”I too had nothing but wonderful things to say about this vet until 2 days ago. We had taken multiple budgies and a hedgehog here. But when one of our budgies within 24 hours developed a bleeding raw spot on one of her legs, I was told the earliest appointment they had was 10 days later because even though I was a previous client they had never seen this bird before (she was a shelter rescue we'd had for a year). We took her to an emergency vet whose "care" caused her to die from stress in my daughter's hands on the car ride home. I have spent thousands of dollars on routine and emergency veterinary care over the years for cats, dogs, horses, budgies, etc. and while certainly on many occasions received excellent care - like this vet - have also had multiple horrible experiences. Botched surgery that killed a healthy 8 month old Lab from peritonitis. A vet who never showed up for an appointment to help our dying 20 year old cat have a peaceful end. Sadly I could go on. I'm angry and tired of the suffering and loss we and our beloved pets have experienced from callous policies and malpractice. **To reiterate and clarify based on this business's reply: I did not request a same day appointment. After communicating how quickly the bird's condition had gotten severe I was offered an appointment 10 days later. The only thing I asked was why, when we were a previous client, we had to wait that long: because we hadn't brought the bird in before. I had never been told this before. I got a recommendation for an emergency vet, thanked your staff and ended the call because the 10 day wait and policy sent a clear message: if we had brought the bird in when she was well we would have been prioritized when she needed care.”

”Our sweet 6 yr old German shepherd Benny boy died August 29th 2023 on his way to the emergency vet due to steroid medication this Kelly veterinarian clinic in Adrian gave him for his perianal fistula. Benny has had this disease for years and have put him on this steroid in the past but soon learned it was wreaking havoc on his liver. He lost weight, hair, getting sick and was not himself. So we quickly got him off that. This new staff put him on this steroid again disregarding my ex’s concern and argument that it caused him to be sick in the past. They told him there was nothing to worry about that it would be fine because the frequency and timeline would be shorter. It wasn’t fine. He started to lose weight and hair again so he stopped giving it to him, leading up to his vet appointment but it was too late. Our baby died because of this vets incompetence. Please choose a different vet office, I don’t want this to happen to anybody else’s baby.💔”

”The support staff are friendly and welcoming. The vets are awful. My little dog is quite fearful at the vet. They muzzled her and in order to examine her abdomen, the vet grabbed her by her feet and flipped her on her side. She was so frightened she released her anal glands. The vet got visibly angry and left the room and didn’t come back. At the end of the visit, I still had no idea what was wrong with my dog. An awful experience. We won’t be going back.”

”Last Saturday our sweet boy Astro passed away on the way to the hospital before we arrived. The two women who were sitting at the front desk were so comforting and kind. They brought him in, cleaned him up, and provided him and I a room to grieve. We decided to do a home burial and they prepared him to go back home with me. I was provided with a paw print with his name on it as a keepsake and they truly made the experience so much more comforting I am so grateful to them what wonderful staff they have there. ”I hesitated on writing this review but I urge against bringing your reptile here. I am a medical student. Here are the reasons: 1) Vet tech miscalculated my chameleon's weight to be 10 times heavier than he is, and thus gave ceftazidime in 10 times higher dose than indicated for him, which I gave for a month. I found this out the next time he needed this med and the dosage was different. This antibiotic is nephrotoxic. No one brought this up until I asked and no one apologized. 2) 2 months later, his renal insufficiency became evident as he developed various symptoms. They recommended culturing the abscess which I did. When I called for the result a week later, the tech said it's negative, and she said it means either it was aseptic or the truck was too hot and killed all organisms... I believe the vet facility holds the responsibility to ensure an adequate transportation system. 3) Recently, I dropped off Millie just to get stitches out that was done in ER and later received a voicemail (without a call) recommending euthanasia because it would be "unfair of us to keep pushing him". I did not expect this let alone hear it over voicemail and walked out of my lectures in tears. Both when I called back and when I went to pick him up, they repeatedly asked if I was sure of not euthanizing. The night before, Millie ate a handful of crickets and walked around outside which he loves to do. Did not appear to be in pain or distress. -I've spent over $1000 here for many of the tests they recommended, but received no diagnosis. -The picture attached is Millie today. He has been recovering well and has been enjoying the outdoors and hanging with my bearded dragon. Enjoying his life. -I've had Millie for 4 years and he traveled across the country with me. He is my first pet. He may be small but is a part of my family, and I am upset and disappointed by the way he was treated.”

It costs $120 on Chewy but they won't work with them or answer their request for the prescription and pet information so I have to spend $220 at their pharmacy. They are never willing to work with you on pricing or payment plans. Also will coerce you into getting unnecessary tests you don't need. They are a clean facility and they seem like decent people by the way they treat their patients but it's because they are happy to making bank off insane up charges. Unless you want to waste money don't go here.”

”They don't even deserve 1 star. A girl called me to let me know I was approved on Feb.13 @ 8:46. The called lasted almost 6 minutes. During that call she said there were several kittens available, but they had to be fixed first on Friday the 16th. I asked if I could come in and pick one out before then. She said no. I asked when are they available? She said Saturday. We made an appointment for 9am. I asked how long it took and she said about 10-15 minutes. I said great because I had to work at 10. Then ended the call with I'll see you at 9 then. Saturday @ 9am we arrive: 1. They said they don't take appointments till noon. 2. They said they don't make calls to people before 9 and I showed my phone as proof the girl called at 8:46. 3. They said they have only one kitten and it isn't fixed yet. All the other kittens were adopted or held through the week. The same week that I was told "no, I couldn't do that". 4. We left without a kitten(s). Very very angry at the incompetence of the staff that were defending their rules but this person that called me apparently told me whatever she wanted.”
