Lake Wylie Boat Rentals

1500 River Dr, Belmont, NC 28012, United States

“This was my first time renting a pontoon from here on Saturday May 6 from 3:00-7:00 pm. My family and I were celebrating my dad's first birthday since he passed away last December. It started off bad because we were almost late and then they were running behind as well But Brandon let us bring it back past the cut off time to make up for that. He was very nice and gavee great instructions. The boat was clean and comfortable. We also rented a tube that was also in good condition. Everyone had a great time! I even signed up for their free rental boat drawing and can't wait to win. I added a picture of the boat we rented and a picture of the lake...great weather and not crowded at all.”

Knights Play Golf Center

2512 Ten-Ten Rd, Apex, NC 27539, United States

“Went 'twilight' golfing for my husband's birthday and had a great time. Tee time was 7:40, and we finished 9 holes a little before 10 pm. It was surprisingly busy, so we did have to wait at a few holes for the group ahead of us to finish. Rented a cart no problem, borrowed some extra clubs for myself, and only had to pay $18- a person. It's not too challenging of a course, so it's definitely good for new players. It might be too easy for seasoned golfers. Good condition of the course, maintained well, even had 2 rangers patrolling the course. They do have a drive range, putting green area, pro store, and bar/grill. I will go back again for sure!”

“We loved our stay at Blakeslee and were very impressed with the accommodations and location! This Air Force Recreation Area (AFRA) is open to military ID card holders (active, retired, DOD, etc). Our family friends recommended it after they visited with their RV. My mom made the reservation via the main office and there were very accommodating and helpful with all of the information. We booked a "cottage" and they have various ones to pick from (1, 2 and 3-4 bedroom). We stayed in a 2 bedroom cottage and it was all one story, had queen beds and twin beds in the layout, a common area, fully stocked kitchen and multiple bathrooms. The floors are cement so we took the advice of others and brought padded mats for our toddler and baby. We were also surprised with all of the kitchen items- utensils, pots, pans, toaster, microwave. There is no dishwasher so bring your own dish soap. There is also a washer and dryer. Sheets and bedding are provided. The wifi was the only thing that was a bit spotty and no strong signal. We loved the outdoor seating area overlooking the courtyard and watching the sunrises and sunsets. You can walk or drive over to the museum and check-in area. There is also a restaurant open to the public called Riverview. Next to the restaurant is a pier where we say people fishing and a sign that said watch out for alligators. We walked, enjoyed the scenery and spent time at the beach. You just cross the street and there is a public beach access walkway very close to the property. We also took the ferry from Fort Fisher to Southport which was a fun experience. The aquarium is also really close and of course Carolina and Kure Beach. We had a great stay! Thank you!”

Rivers Edge Golf Club And Plantation

2000 Arnold Palmer Dr, Shallotte, NC 28470, United States

“Had been 18 months since we last visited this course. We were pleasantly surprised with the course and clubhouse renovations! There is alot of excitement in the air at The Edge! We can hardly wait for the spring season. Conditions were great today despite cold temps and stiff breezes.”

Reems Creek Golf Club
4.5
( 8 reviews )

36 Pink Fox Cove Rd, Weaverville, NC 28787, United States

“Course Was in great shape greens are immaculate, with a lot of slopes, but for somebody playing from the senior tees, the course plays a lot longer than normal. Fairways are easily missed, with the rough being 1 - 1 1/2 in between small fairway landing areas. Course is extremely hilly, you’ll be extremely lucky to a flat lie. At a 114 slope no way does that compare with my home course of flat, wide and continuous fairways which is also a 114. If you go take in beautiful surroundings, don’t worry about your score.”

Cedarbrook Country Club

225 Country Club Dr, State Rd, NC 28676, United States

”Beautiful layout and course conditions today. Zim and his Staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. We're golfing our way North and South and selected this course based on reviews. The layout is very adventurous and the course is beautiful. Winding through woods and residences, we found the greens to be very quick compared to Florida golf where we live. This course is a wonderfully kept secret! Highly recommend!!”

Carolina Trace Country Club

2100 Country Club Dr, Sanford, NC 27332, United States

Forest Oaks Country Club

Open until 06:00 PM

4600 Forest Oaks Dr, Greensboro, NC 27406, United States

”Good from far, far from good. Used to be one of favorite tracks and always a good time. Greens were always very good. Today the greens are awful and slow and worst of all to charge $65 and be permanent CPO kind of ridiculous. Last time we’re coming here.”

Skybrook Golf Club
4.4
( 8 reviews )

14720 Northgreen Dr, Huntersville, NC 28078, United States

”One of the most challenging and fun courses I have played in the Charlotte area. Outstanding pro shop and bar. Friendly staff with outstanding customer service. The course will test all aspects of your game. Gorgeous greens, manicured fairways and tight tee boxes make every hole a sight to behold. The rolling hills, creeks and plateaus make you have to plan every shot and be sure of your alignment and distances. Definitely a beautiful course I'll be visiting again.”

Nags Head Golf Links
4.3
( 8 reviews )
Open until 05:00 PM

5615 S Seachase Dr, Nags Head, NC 27959, United States

”Quality golf course. Cool design, weaves around the Pamlico Sound and the Nags Head Village. Always in great shape maintenance wise. A bit pricey but to expected on an island. When playing this course, keep in mind that it is a position golf course. Play the angles, hit the greens, and stay out of trouble. The fairways are narrow and offer little forgiveness! Bombing and gouging will not work on this course unless you want to lose a dozen balls. Play smart golf, as the course is not overly long, and you will thoroughly enjoy the challenge.”

Leatherman Golf Learning Center

Gillespie Golf Course

306 E Florida St, Greensboro, NC 27406, United States

”Best price in area. Nine hole course with two sets of tees for front & back nine. Seniors/Juniors @$15, others $22. Driving range on site as well as a short course (par 3ish).”

Quaker Creek Golf Course
4.4
( 8 reviews )

2817 Barnett Rd, Mebane, NC 27302, United States

”I love playing here. I only started playing here recently and hate I waited so long to try it since I’m only 20 minutes east. Laid back, staff is great, course is in good shape, carts are in good shape, really affordable and very forgiving for a guy trying to get back into golf with wide fairways. Hole #11 is beautiful. I will say though there are a number of blind holes on this course, so you really need to be sure the group ahead of you has advanced before you tee off.”

Statesville Country Club

635 Deauville Rd, Statesville, NC 28625, United States

”This is gonna be long but the goal is to help future prospective clients looking into this venue. 😊 SCC was a really beautiful venue for a wedding, they have really good food too (would come here again and again for their food), they have very friendly and efficient kitchen staff, they also have an above and beyond event coordinator (she was amazing). So happy we chose this venue! ❤️ We only had one complication with the music and video set up because no one was able to help us set it up until late in the afternoon, so we had to figure that out to ourselves. But it worked out in the end. 😊 We strongly recommend anyone renting their video and audio to work on the media set up really ahead of time and plan where you'll be plugging things around and where you'll set up control. 🤗 Like what the owner has responded in one of the reviews here in google, they do charge a small fee of $50 for their sound system because of how basic it was. Although this was not something that was brought to our attention when we asked to rent their sound. 😅 It wasn't communicated to us that it's one switch for all sound source, also partially our fault for not checking or asking, but it wasn't brought up to us upfront (like what the owner's reposponse to someone else's review was mentioned). If we knew beforehand, we would have brought additional audio equipment. But that's okay, we learn from small complications like these, it's just we expected more for a country club. The only important note to remember when taking this venue into consideration is that if you are a big music lover looking to celebrate your event with music playing alongside a program, it'll be challenging to do it if you'll only rely on their sound system. Their sound system has a single switch for all types of input, which means you need to pick which one is being heard at a time. Either mic is on and music is off or video sound is muted and mic is on and so on. The only way to make it work is either bring your own mic with a speaker for it or your own source of music with a speaker for it, that way you can have music or video playing while the host has their mic on too at the same time. 😅 Will recommend this venue to anyone with confidence, but with the note on the limitations of their sound system for all the music lovers out there and those who wants a lively party fueled by constant music. 🤗 Oh! also if you ever decide to layout for a dance floor, keep your tables and dance floor closer to the front because if you distance your tables and the dance floor from front all the way to the very back, you'll have to either have really loud music in the front and barely hear it at the back or just have the music softly playing in the background for front and back, because the speakers are placed in parts where its either you get real loud at the ballroom or have it playing softly for all places. A solution to this is have everyone close to the front, so that everyone can hear and enjoy the music at a reasonable volume. 🤗”

The Country Club Of Whispering Pines
4.1
( 16 reviews )

2 Clubhouse Blvd, Whispering Pines, NC 28327, United States

”Golf course was in good condition. A large group of kids came out & played some holes, right in the middle of our 6 groups! We waited to hit on #18 and one of our foursomes couldn't finish because of them. That shouldn't have been allowed -- interrupting paying customers.”
