“I went to New York for the first time with my mother in July of 2023, my mother has several allergies and really strong asthma. We were looking for very clean hotels with no smells, (wood, paint, mold, etc.). We visited 15 hotels to see if their rooms smelled, since my mother would have asthma if they had any type of scent. We finally found The Wallace, no scents and extremely clean rooms. The staff is really helpful and welcoming and the neighborhood is very nice and peaceful, less touristy, which for us was better. If you or the person who you travel with is severely allergic I would 100% recommend this hotel.”

“We had a great weekend! Friendly staff and very good at their jobs. Place was very neat. Bathhouses were clean, showers were clean and the hot water was excellent! Owner was always available to you, and was around the camp day and night. A lot to do there during the day if you didn’t want to leave. I would definitely go back!”

“I love this place. I recommend it for a stay. It is a bit pricey but so worth it. The tents are huge ,clean and comfy. They provide a heater for cooler nights. There is a fire pit . You can purchase alcohol on the premises and drink it while walking on the premises. It had a great breakfast. There are other items for purchase. The bathrooms are unisex. Very clean and well maintained. This was one of the best night of our holiday”
