Anchor Real Estate & Property Management Of Eastern North Carolina

1150 Piney Green Rd Suite 500, Jacksonville, NC 28546, United States

“I can't express enough how phenomenal my realtor, Emily, has been throughout the entire journey. When I initially purchased my house in 2021 amidst the market craze, Emily tirelessly assisted me in exploring various homes, even though I faced continuous competition and outbidding. Eventually, Emily led us to a fantastic new construction home in a beautiful community. Her unwavering attentiveness and prompt responses to all our queries made the entire process smooth and stress-free. Despite a setback in the expected buyer incentive funds for the new construction home, Emily went above and beyond, utilizing her own commission to cover the shortfall. Her generosity and kindness truly surprised me. The experience with Anchor Real Estate as a whole has been nothing short of wonderful. They go beyond just being a real estate company; they've created a community. The numerous social and family events they organize provide a sense of belonging to an extended family, making it more than just a home purchase. Fast forward to 2024, with military orders overseas, my wife and I decided to sell our home to acquire our forever home at the next duty station. There was no doubt in my mind that Emily, who initially sold us our home, was the perfect choice. Despite the challenges of a slow market, Emily stood by us throughout the entire process, alleviating any anxieties we had. Navigating the complexities of buying and selling a home was made seamless with her expertise, and I am incredibly grateful for her continued support. With Emily by our side, the journey has been not just manageable but truly enjoyable.”

“I’ve lived here for 3 months now and feel comfortable giving a 5 star review 🙂 friendly and helpful office staff, fast and efficient maintenance, respectful, friendly, and diverse residents, great location in Cary, great gym and pool, and walking distance to the elementary school. The property is always clean and they have frequent community events. My only complaint is there’s no dog park/run.”

“After talking to Kaela about the relative compatibility to other apartment living in the area, I went ahead and scheduled a tour with her. I was thoroughly impressed as much with the apartments as the expertise of Kaela’s knowledge of the property. Her natural kindness made deciding to live here a dream.”

“I have lived here for a little over a month. I like living here. The amenities are great and I’m obsessed with the barista bar (Jada and Jordan are amazing)! They even ordered matcha for me since I don’t drink coffee. The concierge staff are nice and welcoming. However, the reason they are receiving the rating that they are is because since I moved in there has been a missing blind in my studio apartment. I was not told about this beforehand, I had to make it known to the office and to maintenance. As a woman living on her own, safety is of the utmost importance and I’m exposed to our neighbors across the street due to the lack of privacy. It’s also very hard to sleep since all of the lights shine in to my apartment. I have asked for a temporary solution (maybe curtains?) but have received nothing. Additionally, during these dropping weathers the missing blind makes it much colder in my apartment. I have been in contact with several people in the office about it but recently everyone except Diana in the leasing office has stopped responding. I expected more from a luxury apartment.”

Cortland South End

2225 Hawkins St, Charlotte, NC 28203, United States

”The location of Spectrum South End is very convenient. It is within walking distance of many great restaurants and shops, and the nearby light rail station makes it easy to explore other parts of the city. The fitness center is well-equipped with a variety of cardio and strength training equipment. I also appreciate the fact that the gym is open 24/7, which allows me to work out whenever it's most convenient for me. The outdoor pool is a perfect place to relax on a sunny day. I have also been very impressed with the leasing office consultants at this apartment complex. They are always friendly, professional, and willing to go above and beyond to ensure that all of my needs are met. Whether I have a question about my lease, need help with a maintenance request, or just want to chat about the latest happenings in the neighborhood, they are always there to help. They are also very knowledgeable about the complex and the surrounding are always happy to offer suggestions for local restaurants, shops, and attractions, and they do a great job of keeping residents informed about upcoming events and activities. Overall, I would highly recommend this apartment complex to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and friendly place to call home.”

Woodland Estates Apartments
4.4
( 16 reviews )

6147 Winged Elm Ct, Charlotte, NC 28212, United States

”My name is Malik Gates. And I was a resident at Woodland Estates for 6 1/2 years. I would never recommend none of my family members or friends to never stay here. The 6 1/2 years that I lived there. The AC never worked and the heat didn’t worked either. It used to be very hot in the summertime and really cold in the winter. When I first moved in, I didn’t have roaches. But as time went on, other people moved into the other apartments in the building that my unit was in brought roaches. And the pest control people came to spray the people apartments in my building. The roaches eventually came into my unit. Maintenance didn’t never wanted to fix anything. I used to have to put in two or three requests for them to come to my unit. I was charged for the patio door in my unit that cracked during the last winter that I was living there. The patio door cracked because it was cold during that time. The people at the rent office said that it was an inside job. I’ve talked to the people at the front office, they told me that I would have to pay for it. And added it to my rent balance for 4 months in installments. Witch wasn’t right at all. When I moved out, they charged me with 3-4 waters bills and etc that was inaccurate. I spoke to the manager, she told me to only pay for one month, but my balance was sent to a credit system. And they doubled that amount. When I say I will never live here again, I meant it. This place deserves NO stars in my opinion.”

Lemmond Farm Apartments

12009 Lemmond Farm Dr, Charlotte, NC 28227, United States

”If you don’t want your vehicle broken into don’t live here! At least 2 vehicles get broke into each month at this location and my work van is one of them with them stealing $5k in tools. The people are nice but crime in this area is bad and Lemmond farm does nothing about but say “crime has no address” but still only hire a worthless security detail to “watch” your stuff while you sleep. With zero cameras on the property besides their precious pool area which also gets trashed every weekend during the summer they take no responsibility for trying to make it safer. (The pictures provided show my van which was parked right at the leasing office which has no cameras facing on the front of the building towards the parking lot)”

The Holston

105 Holston Vw Dr, Weaverville, NC 28787, United States

”The apartment is very comfortable, smells amazing and has everything you need (in-site laundry room, dishwasher, central A.C., spacious kitchen w/ isle, balcony or yard, awesome mountain views, and much more!). The management company is great. Alysha has been beyond fantastic!!! She helped us a lot, answered all our questions before moving-in, explained to us everything related to the community and she excels at making sure every detail was taken care of. The process went smoothly and super fast. We toured the whole community (and different units) on Friday, and the next Monday everything was ready. We moved on Tuesday. The building is new and well kept. Amenities are fabulous: beautiful pool area, nice spotless gym, many BBQ areas, coworking spaces and conference room, coffee bar, electric car charging stations. Everything is exceptionally clean and works well all the time. Definitely a wonderful place to live. Highly recommended!”

401 Oberlin

401 Oberlin Rd, Raleigh, NC 27605, United States

”I lived here for two years and had no issues the first year. I had always been very pleased with the staff here. Maintenance was also more than timely, all really friendly and personable individuals. However, during the second year I was involved in an incident that made me realize how unprofessional, incapable, and rude the staff was here. My car was involved in a hit and run accident involving two other vehicles in the secured parking deck at 401. The police were called and suggested going to the office for more information in parallel with their inquiry. So, I went to the office after the accident on Sunday and the leasing agent on duty appeared to be inattentive and did not take any measures to assist with the situation as she said she had "other things to do" than sit with the police to review the tapes. As a resident, I was taken aback by how a situation involving the police, and three damaged cars, was not the highest priority at the time. I called the leasing office the next day and asked if I could speak with the manager. I was abruptly cut off and hung up on intentionally by one of the leasing agents (the same employee I spoke to in person the day before). She cut me off immediately after I asked to speak with the manager I mentioned the incident, pretending not to hear what I had just requested, refusing to allow me to speak with her manager. I felt this was very unprofessional. While I understand the apartment does not want to be involved and is not liable, the incident did happen on your property, my car was severely damaged with $11,000 in repair costs and so were others, with inadequate help to solve the issue. I'm also a paying tenant who resigned a lease right before the incident, which I am now regretting, and I do not appreciate the way I was treated in such a pressing matter. I suspect you have a standard policy and rigorous employee training for handling situations like this, but this was certainly not handled professionally or adequately by your team. I hope that Tribridge does not condone this sort of response to such an urgent situation. This has severely impacted my view of the apartments and I would not recommend this apartment complex to anyone.”

Cortland Whitehall

9214 Christy Joy Dr, Charlotte, NC 28273, United States

”Absolutely no way I'd recommend living here. First off the parking is absolutely atrocious. I work nights and constantly have to park to buildings away to get a spot. They leave the security gates open daily that allow you into the complex itself to get to your door. The problem with this is that constantly make a beeping noise do to being left open. The office knows about it but their response was yeah it's always been that way. Will again I'm sorry but when I can hear it through my window every night and impact my ability to be able to get sleep. Ridiculous it's not been disconnected. The walls are beyond paper-thin. You hear every little thing outside of the apartment. Airplanes, doors, conversations, everything. It makes it impossible to get a good night's rest. They say they have a security officer that is assigned to the complex. I have seen this person one time and the little over a month and I have been here. It would definitely way more comforting since I have to walk to freaking buildings in order to get to mine that late at night to actually see that presence. I'm not exactly sure how the trash service works. Three different times I have left my dedicated little black trash can outside my front door to be picked up and not once has anybody taking the trash. $1500 for a 1 bedroom with extra cramped living area. The dining room table is literally right up against the kitchen island and the couch. You have absolutely no room to really maneuver. I simply can't get over how much they charge for rent in the Charlotte area. It's completely laughable. Look elsewhere.”

”Be careful of misinformation when dealing with the leasing office. I came into the office with my brother and a gentlemen showed us around the apartment complex. I was interested and informed the leasing agent that I would like to lease an apartment so we began the paperwork. I informed them that my foreign fiance would be an OCCUPANT of the apartment complex and they told me to add her on the application as a coapplicant. I informed them that she does not have a SSN or ITIN number and the leasing agent said it would be no issue and that they could use different methods of ID. I paid the applicaion fee of $350.00 and was told I would be contacted by the Magnolia help desk that processes documents for new residents. I received an email asking for my documents as well as my fiances documents. Passport, ID and SSN etc. I provided mine then informed them that my fiance is a foreign national and does not have this information which I also mentioned to the leasing agent. They informed me that they need this documentation to move forward. Given the circumstances I needed to move into an apartment quickly so In informed the desk desk that I need this process expedited or I would need to make other arrangements. The communication with the help desk is poor. You can only contact them by email and they take forever to respond. When I realized there was no way I'd make my deadline to move in I signed up to become a resident at a new apartment complex. A week goes their magnolia help desk finally resolved the issue and informed me that I could move in. However a whole week after my deadline. Due to the misinformation given by the leasing office and the magnolia help desks inability to expedite the documentation they lost a customer. I felt like I should not have to pay for the application fee because they gave me misleading information. I disputed the application fee with my bank to get the money back. A week or so ago I receive an email that I owe 385 dollar. 350 for the application fee and 35 for an NSF despite them taking the money the day I orginally submitted the application. Now I owe this apartment complex 385 dollars having not spent a single hour living there. I even spoke to their support and emailed them the thread of the back and forth with the help desk and the property management still refused to do whats right. PS: Spoke with property management and explained the situation and they gaslit me into believing its my fault rather than admitting to the misinformation they gave me. They absolutely did not want to settle nor work out an arrangement.”

”Backing up a lot of the recent reviews regarding residents being disrespected and greedy office staff trying to hit you with fees that aren't even clearly stated in the contract. Beware of the dishonest office staff who are incredibly rude to anyone that isn't signing/resigning a lease here. I also saw many people's reviews that are negative get hidden somehow, they probably just ask their friends to submit reviews who don't even live there. They are currently attempting to charge me double my prior rent on bologna fees. I understand having to follow policy, but this place really seems like they enjoy screwing you over.”
