“My wife and I stayed in a suite with a single king bed. The room was wonderful. Specifically, it was spacious and very clean. The bed was comfortable (not too hard). The layout of the room was nice as we didn't come close to feeling crowded. There's a small kitchen area, sitting area with a couch, and a desk with comfortable office chair. The service was friendly and when we arrived there was a signed card with a goody basket wishing us a happy anniversary. I definitely recommend staying here.”

“This is such a sweet place to stay. This is my first time back in more than 10 years and I must say I was impressed. The mattresses are new and very comfortable. The front desk was super nice! My favorite part is the beautiful creek. The new seating and swings that sit along the back of the hotel, next to the creek, is so peaceful. No noise from the street traffic is a plus. We will definitely go back.”

”Rooms, staff, service were all 5 star! We had a family get-together with folks from all over. Everyone was impressed with the rooms, the cleanliness, and the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff (for ex, Amanda, Ashley, all others). If you are physically fit, the location is walkable to charming shops and restaurants. Nice breakfast is included. Cookies, hot chocolate, coffee were always available. Hotel has indoor pool and fitness room. We loved our stay!”

”Awesome mini vacation and will definitely be back. We were at the front of the red section with only the dune separating us from the beach, so it was a short walk. The park is super clean and maintained. We rode bikes even though somewhat hilly and our big lab enjoyed playing in the ocean and meeting fellow fur people. Be sure to ride over to Beaufort and walk along the waterfront.”

”Our room had 2 beds a small kitchen area with a microwave, a coffee pot, a fridg, plates and silverware. Bring your own filters. I left mine for the next guests. It was an efficiency. There was a table we could use. We had a few roaches come in. Housekeeping came quickly and sprayed. The pool was clean and the indoor hot tub was clean and toasty! It was a great place to stay while we explored towns to make our big move. We did end up buying a lot there. Great people and everything I love, Brunswick Plantation has all I need! Take advantage of the fresh seafood within minutes in Calabash or Little River, SC Beaches are within 20 minutes! Holden beach has pay to park with a QR code to set up a card payment. Its free before 9 am and after 5 pm. Sunset beach and Ocean Isle have free limited parking. Enjoy!”

”We stayed here as a birthday getaway for myself. The location was great. We were able to walk to chuck-e-cheese from the hotel, which was great because we were pulling a 35-foot gooseneck. The hotel staff were very helpful about where to park our vehicle, things we needed for our room, and making sure we felt safe since it is the city! The hotel was beautifully decorated with Christmas decorations, which was such a bonus having a 6 year old. The pool was great, we were able to go in late at night and they even raised the heat and brought us towels. It's a little pricey, but it's worth it for this area. We'll be staying again, that's for sure!! This was a fantastic getaway for us, and the hotel was the cherry on top. 😁”

”The staff at "The Lodge " are incredibly nice. In particular one older gentleman, we were in contact with quite a bit. He is just the type of person needed at the campground. Friendly and helpful. The campground is clean and quiet. You will hear the planes quite often, but you get used to it. Plenty of fun things for children to do. Big games outside, a net of some sort and places to ride their bikes supervised. The shuttle is great to take carowinds. A lot nicer then trying to find a parking space. Take advantage of it for sure! We enjoyed our stay!”

”NOISE ALERT!!! The property and room were beautiful, and the staff was friendly enough... no complaints there. The hot water took a good 5 minutes to come out of the shower, literally. Other than that it was a pretty good stay. But beware of road noise on Friday and Saturday nights. Vehicles with very loud exhausts seem to run circles around the hotel all night. If you're a light sleeper or are noise sensitive, you will have trouble sleeping. It seemed to calm down both nights right at midnight, which makes me think there is a noise ordinance that gets enforced at a certain point. But seriously, it sounds like a race track out there all night. Very frustrating! We stayed in room 623 on December 29 and 30, under initials C.B.”

”Bad experience. We got there quite early, and they sold out of helmets and snowboards 30 min after opening. The only option was to ski without helmets (unless you brought all your own stuff). This is simple business math. Do the math, owners of this place. Figure out what your maximum capacity is for lift tickets, calculate how much equipment you need so that you don’t run out. Voila! And move your ticket and rental sales online, so unwitting tourists who don’t have their own equipment are not waiting in line for 90 minutes only to find out you’re out of everything they need. #dobetter”

”Okay short version. Go here! Longer version. We went here the week after 4th of July. We had an absolute blast. This is the epitome of family fun. They have activities running all throughout the day for the whole family to do together (be sure to put the app on your phone) We were expecting it to be super crowded and wasn’t, we were expecting it to be a little run down and it wasn’t. The place far exceeded every song expectation we had of it. The ice cream was great, the small water park was perfect, the indoor pool was awesome, the staff was incredible. We stayed in the yurts and they were great as well. It was like camping in a 10ft tall huge tent with air conditioning, mini fridge, and microwave. The bath house for the yurts was awesome as well. Very short walk from any of the yurts and you have your own bathroom. You have the only key to it and it’s yours as long as your there. These are brand new bath houses that opened in May of 2023 We loved it and will definitely be going back! Thank you to the staff for such a great stay!”

”We stayed for a weekend. I was running a 5k that was happening at the vineyard so it was super convenient. We stayed in the Maritime Cabin (2 person) and for us it was quite spacious and comfortable. Good heat, parking directly in front of the room, standard amenities (fridge, coffee, hair dryer). No housekeeping, but extra towels were already in the room and anything you needed was available from the front desk at the spa. I had to pop over for extra shampoo one morning & very quickly had what I needed. Nice being on the vineyard. In warmer weather the porch off the cabin would have been perfect for a bottle of wine & relaxing evening. The property has an access trail to the park across the stream for walking. We were also able to enjoy the petting zoo, distillery samples and a flight of wine at the Cork Room bar. Everything on property is an easy walk. If we are ever back in the area we would absolutely stay here again.”

”Cozy place to stay steps from the beach. Rocking chairs on the road side and a fireplace give it a relaxed feeling. The overall inside reminds you of a ski lodge. Rooms are tight but include a desk, microwave, and mini fridge. Walls are thin and you'll hear your neighbors. Maintenance items are a big area where they cut costs with standard bulbs used in specialty lighting and unpainted spackle in the rooms. While most of the staff was fine, the lady with short dark hair at the check out desk shouldn't be handling customers if she is going to give you a dirty look because you pulled her from joking around with the other staff Good price, but I'll try somewhere else the next time I'm here”
