Staff was super helpful & friendly. Breakfast was free & had so much to choose from! Room was really nice & cleaning crew was super ! We definitely enjoyed our stay & will be coming back! 5 stars!”

“My wife and I stayed in a suite with a single king bed. The room was wonderful. Specifically, it was spacious and very clean. The bed was comfortable (not too hard). The layout of the room was nice as we didn't come close to feeling crowded. There's a small kitchen area, sitting area with a couch, and a desk with comfortable office chair. The service was friendly and when we arrived there was a signed card with a goody basket wishing us a happy anniversary. I definitely recommend staying here.”

My favorite part is the beautiful creek. The new seating and swings that sit along the back of the hotel, next to the creek, is so peaceful. No noise from the street traffic is a plus. ”We booked a Pet Friendly Room for a 1 night stay on our road trip to Atlanta. Room 117 was clean, attractive and quiet. There were safe, well illuminated grassy areas for walking our dog. On arrival, we were given a bag containing water for 2 adults and our pet, a list of pet friendly restaurants and contact info for a local vet. We recommend this facility to other travelers with fur babies.”

”Great stop on the road when traveling with dogs. There is a town dog park next door, which is also very clean and well kept. This may be the most pet friendly hotel I’ve been to. The staff interacted with my dog, gave her treats and toys and there is a station with essentials when going to the dog park. Rooms are updated, beds are comfortable. Very clean, no pet odor. The only negative is road traffic noise from the highway, and toiletries were not filled. Continental breakfast had plenty of options, including health conscious options.”

”They are renovating and did not disclose exactly how much! The noise is very loud and we have a newborn. They are renovating even on a Saturday. Started very early and front desk said they will be renovating until 5. Before booking, I'd reccomend calling to see how long they are renovating for, if they are still renovating during your travel go stay somewhere else especially if you want a relaxing weekend. Edit to add: the fire alarms also went off in the morning and the early afternoon. We were aware of the renovations however they did not disclose how much or how loud it truly would be. If you're looking for a relaxing weekend this is not the place to stay while they are doing renovations. 8 am sure is early on a Saturday morning, with a baby that wakes up every 3 to 4 hours to eat. Just wanted to make everyone aware. It might have been a nice place to stay other than the noisy renovations and fire alarms being tripped by construction workers.”

”I did not stay at the Lodge however I attended a Knitting Event there. The Lodge is just down the street from my home, so I pass it every day. I have eaten there many times at the restaurant (great food) and the location is fabulous with fantastic views of our Mountains here in Little Switzerland. The rooms must be great, as I rarely see the place empty. And if the cars are an indication of the clientele I see Porsches, Corvettes, BMW's, and I even saw a Bentley one time. Highly recommend the Big Lynn Lodge as a place to stay when you visit Little Switzerland and Spruce Pine.”
