“Overall this is quite a good artisan pizza spot - chewy crust, great flavors/toppings, and fun cocktails. The food came out unbelievably fast - but it took a long time to get the server's attention because we sat by the door and they didn't see us. We had to go ask the hostess to get the server after waiting about 20 minutes. This is the reason for the 2/5 stars for atmosphere and 1 star removed from overall rating. The calamari was my favorite appetizer - light and perfectly fried. We enjoyed the meatballs - tender and well sauced. We went as a 6 person group and tried 5 pizzas and loved them all, especially the almondine one. That was fantastic and unique. The crusts were perfect but the middles were a little soggy so that could be improved. The salads were all fresh and delicious though on the sweeter side. The cocktails were interesting and fun and I'd go again to try a few others! I'd recommend this for an upscale sit-down pizza spot with some variety. We did not have the pasta so we cannot comment on it but we'll be back to try it! Lastly, the desserts were excellent. We got the tiramisu and the chocolate cake and they were decadent and perfect. We'd come back just for them. The tiramisu was so fluffy and light. Oof!”

“I’ve been wanting to try this place for a long time and I finally did. The food was amazing!! We had the meat lovers pizza, the chicken parm w penne, black pepper fettuccine and the bruschetta. This is like having North End quality right in our own backyard (we were home in 5 minutes). The food tasted so fresh, the chicken parm was huge & tasted wonderful, everything was excellent!! I can’t wait to return 🙂”

“I had dinner at Ella’s last evening & found it to be a great experience. I order the Beef Tallow Fries to start; which were amazing! For my entree, I ordered the Fresh Mozzarella Pizza, which came out quickly. It was also delicious. The atmosphere was pleasant as each table had lit tea light candles. My server, Jordan, was very nice and attentive. The parking lot was full, but there’s parking available at the farm stand next door.”

“We did Anzios Pizza Truck for our wedding reception and we are so glad we did. The owner is easy to work with. even though it rained all day they were able to set up the food truck outside with an easy up. They had a worker running the pizzas inside and working his butt off in the rain. Everything turned out great though. My husband is a pizza snob from New Haven CT and he felt the pizza was up to his standards. Our guests loved the pizza. It was so good. They also gave us a bunch of extra pizzas to take home at the end of the night. We also had some gluten-free guests and they were able to make gluten-free pizza or bring gluten-free pasta dishes for celiac guests. The pasta was also really good. They were fabulous to work with, and the food was so good and affordable for our wedding reception. Save your money on traditional wedding catering and do this fun and delicious pizza truck or catering from their restaurant!! Highly recommend using the pizza truck for any event!!”

”This is just a burger and pizza place. Everything else is like a Bickfords in that most everything is frozen and not fresh. We were a party of four on a Saturday night. The kitchen was very much behind on everything, and our hostess did keep us updated, which was helpful. The salmon and meatloaf steak tips were overly cooked and not edible. The manager comped some of our food, which we thank him for. The deserts would be a 2.5. I gave them a 3 for atmosphere, and it wasn't their fault, but they could have said something to the parents that allowed their kids to run around like it was Chucky Cheese. Why parents can't control their kids makes for a very uncomfortable evening. We prayed that nobody would get hurt as the kids were funny up and down the aisles where people and staff were moving hot food. So, if we ever go there again, it will be just a hamburger or a pizza and drinks. Responding to your reply: When you respond using personal attacks, that certainly tells me about your character. Had you responded professionally, I would have removed my review, and the fact that you mentioned my friend's name on a public forum shows that you sir should never be in a manager's role. That was unprofessional and out of line. My friend thought the wings were okay, but he ordered medium-rare steak tips, which were well done. He is not one to complain, so he didn't say anything to you about it. I did say in my review that you comped us, which was much appreciated, and that our server kept us up to date on what was happening in the kitchen. She was very kind and pleasant too. We gave her a 25% tip from the total amount before you comp'd portions of our meal. My review was about the food and quality (or lack thereof). There are just some things that you need to prepare better. You should take the salmon off your menu. Lastly, I have been in retail management for over 30 years, and I have responded to many good and bad reviews. However, I have never lowered myself to the level that you have by posting such a hateful and damaging response. If one of my managers had responded as you did, I would have either suspended him, written him up, or even fired him. I am sure that the owners of the Brickyard would have had you respond with empathy rather than in an immature and defensive way. Remember that everything that you do is a reflection of the whole business.”

Our waitress was good but she didn't check back after our food was delivered and we had to ask for more water, etc. The burgers here are amazing. The wings were the best I've had in a long time because they have lots of meat on them. The buffallo chicken wrap was great. The fries were a little bland. ”Honestly, just the customer service alone would have won me over. But the customer service combined with the food AND the ambiance/aesthetic? Phenomenal. They’re so nice, and patient (a plus when you’re indecisive and basically ask them for their suggestions to be your entire order). The fries? Amazing. I’d eat them every day and still crave them. What I do know is that I live 2 miles away, a whole whopping 8 minutes, but I am considered 'too far' because their computer system doesn't register the address as within their zone. What, exactly, is your delivery area, if 2 miles is too far for you to deliver? Staff was polite, but the only answer I got was "The computer. I don't know.", polite, but unhelpful on a day when I'm run ragged and really don't want to crawl out of my cave to go pickup what should be deliverable. From the age of 3 and 30+ years later I occasionally stop back by because it just doesn’t get better than this. What makes someone fly cross country for pizza? The crust is just right and the sauce delicious. Cheese perfectly melted, and the toppings are of quality. Just the right amount of grease… not too much nor too dry.
