“I love so much about Dyno. I've made lifelong friends, rediscovered my love of climbing, gotten in great shape, and found my home away from home here. The routes are reset on a fairly regular basis, with a great mix of styles. The employees are friendly and clearly passionate about climbing. The fitness area is well equipped. The monthly membership is a reasonable price. I wish they were open earlier on the weekends, it gets pretty crowded with kids/families.”

“Used to be a favorite place , but the new changes have made it impossible to there with young children. Older children were climbing on top of the bounce house and jumping into them , we have always had to somewhat watch out for older children because there is no supervision. But since they got rid of the toddler area it’s impossible to have kinds under the age of 5 there . My niece who is 8 was even complaining about being “body slammed” by older children . We were told it was due to a staffing shortage , but at what point is children’s safety less important than having to walk away from the front desk for a minute. And even once there were more employees on the premises nothing changed about how the older children were being aloud to rough house . We had to leave due to the potential for injuries to our kids. We will not be returning. Which is sad because punch cards are one of our children’s favorite presents they get at Christmas.”

”My husband and I have been buying our shoes here for almost 4 years now. We genuinely enjoy the service and the selection for running shoes is large. We use the shoes for work so we swap them out every 6-7 months. The last couple trips to the store they were out of the size for the first couple shoes we picked out for him which was disappointing. We still settled for a shoe that worked out well so that is good. And the return policy is within 60 days so it was reassuring for us when we had to buy a brand we were unfamiliar with due to them not having the size in the shoe we were looking for. Additionally, if you purchase something as their rewards member your must use the reward within 6 months and although we buy shoes about twice a year we always miss the rewards deadline because more often then not it’s 7 months before we make it back, so that’s kinda disappointing. Overall it’s a good place and I’m going to keep coming back because I like the brands they offer, the selection, and the service.”

Owners are very professional and if there’s maintenance issues they are very quick to respond and get things fixed. Truly feels like home. ”I last worked out here in 2018. The Black Card membership was really nice to have during my years in school as I could lift at the Planet Fitness in Lansing and also in Saginaw. The gym was always satisfactory, I just couldn't handle the purple and yellow anymore. Also, I wanted to bench, squat, etc. with free weights. With the gym, though, you get what you put in and PF has all the tools one needs for a satisfactory workout. The tanning and Red Light Therapy was also nice as features with the Black Card membership. The purple/yellow atmosphere is overwhelming just to think about, otherwise I might consider rejoining. For the price, though, it's simply the best value gym in Saginaw.”

”My boyfriend and I went to this gym today at 2:30pm to check it out. I moved to the area last year and did quite a bit of rock climbing in different parks and rock climbing gyms. The guy who worked the front desk did not make us feel welcomed at all. He was busy helping other customers with a belay lesson. We were patient and just looked around the gym. When he got the time for us he asked us if we needed anything. I explained how we were looking for a climbing gym. His first response was, "first off, we're not a climbing gym, we're a "climbers" gym. You need to know how to belay, you can't just come here and climb." I assured him that I knew how to belay and worked as an outdoor guide for years. He shrugged us off and didn't offer a tour or anything. I really had hopes of joining this gym but this guy really turned us off. Hoping others experience better customer service than we did.”

”The quality had declined substantially over the 5 years I was a member. The good: - Nice workout area. machines were usually in good repair. - While I never used the tennis or basketball courts they seemed great. The bad: -The childrens programming is terrible. there are virtually no inclusive classes for kids and very few for an additional fee. a no additional cost kids yoga or tumbling or something would have been great. -Deferred maintenance went on for years. the mens hot tub was out of commission for over a year. we get emails every few months saying "soon" but nothing changed. -New locker policy requiring suits in the locker room hot tub and cold splash are ridiculous. -When we first joined, tons of amenities were included, free coffee, hair products, razors. Most of that was gone after covid. The free coffee is being replaced by a not free starbucks. Another commenter mentioned that the limited leisure pool was regularly being used for water aerobics, kicking the kids out. this is absolutely true and infuriating. there are 3 other pools that are for the older members. let the kids have their pool. there isnt much else for them there And speaking of the pool, after covid the hours were completely unreliable. i get that staffing is a problem but make a schedule you can stick to and stick to it. It was very frustrating to get everyone ready, drive across town only to find out it was closed. and all this while rates kept going up. I was very sad to cancel my membership because I loved what it was when I first joined. the way it is now, you are better off saving a 100 a month and just go to the YMCA. there isnt much difference these days.”

AMENITIES 👍- golf range area there. Proshop has food and drinks and beer cart girl in the course as well. Good restaurant for food STAFF and MANAGEMENT 👍 starter and other staff members doing great job. Good customer service VALUE for THE MONEY 👍- it's bit expensive and for 18 holes it's $55+ on weekday but well maintained course pay off. PACE of the PLAY 👎🏿 Pace of the play need to improve and for the the price paying staff and tee times need to improve .”

”Its the closest one too me so I go here most often. Not kept the cleanest. At least family bathrooms are usually pretty gross. Family locker rooms are horrible every single day. The sauna. So disappointing most times. Its kept where the outside air is coldest so Everytime people open the door which is every 5 minutes, all the hot air goes out and generally does not stay as hot as most saunas. Unless you catch a random day when the older men sit in there for an hour and sweat atrociously to the point they empty their crocs full of sweat on to the benches where we sit. This location could definitely use some improvements and better regulation on the sauna or make separate ones in each locker room like the other locations. I find myself driving to Mary Free Bed just to escape the nauseousness of this place.”

Electronic target line took a minute to learn, once thst was down it was nice to be able to enter the distance we wanted to shot at and have the system take the target there. Didn't buy any guns, ammo, ammo was pretty expensive, but that has become somewhat normal these days.”

”I’ve been to so many gyms.. this one is one of the best I’ve been to. Spacious, clean, and a great layout of equipment. It does get really busy at times, but if you can get past that then this is the place to be. Great women’s area. Nice aesthetic. Tons of options for cardio and stretching. Whole room dedicated to athletic and functional type of training. If I lived in Windsor, I’d definitely choose this gym. Will be back when I’m in Windsor!”
