“I lived there with my family for close to three and half years. It’s a top notch community. Awesome maintenance team and very proactive leasing office staff. The community has lot of amenities, all well maintained. It’s built at a prime location close to several shopping options. I didn’t come across any crime reported all through my time there. My family had an awesome time and my two kids made lot of of beautiful memories there something we will all cherish for the rest of our life. We would have continued living there if we didn’t have to move to a different state. We miss Avalon so much! Thank you for all the wonderful memories!”

“Unprofessional and disrespectful is an understatement, I’ve been tryna to get maintenance out here for 2 days because our breakers are located in the basement (out of reach to tenants) and now all my food in my refrigerator is bad and I have a 9 year old son. I had fresh ice in my ice dispenser and this is what’s left due to melting. Still haven’t received any call backs whatsoever. Service is poor.”

“This complex is extremely nice. The amenities are clean and excellent to have. I’m also writing to specifically review the maintenance services. They are very fast and efficient and the workers are very helpful and kind. In particular we’ve worked with Sean who is a quick worker and always offers to fix anything that could be needed. Highly recommend this property for young couples or friends who want a nice secluded complex that’s still close to Quincy center and access to Boston.”

”So far it’s a win! We have a 2 bed 2 bath with balcony. Great location and building is very well maintained. Dogs are allowed and everything is CLEAN. No pool but lots of outdoor and common spaces. Could use a dog washing area and an outdoor space for dogs to relieve themselves for the colder months. Very happy living here.”

My fiancé and I moved into the apartments at Revolution in May and we ran into some issues with the old management who said they would fix our floors that they messed up but never did. When we put in a new maintenance request with the new management, Martin responded almost immediately and helped us throughout the entire process. He was in constant communication with us, and was able to fix the issue with our floors in such a fast manner. We are so thankful he was able to do this and make it convenient for us!”

”Mark and Montrez are two of my favorite receptionists at Ava because they are always smiling and wishing us the best! Mark even helped my mom today when she was locked out. Nicole also resolved a residence app request literally within 15 minutes of submitting it. Meg additionally honored our original price for the unit of when we were touring Ava. Genuinely, everyone who works here is super considerate of our safety and comfort and I love how the team dynamic is very cohesive! The workers are diligent, welcoming and humble with their intelligence. I couldn’t recommend this place more and wish I could give this review six stars instead of five!”

”Truly loved the comedy show they had on November 10th. The Batch Yard has great food vents for their residences that live here and that is great to have to help know your neighbors and socialize. The comedy shows should be one show a month they were really enjoyable. 😊 I’ve lived here for almost two years now and the apartment management and staff are so helpful and understanding. ”Do not live here water is always off no hot water you can hear everything through the walls pepole constantly slamming doors no one picks up after there pets. Rude management. They lie to you when u sign the lease saying it’s a great place to live that is a lie. Packages go missing all the time all they care about is money and frankly for the amount of money you pay it’s not worth it hall ways smell like mold. Awful place I regret it I will also be posting pictures as proof of their neglect they like to answer reviews saying what pepole are reviewing are allegation’s. That’s why I will be posting pictures as proof slumlords at its best. Place Is a mess no one does anything about it. Not worth 3k a month at all. All the 5 star reviews are fake for sure”

”Just to give you a first bad impression, the swimming pool picture they use in the ad is not included in the rent!! Cons: 1) Heating is a major issue, as the monthly bill can skyrocket up to $400 in a studio, and the place still doesn't feel adequately warm. My home stays between 60 and 63F!! Don't fall for it when they say that it depends on usage. The unit is not well insulated, and I can feel cold air from all the surrounding holes. 2)The leasing team schedules multiple concurrent construction projects both from the outside and inside, disrupting regular business hours and making it challenging to work from home. 3) Safety concerns arise due to the absence of security personnel during the night, leaving residents vulnerable. They only send reminder emails after safety incidents, emphasizing the need to lock common doors behind you. 4) Comfort and cleanliness are compromised after construction projects, as contractors fail to clean up the mess they create in your home. 5) The lack of rent control in this building means that after your lease is over, you can expect to face the current market price, making it an unfavorable option for long-term stays. Pros: 1) Location and views 2) The front desk staff is very nice.”

”Don't just take my word it. You're here reading reviews so take a look at the other reviews that are actually from residents (not those who gave a rating for a short apartment hunting visit). You'll likely note that while management lacks the ability to orchestrate it absolutely perpetuates "service" of paying customers that is devoid of empathy (let alone *service*). Some folks on staff here are stellar & could easily uplift this 5-star contender were it not managed as it has been managed by the owner(s). Feel free to reach out directly if you've questions about your specific decision; whether it relates to the black mold other residents have been faced with in one of the buildings (at least, especially given the upkeep of flashing and exterior membranes), and other easy improvements that could be made to the capital plan & nurturing of community desperately needed at this property. The concierges are magical, outshined only by the folks who keep this place from quite literally falling to pieces (Adam, Julio, & Julio's team chief among them). The mismanagement here cuts to the core of why pure capitalism is a sure path to lower return on investment. An easy example of the frustrations you may encounter: It's been months since I submitted a request for service to an advertised amenity, that I was told could, would, & "should" be easy to fixed and yet it hasn't been addressed at all. There's also the implementation of "modern" key technology that not only makes some of us residents feel less safe but has also resulted in my personal loss of access to what is supposed to be what I'm entitled to access as part of my lease for well over 90 hours, not even including the hours spent trying to get resolution from the would be professionals. I hope my fellow residents will chime in with their own experiences so we can make updates once we're actually in a five-star establishment.”

There is outdoor pool, outdoor grills area, indoor table tennis etc. And the management staff are very friendly and informative especially Michael who is very helpful and likes to organize parties for the residents. I would like to rate a 5 star for this place.”
