“The absolute best! From their wine to food to service to their gorgeous backdrop and their amazing house photographer Ms Chris. I can not say enough about this place. We made a reservation, had delicious food and drinks and then we met with Ms Chris right after that for a family photo shoot in their beautiful vines and I can not be happier. Ms Chris is absolutely amazing. So talented, patient and lovely to work worth. Our photo shoot included 2 adults and 3 kids and she amazed us as she snapped perfect shot after shot. Getting 3 kids to smile at once is no easy task!”

“It's an absolute pleasure to write a review for this establishment. The beers are phenomenal with so many types to try. The brûlée treatment to the stouts and barleywines was a first for me and insanely delicious. Everyone that works there is phenomenal. Irene & Tony were awesome behind the bar! The environment is super welcoming and warm with a charming ambiance. I met one of the owners as well and he was very nice. The pizza from Lala's is absolutely delicious! And I'd be remiss to not mention how awesome Simcoe the cat is! I wish this brewery was closer to me but it's worth the drive. I can't wait to go back.”

“Had a great time. Drinks were amazing! Our food order came out a bit mixed up and when I looked around for my waitress she noticed me looking and immediately came over. She then went right to the kitchen and waited for what we needed bringing it right back out. My tater tots were a bit too salty for my taste, but everything else was amazing. “Ordered catering from here for my son’s first birthday party. We spent over $800 and the service was subpar! To start things off, they were almost an hour late. The delivery person was very unprofessional. He helped set up a little bit and then just left. He did not ask us to sign or anything. We spent the next 30 plus minutes putting water underneath the trays in front of our guests. Then we realized that they did not give us enough plates for the amount of people/food and did not give us any of the serving spoons that they said they would. My husband called them asking them to bring more plates and serving spoons but their response was that it’s too far. We had to scrounge around the venue looking for them. I also ended up going out to buy plates because we ran out. Absolutely unacceptable!! Later that evening when we went to return the racks they had the audacity to let us know that there was an automatic 10% tip for the driver and that there was a credit card processing fee. They did not mention either things to us when we initially ordered. And to be fair we were going to tip 20% but because of the awful service we decided not to. In terms of the food, some of it was good and some were average. The pasta salad had way too much vinegar and the salad dressing for the house salad was tasteless. Those were the only two trays left that were nearly full and I was wondering why at the time. Everything else was empty. (Since I was the host I didn’t eat much). Took them home to have for lunch and that’s when I knew why. Overall, we had a terrible experience with this place and will not be doing business with them again.”

“The Hilltop Restaurant & Bar catered my wedding of 220 people and they were AMAZING in every way!! The food was absolutely incredible, full of flavor, and great portions. Literally every single person I talked to after the wedding said the food was the best they had ever had and the staff were very helpful. The food was just as good if not better than the smaller servings we had at our tasting, which is super impressive in such a large quantity (also the tastings are a blast!!). My husband and I cannot say enough about how awesome Crystal is to work with!! She is organized, fun, kind, personable, patient, understanding, knowledgeable (especially when it comes to the craziness of wedding planning) !! She made the whole process of planning the food for our wedding such a fun experience! I honestly believe there is no better person to work with or place to have cater any special event you may have! When it comes to their food choices you really can’t go wrong with anything whether at their restaurant or for catering. Everything is made so fresh and bursting with flavor. The BBQ short ribs are by far the most amazing we have ever had and the bourbon sweet potato mash tastes like a cinnamon roll/a bit of heaven😋. The charcuterie table they set up for appetizer hour was GORGEOUS and so tasty!! We are big foodies and we can say with certainty that Hilltop is our favorite restaurant ever!!❤️❤️”

“I had a really good experience at Doc Sullivan’s. The place was slammed but it didn’t stop the bartenders from having a good time and messing with everyone at the bar. Also some of the best wings I’ve had in a minute. Buffalo is known for the “Beef on Weck” and wings. Doc’s had the brilliant idea of pairing the two together. The wings were a perfect size with the perfect ratio of crispiness and wetness. The sauce was super flavorful.”

Loved the makgeolli drinks they had. One downside is the blender. It was the loudest blender we’ve ever heard of and it could easily disrupt any conversation you have if you sit near the bar.”
