The free breakfast was wonderful. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Location was great, very close to 95. “We were there in December, not a peak time but I'll admit I was really disappointed the indoor hot-tub and pool were closed. I really wanted a hot tub. So if that's important to you call first!! Aside from that, the room was very nice!! Wonderfully ample and super fluffy pillows. It's nicely kept. Outside our room was a cute porch and beautifully maintained courtyard with a firepit/burn barrel, several BBQ grills and etc. Really cute. I could easily see someone renting out the wing with family in the warmer months.”

”Perfect area to be close enough to Boston, Salem, etc without being too far. Our room had a full kitchen, couch, dining table, workspace, great shower, etc. Breakfast was always good. The people at the front desk were always super helpful. Target is very close by, as well as many food options. I'll stay here again if I ever end up that way.”

”Room was fine except the sudden clock alarm at 4am that I couldn't figure out how to shut off. I couldn't even pull the plug easily because of was under the bed. Your could hear the noise from the highway as mentioned in other reviews but it was not so loud that it was disruptive, more of a constant white noise. Bathroom seemed clean until I went to shower and saw hair in the on the wall. The fridge seemed high tech with an on/of button and a quick freeze option so I wasn't positive if it was working when I put leftovers inside. Breakfast in the bistro was good but a little pricy for what it was. I was concerned when I heard the woman mention going next door to Holiday Inn to get bacon since I know those buffets are low quality and I was paying for "farm fresh" . Very friendly guys working there.”

”On Monday Dec. 18 we lost power at 10:30am. It wasn’t that cold yet so we spent the nite at home. On Tuesday it started to get colder at night so I called the Hampton Inn/ Franklin. I talked to a very rude person called Michael asked him how much an overnight stay was. He said it was $169 at the moment. He said he had availability. We got some belongings together and a half hour later showed up at the hotel. Michael was at the desk. He asked my last name, I told him, he said I don’t see your name on the reservation list. I told him he didn’t ask my name when I called. He said I hung up on him before he asked my name. Why in the world would I hang up being so desperate for a good nights sleep. He said he has a room at $198. What a con artist. He wouldn’t honor the $169 price he quoted me on the phone. I told him forget it and left. That place was horrible. It smelled awful walking in the door. We finally found a room in the Hilton in Dedham. They were so pleasant. Unlike Hampton/Franklin hotel.”

”Overall would give it zero stars. Absolutely disgusting. Hallways smelled like garbage, seafood, rotten milk and cooking smells. Sketchy vibe. Hallway garbage cans were over filled. Floors were dirty. Our room was actually nice, the bed was comfortable, but we left after only two days due to the smell and the sketchiness. Only felt safe in our room with the door locked. Gym facility looked okay, but I wouldn’t use it no towels or sanitizer spray on top of the horrible smells in the hallways. When we were about to leave our room to checkout housekeeping knocked on our door, we told them that we were vacating the room in two minutes. They knocked again and insisted that they come in to check the fire alarm. Once in the room they said this will take only two seconds and they proceeded to set the fire alarm off repeatedly. We quickly grabbed our stuff and left. Went and stayed at a much better Hilton hotel in the next town. Never will stay at any Homewood Suites again! First and last time for me.”

”This is the worst Hilton I've stayed at. I understand the rates are super high due to season and being competitive, but these 3 nights were definitely NOT worth $1500. It was a major disappointment with each new discovery. We decided to stay here because it was supposed to be near Salem and it was a Hilton. The drive to downtown was nice and the views were great, but the hotel itself was a major disappointment and dirty compared to what I'm used to. The room itself did not accurately reflect the images when we spent copious amounts of time searching for the perfect hotel. We're just going to stay in Downtown Salem next time and skip the hotel. There was not much light in the room itself and only had tiny lamps. The couch could not be sat on. We thought it would be a nice shower and stay but it was disappointing. The front staff were really great people and friendly. They don't have anything to do with the upkeep and maintenance. If we're going to spend $1500 on 3 nights, it should be more memorable than what we were left with.”

”Had a great experience at this Hyatt. Duke who works the PM shift was amazing and very professional and courteous. We stayed a few nights and halfway through the house keeper knocked and offered a fresh set of towels which we thought was amazing. The inner courtyard is perfect for walking small dogs safely at all times of day. The outer perimeter also has enough landscaping to easily walk your larger dogs quickly. Breakfast was typical for a Hyatt and everything was kept fresh and stocked. Outdoor pool is only open during the warmest months if ever.”

”Excellent Homewood Suites by Hilton located in Hadley, Massachusetts, just off of Route 9. It was the first time that I had ever stayed at this particular Hilton property. It was only built back in 2019, so everything looks and feels new, as it should. The standard room was extremely spacious with a kitchen area that included a full-size refrigerator, stove top, sink, and all kinds of needed kitchen utensils, glasses, pots and pans, etc. Built in Microwave over stove top, plus toaster. Desk with table light for any business needs. Rooms come with either a King Size Bed or 2 Queen Size Beds. Rooms include a sofa and table, and another table with a TV. The bathroom featured a walk-in shower and toilet in a separate room, with a vanity and sink just outside that room. Nice size closet opposite the vanity. The hotel is beautiful and includes a hot breakfast every morning. What I liked best about it, besides it being so new and clean, was how quiet the room was and the location. Plenty of parking as it shares a shopping plaza with several types of stores, which is not the typical location that one would normally find a Hotel located at, which are usually located near a busy and noisy highway. There are plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. 15 minutes to Northampton and 10 minutes to Amherst or UMASS. The staff were friendly and professional, as expected in all Hilton properties. You certainly won't go wrong at this location. Highly recommended!!!”

”Enjoy the experience of a dilapidated building... for $200 per night. But wait, act now and get shady characters (not under the control of the hotel, I realize that) and outside and inside room doors that have to be pulled to latch. So the outer door to the hallway was always open. Marvel at the hastily installed shoring that hopefully supports the concrete, chipped paint walkways... This place is the epitome of run down. It looks like it should be condemned - and it's really awful. 2 stars because the room I got wasn't that bad, and the front desk staff was friendly. Housekeeping was loud. They could get another star if this place was $60 per night, but it's not - $200 per night to see peeling wallpaper, aluminum carpet joint strips not bolted to the floor, rotten wood, and mud. See the pictures... It's not pleasant outside the room (which could be picked apart at that price point, but no sense in piling on). I accidentally showed up at the other Residence Inn because I didn't pay attention to where I booked, and they thought this one had been closed. That should have told me something... The area is generally blighted, and nearby hotels in the immediate vicinity are bad (unless you like to experience the opioid epidemic up close and personal). Do yourself a favor and find a hotel 5 miles away in any direction. I can't imagine this place will be open much longer. There is a Cracker Barrel next door that can be walked to. (I had to say something nice). In short, find another hotel. This is a disgrace to Marriott. (The nearby Holiday Inn express is a disgrace to IHG, so it seems to be the general area).”
