“Dropped off my SUNY New Paltz student and worth the 20 minute drive. Everything was clean, staff was amazing and as non buffet enthusiasts this one I actually ate from. The bagels were wrapped individually which made me extremely happy. Sleeping on an air mattress was not for me. This was a much better option for my hips 😀 the beds were comfortable. Definitely staying here again.”

“A little hard to find. Kind of off the beaten path. If you miss the small sign good luck knowing you passed it. Staff was very courteous. Allowed me to check in around 11:45 am. Rooms are quaint, efficiently set up. Definitely feels more like a business hotel than it does a family hotel. Pool is nice but nobody was using it. 24/7 coffee as with all Hilton properties. The bathrooms in the room were big, and the showers had great pressure!”

“The location is convenient to the bus terminal which is 1-2 min walking distance. Check-in and out was smooth. The room was decent, clean sheets, towels and bathroom but hotel had a smell like old carpet. Air quality felt stuffy as my stay continued, noticing the a.c. unit wasn't working in my room, it was reading 82°F. Called front desk to see if they can handle the situation, maintenance came about 30 mins later, he flashed his light at the thermostat and flashed the light at the vent. He did a little banging at the vent and told us it would take an hour to kick in. Nothing was really solved because the air barely came out the vents. We opened the windows but there was no cross breeze. Next day room temperature read at 83°F we figured maybe as we are out and about exploring the town the air would come back on, but it was the same situation. Called front desk they requested for us to go outside to get some breeze, proceeded to tell us to open the opens that only opened about 3 inches wide. Then proceeded to tell us that they gave out fans because the entire building a.c. unit was out and that they only gave fans to the people that stay here at the hotel as though I'm not a customer here (never received a fan). So we had another hot night in the hotel. Breakfast had very limited options: served eggs, french toast, cold cereal, oatmeal, self pancakes, muffins, coffee, juice....no meats. The area itself is little sketchy there are people who hang around the building. There are places to eat/convenient stores within walking distance. Staff was okay but wished they treated all guests equally due to the a.c. power outage.”

“The rooms with its own kitchenette is a plus when travelling with a kid, it’s spacious. You’ll hear doors when its closed at night as the doors are pretty heavy and sturdy, the floors are not noise proof so you might hear people walking above. Inclusive breakfast in the morning was also great. The location is near the stores that we visited. Housekeeping does sound that they are shouting at each other but it did look like a friendly funny conversation 😂”

“We arrived with 6 kids at 11pm to what we had thought was going to be rooms that were connected. However, they gave us two rooms far apart. The sweet girl helping us was the best part. She was trying so hard but they were sold out. She saw that we had asked for joining rooms but apparently they ignored the request. Aside from us not getting into a room until an hour later (with 6 kids who were exhausted) This was the nastiest hotel I’ve stayed in. There was throw up in the stairs and outside the room across from us. It is 9:30 am and no one has cleaned it yet. Vomit just lying on the floor. I have told several employees and it has been there since last night. Again, the sweet girl who helped us needs a raise and a new job - she should not be working at such a nasty place. First and last time staying at Marriott.”

But *thin* walls and floors, a rather lower class and therefore loud clientele, really ruined the value for us. Many of the construction and maintenance details also became apparent over a few days. If you don't mind noise this is a nice hotel. For peace and quiet better look again.”
