“We had a wonderful thanksgiving weekend at the resort. We upgraded our room to a signature suite with water views. Our room was beautifully decorated with a fireplace, comfortable and well worth the extra charge. The food and service was stellar. From room service to eating at Twenty Eight Atlantic, we indulged in fresh seafood and unique cocktails. Special thanks to Gerri who was kind and thoughtful to offer us snacks and water for our trip back to the airport. 5-star experience!”

“Salem Cross Inn is definitely a special occasion place. It has a tiny tavern in the basement with a small intimate bar near a cozy fireplace that looks out onto the endless pastures & wildflower gardens. Evan always checks in to make sure you’re taken care of. Tyler & Heather the bartenders are extremely hospitable & always remember you. They have a lovely ever changing specials menu along with their standard options that are difficult enough to pick from as they are all so amazing. The Duck is crispy & decadent , the catfish ( a special ) melted in your mouth accompanied by jalapeño cheddar grits!!! Every dinner comes with their delectable squash muffins ( which are great for breakfast with coffee!). They have an amazing Caesar salad -perfectly dressed. If you are looking for a cozy date night place with attention to detail you will not be disappointed!”

“My family booked this location for a less than happy occasion. We were burying my father. My mom wanted a venue for his celebration of life where those of us traveling from some distance would have a convenient place to stay and gather together. This hotel was that, and so much more. Our entire family was able to be together, which would have been enough, but the staff? Words can't accurately describe how incredible everyone was. They were so kind and attentive to the needs of every single family member. Rose, Noah, and several others whose names I can't remember really went above and beyond for us. Every single staff member we interacted with was exceptional from front desk, to housekeeping, to restaurant. I've stayed in a lot of hotels, and the actual property is pretty. The rooms were clean, and the outdoor space highlighted New England autumn beautifully, but it was truly the staff that made this place stand out as exceptional. Huge thank you to every member of the team! You made my mom cry happy tears more times than I could count, and turned this unhappy occasion into something I can remember with a smile.”

“If I had the choice I'd rate the Kendall 4.5. My king superior room was plenty spacious, comfortable and quiet. I took advantage of the ability to visit the Cambridge Athletic Club. The nightly happy hour is a nice touch but, then again, it's the same two pours and roasted nuts every night. Ditto with breakfast, which has been mentioned in this space, becomes monotonous after a couple of days. Same everything from the choice of two teas, to the mini cranberry scones, to the scrambled eggs, etc. By my third morning I made other breakfast arrangements because I just couldn't get excited about the bowl of muesli (no other cereal choices). The missing element was hospitality. The place feels very transactional. When I saw a staff member I never saw a smile or got a warm welcome. The hotel needs to work on that.”

”This place was phenomenal! The service we got as of our arrival was excellent. I had mentioned in our reservation that we were with Autocamp Cape Cod on our honeymoon and they didn’t fail to deliver a wonderful experience! Upon arrival at our Airstream we were greeted by a bottle of sparkling cider, 2 glasses and a wonderful note from the staff wishing us a happy honeymoon! Also we adored the supper for 2 that the we can cook over our fire pit. The sides were prepared in advance, all we needed to cook our protein and heat up the sides and voila! Supper for 2 at our campsite! Wonderful stay, we will definitely be back!”

”The room, a "suite," was large with an area near the door with a microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker (none of which we used). The bed was comfortable. The room was clean and quiet. The breakfast was adequate and the woman who was tending to things was very good at keeping it stocked and was friendly. The other staff was nice as well. The exercise room had a recumbent bike, a Peloton and a treadmill and they all worked. There were weights and another guest noted there was no bench for using with the weights. All in all, it was a good place to stay at a reasonable price.”

”Absolutely amazing hotel. We were greeted by a very lovely front of the house lady who did our check in for us. Our room was very spacious, well equipped and cozy. The hotel had an amazing view of the harbour. There is a laundry room which we used, extremely handy, both washing machines and dryers all clean and fairly new( you need coins) There is a gym as well, lovely sitting area with a terrace upstairs and downstairs, there is a little shop with all essentials that you may need( laundry detergent as well), a restaurant with a waiter-robot :). But what really made me very happy about our stay in the hotel was the gluten free bread and rolls during breakfast. As a coeliac- thank you so much. I don’t get much gluten free hotel breakfast experience so I am super grateful. It is also worth mentioning that the airport bus stop is behind the hotel and it is a 10-20 minute ride which is super helpful. All in all we had an amazing stay, thank you to all the staff for their hospitality.”

”Second time in span of two months staying at this hotel as it is close to sons school with reasonable priced rooms though a bit on the smaller side. Hotel is clean, well maintained and location is good. They have breakfast in the morning that is complimentary. Do not hear much of the outside noise being that you have train and streets surrounding the hotel. White noise machine provided in rooms. My only two issues with this hotel is that both times when I checked into my room, the air was never on so the rooms were very muggy and hot. Took a bit to get it to comfortable temperature. Second, issue is the $40 parking charge and the fact that if you do not get a spot early, good luck fitting your can anywhere. If you lucky enough to get a corner spot anywhere in the lot, don't move your car. I will give credit to one of the staff members that came out late night and directed me to park right on the other side of the parking lot as she saw no one else was fitting their car anywhere.”

”Stayed one night at this location. Rooms were clean but had to put up our own shower curtain on the rod (surprising!) Then, strangely enough, when we turned off all the lights and were in bed, there was active light on the bedspread, maybe static electricity? Very strange. Breakfast was super, staff was very friendly and helpful to get us coffee. In the morning, during typical checkout time, no one was staffing the front desk. Keep up the good work, and take care of your employees as I am sure they are hard to find these days.”
