I really appreciate that they are so inclusive to everyone with dietary restrictions. Excellent choices! The cafe is super clean and cozy inside. The staff is friendly and pleasant. “We’re just visiting Charlotte for the weekend and found this place & are so glad we did! The owner was more than accommodating- she explained the menu and even suggested samples before we ordered to make sure we got coffee that we really enjoyed! She went above and beyond to make sure our experience was excellent. They make all of their syrups and even roast their own coffee! The inside has a few tables and does have AC, she does lock the front door though always so just order at the window first and she will give you a table inside if you’d like, or there are lots of spaces outside to sit too! I had the lavender cold brew and it was delicious. My friend who came with got a decaf latte with spiced brown sugar syrup (which was homemade) & that was fantastic too! They also have some Cuban coffee that I would love to give a try too! We didn’t order food, but would’ve gotten a bagel, frittata (only served on weekends), donut, or sandwich. Highly recommend this cozy, welcoming coffee shop!”

“Great idea for a restaurant that should be fully supported by the community, with decent food and nice atmosphere, but with slow service during busy lunch times (that can be excused as most of the staff are from the rescue mission). I had the New Orleans chicken sandwich with a side of home fries. The sandwich was huge, but was not sauced as expected, since the order was mixed up and they had put the sauce on the side. The staff is being trained so we know going in that service may be slow. Other orders like the French toast were delicious. I will be back to support this restaurant with their hopeful message.”

We enjoy sitting in the sun and one of the newly refurbished locations and chatting talking about school, etc. The Starbucks experience is extremely consistent amongst stores. Finally complaint would be that store should not run out of a flavored syrup used in specialty drinks for a holiday theme related product. For instance, if it’s a couple of weeks before Christmas, don’t tell me you’re out of peppermint syrup, when half the menu includes peppermint drinks.”

Sadly, they were out of baked goods when I arrived at 1 pm :( but my LATTE!!! I got a brown sugar and rosemary latte, it was the seasonal, thinking i would be adventurous, and it was incredible. There was even a hint of salt on top. Fantastic froth despite being an oat milk latte. Will be returning next time I’m in Charlotte!”

We got boba tea and the flavor was perfect, you do have the option on how sweet you would like it. The boba balls themselves had a good texture and were chewy as they should be if they are good boba balls. The price range was just right with the amount of tea we got. The actual service was great and the gentleman who attended us was really polite and presentable. Not all boba tea is made equally but this place knows how. Definitely recommend a visit.”

Various breakfast wraps, bagels, croissant sandwiches, omelettes, and larger selection of wraps and plates. Some specialty items like smoked salmon and waffle sandwiches also available. Easy order system and big parking lot. Some grab and go options, but mostly expect to wait 10-15 mins for hot food to get prepared.”
