”I am sick of self checkout being all that is available in the early hours & of the terrible way the staff treat customers when they need assistance. I go early because the Lapeer Kroger runs out of items I regularly purchase, if I don’t go early. I have found, too often, this early staff are the worst. They are too “busy” fussing around with nothing to be bothered helping a customer. Time & time again, I have walked out in tears from the way I was treated. Well, this is the last time. I left my groceries behind & walked out & will not be back! I have been shopping the Lapeer Kroger for many years, but now I am done. Customer service is 100% the reason I will be shopping elsewhere.”

But today was different October 16th 2023, I’m not sure which transgender twin it was but they smelled strongly of weed, you could tell he just smoked it, his voice was raspy and he was clearly out of it. I’ve never felt more disgusted. On top of that I’m allergic to weed and the smell of it makes me break out in hives and make me very nauseous. I’m very disappointed in this kind of behavior. I get work can be stressful but smoking weed while you still have to help customers is disgusting.”

”Overall this Kroger is pretty bad. The workers are horrible with costumer service, and most of the time they stand around talking. Products are usually not stocked properly. The atmosphere is quite dirty. This Kroger decided to get rid of lanes to add more self checkouts that usually never work, or are closed. Even when they work the workers are extremely unhelpful. I've spent thousands of dollars at this location, and recently had an employee tell another employee to watch out for me because I was a "thief". I have never stolen in my life, and never will! A comment like that from a employee in ear shot of a loyal customer is beyond ridiculous. I will be contacting corporate. I would never spend my money at this location unless it was absolutely needed.”
