It's close to Buckley, so it's a good spot to stay if you're going to the engine show. It's about 15 miles from Traverse City, which is far enough away to be out of the hub bub of that town.”

“The campground is nice overall. The bathrooms are clean and well maintained. There’s plenty of fun activities for the kids. We really enjoyed the tie dyeing, the jumping pillow/big playground, gem mining, waking up/bedtime with the bears, and the cartoons at night. There are free activities but it can get pricey if you do every activity or have multiple kids. $10 per person for visiting is expensive, per car would be more reasonable. The glow dance Saturday night was AWESOME! That was the highlight of the trip for me!”

”Great budget friendly hotel. Clean, comfortable and friendly helpful staff. We took kids on a mini vacation to the local water park and saved a ton by not staying at the park hotel. Plus they had a pool and hot tub to use at the hotel too. Breakfast was good with essentials. Homey feeling with live fireplace in lobby. Only thing I would think needs an upgrade is the pillows and office chair in our room. Washer and Dryer on site too, helpful for wet swimsuits/towels. Great location. Definitely would stay again.”

”This is a review of Fountain Point solely as an outdoor concert venue. I attended the '22 & '23 Lyrics 'round the Lake singer/songwriter concerts. Love the concept & the artists! Great format, though maybe the artists should play their known hit(s) sooner in the set, along with stories about those hits, to get the audience going sooner. Also the sight lines this year on the audience's left weren't good, as approximately 30% of the audience couldn't see the singer on their left (Marc Broussard), or the violinist sitting near him, because a speaker was blocking their view. Ticket price is apparently too high as it looked like there were less patrons than last year. Hope you continue tweaking things & do it again next year!”

”I had the pleasure of staying for a quick overnight trip last week. I was pleasantly surprised! The room was very nicely decorated. There seems to have been a lot of attention paid to details. I loved it! We went down to the bar for a couple of drinks and appetizers. The bar area was just as nice! The food, however, was not! I would have thought that such a nice hotel would a least have decent food, it was barely edible. You would do better to not offer any food at all. I would definitely stay again, but I would go elsewhere for something to eat.”
