“We stopped by Mercy Tavern for a lovely lunch. The food was amazing! We were seated immediately. Ordered a Reuben and a Lobster Roll, both which were served with Garlic Fries, and both were delicious. We didn't have any complaints about the quality of food or how amazing it was. The service was slow though, and our drinks were not refilled. The server was pleasant, but slow and not very attentive. But that shouldn't bring down the fact that the food was very good - maybe next time I will just order two drinks at a time so I don't have to wait.”

“I think the noodles here are usually thick, but if you don't like thick noodles, I don't recommend them. Because they play separately with the sauce, they taste like undercooked flour. (Of course, they're all cooked) And it's a restaurant that entered with joy, but please note that the employee's blunt speech may make you feel bad. “We came here after an amazing time at their sister restaurant Maggie’s Farm. This must be the baby sister to Maggie because she didn’t hit it on all cylinders. It might have been because they were so slow that day. I don’t know. The fried food was a little under done and we ran out of tea twice. The server was nice just not attentive. We would be willing to try again, maybe in the evening when it’s more busy.”

“The food is great with reasonable portions and prices. However, the holiday drinks were a letdown. We ordered two holiday drinks and found them excessively sweet. Even after waiting for the ice to melt half, they were still too sweet. Could be the syrup or it is meant to be that sweet. My friend, a regular visitor, felt the same about her drink. When we informed our server about the issue, no solution was offered, such as replacing or returning the drinks. Disappointingly, we were still charged for them. To be fair, the other drink we ordered from the regular menu tasted better.”

”It's a fine dining restaurant. The ambience is great and service is decent. It's a busy place and there was about 10-15 minutes wait time when we visited this place. Not a suggested place for vegetarian folks. A two star rating is due to the lack of vegetarian options. I would say it's a biased review and I had a limited number of veg options to choose from. And most of the available vegetarian options contain mushrooms which further narrowed down the scope. My friends enjoyed the place. Apparently the rest of the menu is good. Another reason for a low rating is the pricing. The food is not great and it cost me about $27 for a vegetable delight and spring rolls. Rice costs you extra.”

Now this is a different take than what I’m used to on salt and paper calamari; the vegetables and calamari pieces were bigger and very flavorful. I think I like this take on it. I recommend it!”

”Just had a phenomenal meal here with my family! We tried a ton of different dishes and I think we’d order almost everything again. The pork buns were great, the tuna crispy rice was great, the k-fries were probably our favorite appetizer, and I LOVED the short ribs. We also had great drinks (one of the best painkillers I’ve had!). Our server Ceili was super attentive and friendly, checking in on us to see if we needed anything and refilling our waters frequently. The only thing I wouldn’t recommend are the Brussels sprouts and I didn’t love the chocolate desserts.”

The chicken dish I ordered was so chewy and coated that I could barely tell it was chicken. It was supposed to be spicy but had no spice to it at all. I also ordered a vegetable dish that ended up coming with meat in it. The crab rangoons were still good, but I don’t think I’d come here again.”

”Used to order here often, but recently food got worse. Last 2 orders were completely disappointing. One time i ordered bbq ribs, it was completely burned, like charchole black, couldn't eat just trashed it. Next one was fried rice with chicken and asked to add extra veggies, but instead of that I got rice with sprouts and onions that tasted spoiled. I don't know if it's better to eat inside, but do not order "to-go" orders. Not gonna recommend this place anymore.”

”It was empty when we went at dinner opening (5 PM) on a Sunday. The inside has a huge mural that looks great in photos and really adds to the ambiance. We ordered five dishes to share amongst three people. I liked the roasted duck salad and red braised baby back ribs the most. Both were very flavorful. The laksa lemak was a letdown; would not recommend. The aceh chicken gulai kurma had a nice coconut flavor, and the singapore chili beef was okay and not that spicy. We also had to pay extra for rice since none of the dishes came with rice. My friends also got the honey and lime and virgin watermelon mojito drinks. The mojito looked nothing like the pictures we saw, and we ended up discarding the drink after a few sips because it was not good. Even with five dishes, we were still a bit hungry afterward, which was disappointing for the price. Probably wouldn't come here again.”

”My husband and I were in Rockport to do a little Christmas shopping, and we found this gem of a restaurant. We were warmly welcomed by the co-owner into their beautiful space set right on the ocean. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, and our lunches were yummy. I had a grilled fruit salad (a special)and savored every bit of it. My husband had their clam chowder and burger plate and he thoroughly enjoyed it as well. He gave me a taste of the chowder and hands down it is my favorite chowder in New England. Delicious!
