At our past visits, every staff person we've encountered has been wonderful. The food at the restaurants is always tasty and the surroundings are so cozy and beautiful. My kids love coming for the movie theater, the game room, the ice skating rink, the indoor/outdoor pool and more. This place is truly unique. We can't wait to be back!”

“We were looking for a short and casual winter getaway. We went right after the holidays, Tuesday-Friday, so it was very quiet. Our room was upgraded and we were in a corner with three huge beautiful windows. The TV was awesome, we connected our Apple TV and binged winter movies after our dinners in town. Rooms are very clean and super convenient. We would definitely come back.”

“Our campsite was level, as were many other campsites we looked at. Privacy, shade, and condition of fire pits and tables was good. Toilets and drinking water spigots were well located and well maintained. The sand beach is excellent for swimming. The firewood was $11 USD for 1 cubic foot, but was bone dry hardwood that split easily, and burned very well.”

“I went to New York for the first time with my mother in July of 2023, my mother has several allergies and really strong asthma. We were looking for very clean hotels with no smells, (wood, paint, mold, etc.). We visited 15 hotels to see if their rooms smelled, since my mother would have asthma if they had any type of scent. We finally found The Wallace, no scents and extremely clean rooms. The staff is really helpful and welcoming and the neighborhood is very nice and peaceful, less touristy, which for us was better. If you or the person who you travel with is severely allergic I would 100% recommend this hotel.”

“Had a great time. The hour horse ride was perfect. The horseback staff were all nice and helpful. The smokey flavor bark on the prime rib was delicious. The pretzels balls, cheese burger and mac&cheese were perfect. Wait staff was also very good. Was in a food coma most of the way home. A lot of places around the place if you wanna go outside. One star down because of dirty old toilets, sometimes there is no toilet paper at all. Showers are also not in a perfect condition, some faucets are broken. Grab your tube, boat, kayak to have more fun! In general - great experience! I recommend this place.”

“We wanted to go over night before New Years, just to get away with the kids. Our older son has a disability and can be a little loud at times so we tend to look for something with a little more privacy. The website looked really nice and the one bedroom cabin was available so we booked it. The setting on the shores of Fourth Lake was beautiful. The location was convenient, mid-way between Old Forge and Inlet. The Lodge was really nice too, this is were the grab and go breakfast is located. Pour yourself a cup of coffee and sit in front of the stone fireplace right on the shoreline. It was relaxing on a chilly New Years Eve morning. The one-bedroom cabin was average at best, which was kind of disappointing given the other areas of the resort and the price of the accommodations. I think it is due for a remodel. The floors were inexpensive laminate and were pretty beat up. There was a cheap looking electric "wood stove" in the living room area to take the chill out. It worked pretty well but it was cheesy looking and the floors were still very cold (probably not insulated). Furniture was nice and comfortable; everything was clean and well kept. The bathroom was clean but was outfitted with economy in mind. The vanity and one-piece fiberglass shower stall were right from Home Depot. It was more like a handyman's cabin rather than a cabin that you would find at a "luxury" resort. If we were to stay again we would likely try different accommodations on the resort in hopes that they were more in line with the "luxury" description on the website.”

“Stayed here this past weekend. The owner Brian was one of the most down to earth and nicest people. Honestly I would be considered high maintenance taking into consideration where you are and this isn’t the Waldorf Astoria I absolutely enjoyed my stay here very much. All the rooms have balconies and there is parking near your room. Rooms are very clean, bed and pillows are very comfortable. They are dog friendly, have a fridge and keurig machine in the room. I do not have one complaint. The prices are beyond fair. The grounds are very nice and well kept. I would 110% stay here again and again and plan on doing so soon. Overall A+++ for everything. Thank you to Brian and Nate for being such great hosts!”

“The stone cottage is a 10mnt walk from the in; where you receive your room key and check in. They didn't offer any accommodations or shuttle service to take us to the rooms, we had to walk and drag our bags there. Even when we requested a shuttle service or taxi when leaving, because it was supposed to rain in the morning. They didn't grantee anything and we had to just gamble with our bags in the rain. Disappointing. Overall, good location with closeness to the mountain and hiking trails. But the stone cottage is right next to the highway, which is noisy, but even the mountain is right there next to the highway, so there's no escape.”
