this, I'm unlikely to order online again. Previous Review: Been going here for pizza for some time. Great pizza, but I placed a pickup order for 5pm, and I know it's a busy time, but I had to wait another 15 minutes for my pizza. The point of ordering it ahead of time means that it should be ready. As a result, I could not feed my kids in time before they had to participate in activities for the rest of the evening. Disappointed and will consider ordering elsewhere if it's a pickup order.”

“Ill start by saying if youre expecting a typical pizza then do not eat here, but if you want a unique pizza experience then it's a must try. This place used to be Quiznos it still has Quiznos all over it. I miss Quiznos. Ill start with the service, they are very friendly and welcoming. Next ill talk about the price. They are a little more expensive then a typical pizza but there is a reason for that, which I will get to when describing the pizza. After paying i picked up the pizza box and was surprised with how heavy the pizza was. The employee warned me that they do not cut the pizza unless requested. This is because all the toppings will flow out as soon as you cut it. I finally got back home and opened the pizza box. The first thing I noticed is the tomato chunks and sauce on top (yum) and then the crust. The crust lookes nothing like a typical pizza crust. It is very dense and crispy, I assume this is due to the nature of the type of pizza that this is. I cut the medium pizza into 4 big slices and right away you notice the amount of sauce, toppings and cheese. They just overflow. I got the pizza onto my plate carefully and took my first bite. First things you taste is the tanginess of the sauce and the saltiness of everything combined. There is a nice thick layer of cheese in the middle and topping buried within the pizza. The dough or crust is different in taste and texture, personally im not a fan of this style crust but it works for this pizza since a standard crust will get very soggy quick. The pizza just overflow with sauce and cheese. Its quite the experience. I definitely do not think this would be a weekly pizza for me but a treat once or twice a year. Overall it's a pretty decent pizza, but it's not an actual pizza, if that makes any sense. You're paying for a lot of cheese and sauce. This thing probably weighed 5 lb easily. If you are debating on trying this place, go for it I don't think there are many other chicago-style pizzas in Ottawa. It's definitely a must try at least one time. I will add more to this review in time but for now this is just based on the medium deluxe version Chicago deep dish.”
