We were traveling with our dog and every staff member took the time to greet her and provide her with treats. All the staff are amazing friendly. Lately I’ve felt customer service as a whole has fallen to way side in the world. Not so here at Hampton Inn Saratoga. Can’t recommend this hotel more.”

“Family trip 3 nights before a cruise. Overall, we enjoyed this hotel but let's get the cons out of the way.... Cons - a few hairs in the shower and bathroom floor left from the last guests - breakfast gets boring fast, the sandwiches were tasty but the bread was always hard from sitting in the warmer; changing out the cereal flavors would have been nice - area felt a little sketchy but we walked all around the neighborhood and never had issues so probably wouldn't even consider it a con. My kids did go up to the 10th floor stairwell and a man was up there saying he was changing clothes Pros - cleaning employees did excellent daily cleanings, whenever we came back from being out all day our room was all tidied up even though sign in room said every other day cleanings - all of the front desk staff were extra nice and helpful - breakfast staff worked very hard, they never let anything run out and they kept it clean; the kids like that the waffles came in two different shapes - room was large, plenty of room for 4 people; beds were comfy, a/c worked well, kitchen was great and had everything you needed - 2 mins from Dutch Kills subway station so easy rode into the city even for us newbies”

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and they went above and beyond to make sure I had a comfortable stay. My room was spacious and clean, and it had everything I needed, including a full kitchen, a comfortable bed, and a large bathroom. The hotel also has a number of amenities that I enjoyed using, such as the pool, the fitness center, and the free breakfast buffet. I was particularly impressed with the hotel's location. It was close to everything I needed, including restaurants, shops, and attractions. I was also able to easily get to the highway, which was convenient for my day trips. “Overall I had a great time here. If you want all the amenities views and bars and restaurants in your hotel this may not be the place for you. We wanted a nice sized comfortable room for both our families to relax after touring the city. And that’s exactly what we got. Rooms were huge compared to anything in the city. All the kids were comfortably hanging out together. The location was great and definitely walkable to most places. The rooms are a bit old but well maintained. Could definitely use an update. Service was good but we never really needed anything except toothpaste.”

Rooms for the price are adequate though the room we had could certainly do with an update in the bathroom and a closer eye on the dust on surfaces such as windows and plugs and sockets. Very friendly and helpful front desk staff though some of the other staff seemed to prefer to avoid guests requests rather than interact. The attached restaurant serves a very good value breakfast to guests at the weekend for only $13.”

“Passed this place for many years. Recently identified it on Google Maps. Love the way they utilize their sidewalk/street space with loads of benches, umbrellas and toys for the kids. The hot dogs (Sabrette) were very good. Love the various toppings. Hope to make my way through the menu over time. Will definitely stop here on our way to the Hartford area.”

“If you want to be in the heart of Times Square this hotel is the best for it. Super close to everything around us which was my favorite thing about it (to walk) Rooms were OK. Definitely look a lot nicer in pictures. I wasn’t impressed with the cleanliness at all .. i could tell the bathroom counter was never wiped it still has tooth brush stains and we stayed for 6 nights. Nothing was wiped down not even toilets were cleaned. You hear everything going on in the hallways as well. People talking, doors closing.. there’s no sound proofing. Staff at the front desk and bell desk were very friendly. Elevators take forever to catch as well. The 2 bars the hotel have are pretty cool as well. Overall i wouldn’t recommend this place.”

“We stayed here for 3 nights over the New Years weekend. We tried to check in early (our train got in around 1:30 and check in was at 3). They held our luggage and told us they would text when our room was ready. We splurged for a king suite to get some extra space and a view. We were in room 2901. The views were spectacular! Our bedroom was a stunner with floor to ceiling windows across an entire wall and corner. Our balcony had an awesome view of the Empire State Building and even could see a peek of Times Square through the skyline.”

“Very clean hotel. Rooms are small but functional and not prohibitive. When we checked in the gentleman who checked us in was professional, helpful and friendly. Tony the bartender was great. At checkout at 4 am the following morning you could tell the difference between staffing. No coffee in the lobby, well cold night before coffee. When we asked some guy behind the desk with his back to us mumbled a few times then pointed us to a microwave without turning around and said warm it up. He single-handedly ensured we won’t stay at Aloft again. He was a super jerk, really no other way to put it.”

“SO very pleased with our stay here. Loved the whole vibe here, but what really made it amazing was the wonderful care and kindness we received from Angela. From the moment we arrived, till the moment we left, she provided not just great customer service...but really what felt like personal care to me and my mom. Angela wasn't just going through the motions w/us...but really seemed to care about helping us the few times we needed it. I was so happy she was the one that drove us to the airport (and then picked me up, after my mom left). Give her a raise!!! And furthermore, every person that worked there...whether passing in the hallway or at the front desk, every one of them was kind and had a smile and a nice greeting. No wonders this place gets great reviews. I need to figure out a way to stay here again...even though my mom has moved away from this area...I liked this hotel and customer care that much! The hotel itself is really cute, smart and has everything that you need. The breakfast in the morning is wonderful too. But what truly sets it apart from the competition was the wonderful customer care. Truly above and beyond. Thank you Angela and everyone at Tru for making our brief stay so enjoyable!”
