”I LOVE to get a slice of pie from Mario’s. The slice is huge and it’s $6 for my fav, Chicken and bacon. Service is fast and staff is friendly. I appreciate how they have sauces like mayo and hot sauce near the drinks available for your convenience. The inside is relatively small. I wouldn’t eat here with a huge group but it is a reasonable size for a pizza joint. The pizza is delicious and I wouldn’t be afraid to try more meals here.”

Their crust isn't floppy, and has a well balanced crisp to chewy ratio. The sauce and cheese are delicious and definitely a much higher quality than others I've sampled. Their prices are very reasonable. Even if I'm just picking up I've always been greeted promptly. I've never dined in but the restaurant has a very cozy vibe. Highly recommended giving them a try.”

”Visited for lunch 12 pm today. I will say I was sad we were headed back to Tennessee but the I assume (manager )at this location was awesome. He really manages his staff in a way that they know what is expected of them and kept fresh, a great variety of pizzas and kept a positive atmosphere running throughout the whole building. He came around and checked on guests. The store was clean as well. Great lunch and great price!”

”I have had this place on my radar since it was the only decent looking pizza spot I have found so far in Charlotte. You order on your phone by either visiting their website or scanning the code on their takeout window and then wait patiently. The ticket times are a little long but they are also working out of a small kitchen so it is totally understandable. They have a decent amount of outdoor seating but you can take it to go as well. Just by looks alone, this was a sharp looking pizza. I ordered the plain pie which comes with tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, and basil. Coming in at a 16" pie, the value is there for the price you're paying. The pizza had some good char on the bottom, a light crisp, and a good chew to the outer crust. I noticed there were also what looked like bread crumbs in the box. I have heard of some places doing this on the outer or bottom crust but it was used sparingly to not take away from their dough. My only critique was that it just needed a little more oomph to it. I don't know if that needs to be in the sauce or the cheese, but I felt it just needed to be turned up a little more in terms of flavor. Otherwise, the individuals who own the spot were friendly and kept me updated on the status of my order. I got here right at open and they already had people picking up orders so it definitely has a good amount of recognition in the area. It was an interesting location as well because you have this unassuming pizzeria on one side of the road and newer apartments on the other side. It was like two worlds collided but were still living in harmony. If someone had asked me where to go for pizza in Charlotte, I would probably send them here first.”

”Our family has grown to love Stoked! We live close by so it’s always an easy spot to get a yummy pizza and other food (both to-go & in person). Can easily get in and out and there’s something on the menu for everyone. The only problem we have consistently run into is Melissa the waitress. She has waited on us multiple times and is never friendly. Additionally she rushes us out and will lay the check on the table before we are even done eating. I don’t mind a fast meal, but when I am still planning on ordering more food or dessert and the check is already sitting on our table that is frustrating.”
