“We booked a double queen bed room. We were checked in and given key cards that didn’t work. When we informed the front desk, she tried to open the room herself, however even the master key would not open the lock. So she told us our only other option is the have a king with pull out couch. When we got to our room, they told us we would have to make the bed ourselves because housekeeping had already left for the day. We left to get dinner and by the time we returned we still did not have any sheets or blankets for the pull out couch. When they finally brought some, they only brought us a fitted sheet and 4 pillow cases. It being 9:30 pm at this point, we called the front desk again hoping just to receive a blanket for covers. We never got extra towels or pillows. When taking a shower, the water pressure was that of a light mist. Absolutely impossible to wash my hair. The service could have been slightly more accommodating after the room switch, knowing there would be 4 guests in 1 room. But there was not. Pretty disappointed in the Aloft Raleigh.”

“Our room had 2 beds a small kitchen area with a microwave, a coffee pot, a fridg, plates and silverware. Bring your own filters. I left mine for the next guests. It was an efficiency. There was a table we could use. We had a few roaches come in. Housekeeping came quickly and sprayed. The pool was clean and the indoor hot tub was clean and toasty! It was a great place to stay while we explored towns to make our big move. We did end up buying a lot there. Great people and everything I love, Brunswick Plantation has all I need! Take advantage of the fresh seafood within minutes in Calabash or Little River, SC Beaches are within 20 minutes! Holden beach has pay to park with a QR code to set up a card payment. Its free before 9 am and after 5 pm. Sunset beach and Ocean Isle have free limited parking. Enjoy!”

“Front Desk and Staff were really friendly/ knowledgeable. We needed extra sheets and pillows and they had them to us within 5 minutes. Location was fantastic and convenient for walking Uptown. Breakfast was much better then a lot of higher end hotels. The room was clean. Only reason I wouldn't give it a 5 is because the room was a little smaller then expected. Overall a Fantastic Experience.”

I have never had a better experience at a restaurant and it’s all thanks to Stuart. I watched him, as he went out of his way to make a connection with all of the Customers that came to the bar. He created an experience I’ll never forget and I am looking forward to coming back to this hotel just for his service. The world needs more people like Stuart. ”Bad experience. We got there quite early, and they sold out of helmets and snowboards 30 min after opening. The only option was to ski without helmets (unless you brought all your own stuff). This is simple business math. Do the math, owners of this place. Figure out what your maximum capacity is for lift tickets, calculate how much equipment you need so that you don’t run out. Voila! And move your ticket and rental sales online, so unwitting tourists who don’t have their own equipment are not waiting in line for 90 minutes only to find out you’re out of everything they need. #dobetter”

Service was rated lower because they cancelled the evening reception the night we stayed, but didn't discount the room rate to compensate. Location is in a peaceful setting, but I could clearly hear the Interstate traffic from my bedroom. Overall, I'd stay here again, especially if traveling with family.”

”I’ll start by saying the room was very spacious but unfortunately that is the only good thing. We only booked for the indoor pool which out of the 4 nights we stayed it was never opened. Breakfast was horrible. No sausage in the gravy one morning, no biscuits for the gravy the next, no orange juice one day and then the next two days no juice at all. Also no milk. The halls smelled bad like onions or some kind of food. Our blanket on one bed was dirty, there was duct tape on the window, one of our tvs has 4 decent sized white dots on the screen. We nicely asked about all the above and not one time were any of these things taken care of nor did any of them seem to care besides we did get a new blanket. Also the pull out bed had stains. Beds were suppose to be Queen and they were double … I never have wrote a bad review but felt I should let future customers know before they waste their money.”

GIVE HER A SURPRISE RAISE! The main downfalls are that the fitness room is too hot and there is no way to change the temps. Also, the breakfast is good, but there is not a mixture of fresh fruit that I am accustomed to getting at a Hampton Inn. The breakfast and the feeling of safety are the reasons why I stay at Hampton Inn hotels.”

”We stayed 4 nights while in town for a wedding in Asheville. It sits right next to the airport and has good local shopping just around the corner. The hwy to Ashville was under construction, but never had a problem making the drive. We had room facing the airport, and it was nice watching the planes take off with the mountains in the background. The staff were always so friendly and helpful. The room was perfect for what we needed. Plenty of room and amenities.”
