“We stopped by Mercy Tavern for a lovely lunch. The food was amazing! We were seated immediately. Ordered a Reuben and a Lobster Roll, both which were served with Garlic Fries, and both were delicious. We didn't have any complaints about the quality of food or how amazing it was. The service was slow though, and our drinks were not refilled. The server was pleasant, but slow and not very attentive. But that shouldn't bring down the fact that the food was very good - maybe next time I will just order two drinks at a time so I don't have to wait.”

“This place was an amazing restaurant by far. The service there was impeccable. They were so nice and they did their job very well. I ordered the bolognese and it was big enough for two people. It had an amazing flavor in the shredded cheese on top and the sauce with the pasta made it perfect. It was also a little bit dark to enhance the atmosphere and I thought it was very nice. I cannot wait to come back here because of how good the food is and the restaurant. The only minor problem that I had was that the lava cake that we had for desert didn't have the melted chocolate ganache inside. It just didnt melt but it was still very good. This was an awesome place and I highly recommend it to everyone.”

“Outstanding! From the scrumptious bread, to the delicious appetizer, to the mouth-watering main course, and finally the sweet dessert! The food was rich in flavor, creating a truly harmonic melody for the pallet! The presentation was artistic. Service was beyond pristine, and the atmosphere was cozy. All this and very reasonably priced, especially for the quality of each dish served. I highly recommend it, and I WILL be back soon!!”

”Atmosphere & Expectations: I visited Table with much anticipation, intrigued by its communal dining concept and cozy atmosphere. The setting was inviting, fostering a shared dining experience which I found quite appealing. Cuisine & Repetition: As an Italian restaurant, I expected Italian fare, but I was surprised by the limited variety within this theme. The prefixed menu heavily featured dishes centered around cheese and red sauce. Despite each being well-prepared, the repetitive nature of these components in most dishes led to a somewhat monotonous dining experience. A few meat dishes provided some diversity, but they were few and somewhat rich for my liking. Value for Money: Reflecting on the meal and ambiance, the price felt a bit high. The atmosphere and unique dining style were definitely positives, but the lack of variety in the menu and the overall experience didn't fully justify the cost. Overall Impression: Table offers a unique communal dining experience in a pleasant setting, but the repetitive cheese and red sauce-centric menu might not meet expectations for those seeking a varied Italian culinary journey.”

”The original place we intended to go to was having renovations done. This place was suggested. We entered and was greeted warmly I requested a window seat, the host said she like widow seat too. She offered us water. Our waitress came up she was pleasant and patient with us seeing it was our first time. We finally ordered got our meal and everything was good I must say. The steak tips were cooked perfectly chicken parmigiana with risotto was really good. The chicken in the Tuscano can pasta could use a bit more seasoning. I think they should offer the Tuscano wedge with the Gorgonzola dressing on the side. It was a bit overpowering. Other than that simply delicious and filling.”

”Overall this is quite a good artisan pizza spot - chewy crust, great flavors/toppings, and fun cocktails. The food came out unbelievably fast - but it took a long time to get the server's attention because we sat by the door and they didn't see us. We had to go ask the hostess to get the server after waiting about 20 minutes. This is the reason for the 2/5 stars for atmosphere and 1 star removed from overall rating. The calamari was my favorite appetizer - light and perfectly fried. We enjoyed the meatballs - tender and well sauced. We went as a 6 person group and tried 5 pizzas and loved them all, especially the almondine one. That was fantastic and unique. The crusts were perfect but the middles were a little soggy so that could be improved. The salads were all fresh and delicious though on the sweeter side. The cocktails were interesting and fun and I'd go again to try a few others! I'd recommend this for an upscale sit-down pizza spot with some variety. We did not have the pasta so we cannot comment on it but we'll be back to try it! Lastly, the desserts were excellent. We got the tiramisu and the chocolate cake and they were decadent and perfect. We'd come back just for them. The tiramisu was so fluffy and light. Oof!”

”Who knew a bowling alley could have such great food? We were skeptical when we were told how good the food is at Barn Bowl & Bistro, but having been there about a dozen times now, we're convinced. They serve up great dishes with consistency and at a reasonable price for the Island. Most recently I had their Brazilian churrasco bbq...where they come to your table with skewers of meat and slice off what you want. At $34.99, it's an awesome deal for some delicious meats. It comes with three sides: rice, a salsa of sorts, and a third dish which I didn't catch the name of but was quite tasty. Currently, they're talking about offering it on Saturdays - maybe Fridays - so call first. And go support them so they continue to serve it up! Other suggestions...the shrimp and sausage pasta is great as are the pizzas. I haven't had the curry but friends have and thoroughly enjoyed it. Personally, I've had the scallops, Bang Bang Cauliflower, SW Chicken Egg Rolls, and the Fried Fishermans Platter - which can serve two. All are good. A lot of folks tout the fried chicken but the night my husband had it, it wasn't well seasoned. And rumor has it there might be better fish and chips elsewhere. The restaurant is clean and comfortable. The staff is awesome and they mix great drinks. All in all, it's an establishment we'll continue to enjoy and support. Oh, and the bowling is great too!”

This is like having North End quality right in our own backyard (we were home in 5 minutes). The food tasted so fresh, the chicken parm was huge & tasted wonderful, everything was excellent!! ”If you are looking for a romantic date night or fun girls get together for something special, Dryft is an amazing spot! Located under new luxury apartments across from Revere Beach, it is bringing a new modern vibe to this historic location. The menu ranges from fresh local oysters to hand-made pasta dishes, which are exceptional. I absolutely love their pesto gnocchi with chunks of butternut squash and the fried calamari, which is lightly battered and seasoned to perfection! If you are not a seafood lover.. no worries! They offer a variety of dishes with chicken and beef. I love their Sunday brunch. The swordfish tacos are my go-to! You get 2 thick tacos and a side salad. Their espresso martinis are outstanding, and I am always a fan of a seasonal sangria! They also added an outside bar open during the summer, which has plenty of seating if the inside is too busy. I love this spot and suggest giving it a try if you haven't already!”

”I had high hopes walking into this restaurant but left with extreme disappointment and a bad taste in my mouth. After admiring its fancy, well-lit atmosphere, excellent architecture, and well-dressed customers, we ordered a “smoked old-fashioned” on the menu and two appetizers, fried pickles and mozzarella sticks. After probing about the chicken broccoli Alfredo, the service staff informed us some people say the sauce is a little on the watery side. Once we received the drinks and apps, I was immediately disappointed in the color and presentation of the old-fashioned. The color was of a watered-down fruit punch and instead of an orange peel, one-half of an orange was in the glass along with a maraschino cherry hiding under the ice instead of a luxardo cherry. It was better than most dive bars old fashioned, but nothing I expected from such a gorgeous place with higher-end prices. We were slightly concerned with the astronomically extensive menu, which had everything under the sun from American to Mexican to Mediterranean and Italian. The restaurant clearly suffers from an identity crisis. The appetizers had minimal visual appeal, and that was only surpassed by the horrible taste of burned overcooked, fried pickles, and undercooked greasy mozzarella sticks in a bed of machine-cut lettuce soaked in fryer grease. Both sauces for the mozzarella sticks and fried picked came in cheap plastic containers, had no flavor, while maintaining the quality of a expired BJ’s wholesale product on sale. The bill was 46$, and it was an expensive lesson I will never learn again. No complaints about the waitress, who was very attentive.”
