“A really great pizzeria in the upper lower peninsula of Michigan. We came as a large group after an event and it was a little over an hour till close and they still sat us right away and told us we didn't need to rush, this was the start of our fantastic service. Our server was amazing. The pizzas were really great. We didn't have any non pizzas from the menu but I bet they would have been great too. They do monthly specials and we had the sweet & sour chicken pizza, it was great. I highly recommend Mio Pizza Shop. We'll be back next year for sure.”

“Tried a couple of pizzas and added a Greek salad at pick up. They made the salad fresh when we ordered it, so, that's nice. We tried the pickle pizza and it must be an acquired taste. It was good but I'd add something, I'm not sure what yet. The pepperoni pizza was good. Everything was fresh and the kids working at night keep the place tidy. There was some confusion about what we paid and what we owed, but it got hashed out. Overall, we liked it and would return. Food was like 4.5 but I rounded up.”

”Cool little joint just off the 196 freeway, we're new to GR so we're trying some of the so called 'standards' of the area and this gem didn't disappoint. I would suggest you make reservations, at least on the weekend as it got busy quickly around 6pm and it's not that big of a restaurant in the first place. Nice ambience, cozy, low ceilings, full bar. The staff was super nice and friendly too. We had the Fettuccini Alfredo & Chicken Divan. Their unlimited garlic bread was good, nice crust on the outside and soft on the inside. The only complaint I'd have, and it's not a big one, but their dinner salads leave a lot to be desired. You get iceberg lettuce, some shredded carrot and 1 cherry tomato - exactly 1 tomato. It looks like they used to have a salad bar, looked to be covered up with white cloths. If they bring that back, I'd give it a solid 5 stars, but for now, a pretty solid 4.”

”First time here...looked it up online, was a bit concerned about the pricing for the pasta, but wanted to check it out. First, service was excellent...super friendly, prompt and lots of great suggestions and when I mentioned I was thinking about a pasta, she advised right away that the pasta dishes are basically double portions, which took care of my pricing concerns. So I ordered the Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and "2 Meatballs" which I assumed meant the meatballs would be huge. This would be the ONLY part of the meal I found disappointing, the meatballs were just normal average size, would have welcomed a few more. That being said, the pasta dish was massive. The meat sauce was tasty, home made, slightly just the right amount of greasy and thick and delicious. And she was right, I was hungry, needed some comfort food and didn't think there was a chance I'd have leftovers, yet here I am at home with a bag in my fridge for lunch tomorrow. I happily give this spot a ⭐ 5 Star ⭐ review and plan on checking out what looks like a delicious pizza menu in the new year. Thanks Romas!!”

We don't have bugs in our kitchen so..." Basically placing the blame on us for having a BUG. BAKED. into our pizza. He was not friendly at all. Said he wasn't sure what we wanted them to do about it. After eating at this place we cannot wait to go back. The pizza is some of the best pizza we have had in the area. I also loved the chili. Chicken Caesar salad, with no chicken or dressing. Garlic herb pizza crust that had no garlic herb. Large pepperoni pizza looked/tasted like it had sat in a warmer for half the day. The employees were extremely polite and helpful, which is the only reason this review isn't lower. If you're hungry on a Saturday night, it might be a good idea to choose somewhere else.”
