“Do you love cheese on your pizza? Have I got the place for you! I got more cheese on a single item pizza than many places give with extra/double cheese. I really appreciated how the crust didn’t lean toward more sweet than savory. It was still both, but a good balance. What really stood out to me, though, was the amazing service I received. The young lady who checked me out seemed to sense my nervousness getting food at a new place and she was very patient with me. When I made reference to a pizza place closer to my house, she talked about the roads near it and showed real, genuine concern about me making it home safe with my pizza. More than a lot of my friends did, honestly. It was just such a nice moment of sincerity and kindness. It’s always nice to find a place that allows its employees to be their genuine selves, and selects for good people. I’ll definitely have to come back here, but next time, I’ll order half cheese extra sauce. If you like lots of cheese or relatively little sauce, though, go default! You won’t regret it.”

”Our party of 6 arrived with a reservation and was immediately seated. Our server Diveen was friendly, took our humor in stride and was attentive. The atmosphere is upscale with a nice beer, wine and liquor menu highlighted with local flavor. The food menu is also filled with local flavor highlighted with whitefish, cherries and apples. The food was a bit too salty for my taste, but others thought it was fine. A relaxing night out for a good dinner.”

”One of Ann Arbor's oldest continually running locales and underappreciated gem. I would definitely contact them for reservations if you're with a large group, but otherwise this is a truly peaceful charming space. People of all ages and backgrounds are warmly welcomed, just read the signs, follow their instructions for how to order and pick up your food and beverages and lean in to the experience. My folks have been coming here since the late 70s, early 80s, and we are so glad that this gem is still around. My secret tip? Don't pass on the food - the prices are super affordable and the portions are huge. Plus the food good.”

The Parmesan truffle fries are better than Hop Doddy’s and theirs are good; the Parmesan truffle dip makes these fries some of the best I’ve ever eaten. Portions were huge! The freshly fried fish made these tacos really good; to get that Texan flavor they could use a few more toppings like a lemon wedge, cilantro, fresh hot salsa. The fish makes it good anyway you look at it. This restaurant has the best raspberry sweet tea, too!”

”This place I recommend. They have some dishes on the menu that are absolutely amazing. We try a new food from the menu every time we come. I highly recommend the pasta dishes and their dips. My boyfriend has loved their meat dishes we have tried. The nachos are layered just right so the chips beneath everything still has toppings! Service has always been good to us and we have always enjoyed our meals. If I had to not recommend something it would be the seared sashimi. Sashimi is supposed to be served raw. When it’s seared it’s just crusted on the outside and the fish is still very much raw. Ours came out completely cooked and it was very dry (see photo). Unfortunately with this dish, it is not as difficult to tell that it was cooked incorrectly and overcooked unlike something like an uncut steak. Thats my biggest concern at the fact the chef let this leave the kitchen cooked and plated the way it was. I hope they fix this so it is served correctly from now on because I believe it would have been amazing if cooked right.”
