“Fish Creek Pond campground was really great. The staff at the gate didn’t have much to say and wasn’t much of a welcome. Our lot was a waterfront site #84 which was a great spot that was cleared and offered a decent view of the lake. Neighbours were friendly and kept to themselves. The overall campsite crowd was quiet which was nice. The toilet facilities offer indoor plumbing and cold water to wash your hands. You’ll have a mirror and an electrical outlet as well. Toilet paper is paper thin so expect that. A lot of spiders in the washroom as well. It is the wilderness but I’m just painting a picture of what to expect.”

“I camp in a self-contained 25 foot sprinter van and she usually pretty easy to maneuver around the campground but I would suggest that this is a Campground for the returning camper and not so much someone coming here for the first time. It took me three tries to find the dog park. One map showed it behind the office but it was not. One Matt showed it around the corner, but that Way was locked and finally I found, it named not Murphy’s pub but completely different name and we were finally able to use it. They are very cute names on the Mac. I never didn’t understand what they were for and when I arrived, they gave me a map and said have a nice night. That’s fine as long as everything is clearly mark and there are not monster speed bumps as you try to go and find your campsite. When I made this reservation in January, and it is now September, I asked for a full site, but it did not have sewage, and it was on the backside of the campsite, where yes, indeed, the mosquitoes are crazy. I did move the next day which was just an inconvenience but not necessary because I’ve made my reservation so far to be . The people who work here are very nice and the bones of the camp are excellent and very family oriented. However, they are actively selling campsites and I really think they want to return in the camper and not the person traveling through. I have just completed 9000 miles of travel and without a doubt this was one of the most confusing campground in the entire trip , I came here to see the hot air balloon festival and was unfortunately given wrong information along the way. Their shuttle did not go to the location. In all, it was a frustrating weekend, but I had good neighbors and I enjoyed visiting with many of them.”

“I just completed my 10th annual salmon trip staying here. The campground and experience has gotten better every year since the current owners started operating it. The whole place is clean and well kept. Bob, Marion and their staff are friendly and personable to everyone yet they have a unique ability to make you feel like their most special customer. They are very respectful. In return, most campers reciprocate that respect which results in a pleasurable time for everyone. This spot is great for families, just the guys/gals, or a private stay for anyone of any age.”

“We booked a seasonal site and loved it so much we are coming back next year! Thanks to Mike, Mary, Tonya and the great ladies in the office for all their work and great local recommendations. Sites are spacious, well maintained and plenty of beautiful shady trees. This is by far the best campsite in the area, you feel like you are actually camping and not stuck in a parking lot. Great location close to town as well!! 10/10 recommend!”

“It is very cute place! Lake is awesome, so clean and warm, and the views are just amazing. Camp sites are pretty good, but some of them have not so good grills and tables. A lot of places around the place if you wanna go outside. One star down because of dirty old toilets, sometimes there is no toilet paper at all. Showers are also not in a perfect condition, some faucets are broken. Grab your tube, boat, kayak to have more fun! In general - great experience! I recommend this place.”

“Wow!!! Where do I start?? Friendly warm smiles from every staff member, craft cocktails that will make your head spin and taste stellar. The restaurant has a menu nothing short of spectacular food! The challah bread with the special butter, the Caesar salad, like I’ve never tasted, the pork chop that melts in your mouth, and the fresh made pasta- all Divine! What a great surprise in the middle of nowhere 😀 The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. The ambiance in the lounge and the fire pit outside was something I wish I could bottle up and take home. “Extremely difficult to get hold of this resort via any channel. I had a question about checking in late and called at least three times and messaged without getting any feedback. I took my chance and went there and as I started getting automated notification of check in process looked like I could get in late. I wish they had answered me and stress me given they are so far into long Island to find out something you wanted is not available or possible. Their communication was very well organized after that and was able to find my room and get in. The room is just as pictured and perfect. The room has heating and cooling which is perfect. The view is marvelous and the sound of the ocean outside is just majestic. The hotel is few steps from the sandy beach which is again a great plus. I really enjoyed my stay here and will definitely return.”

“Very friendly campground with great location. Grounds well-kept and pleasant layout for where we camp. For the most part, campers seemed to be abiding by the campground rules. There were some instances where folks didn't put out their fires and one group had built a dog pen with portable fencing. A violation of the campground rules which no one addressed.”
