The waitress was extremely accommodating. I took the bun off and thoroughly enjoyed the burger especially with the pepper jack cheese and jalapenos. The spicy mayo was so good.. not sure what brand chip dip they use but I could have bathed in it. Luckily I didn't 😂”

“I used to frequent this restaurant often. I moved from the area, so I haven’t visited in a year or so. I ordered through the app. When I arrived, the kid at the counter seemed unsure if my order was the one sitting half wrapped on the counter behind him. I asked because the pan looked pretty loaded for it to be a 20 piece whole wing order. He assured it was mine. After handing over my card, I look at the order, & it’s a bunch of thighs and drumsticks. I told him that’s not what I ordered and he calls another worker over. They advised me to wait, and they will remake my order. Mind you, I have other items. in the bag as well. So I oblige,even though I have my young children with me. I sat & waited 30 MINUTES. 30. The owner was present. I never got an apology, a remake of the rest of my things, not even an offer for a refill of my drink(which was gone after sitting & waiting). So not only did I have to wait way longer than expected, I had to reheat the cold fish and fries, macaroni and yams. Everything tasted disgusting, except for the wings. I was extremely disappointed to say the least & I will never return. The least I could’ve gotten was an apology. $52 down the drain. Never again.”

Called and spoke to the manager and was told they would send the correct pizza. I didn't touch the one i didn't order and waited for the new one for a hour and a half until well after they closed. Now im eating the wrong cold pizza. Absolutely the worst pizza experience i have ever had in my 44 years. Ok so i spoke to Katie today, she told me she will send one out to me and she didn't lie. Order extra of anything on a pizza and you won’t get what you paid for. Walk in the door and your mere presence seems to annoy everyone who works there. Basically, if you want consistently poorly made pizza made by grumpy people, this Hungry Howie’s is your go-to. But for me, I’m done with this train wreck.”

”Just talked on the phone with Molly, nighttime manager on 12/3/2023. Was on the phone for 21 minutes, put on hold 5 different times, and kept being told to just come pick up the sauces that we paid for ahead of time and weren’t given to us with our order. I insisted that I wouldn’t drive back and pay more in gas to get items we paid for when it was their fault they forgot it. Their excuse was they’re busy and short staffed and it took 20 minutes to get the manager on the phone because she was “too busy.” Finally she agreed to give me a refund for the sauces but said she had to refund the whole order and then charge us again for the pizzas with no sauces. Then immediately said she actually couldn’t do that and we either need to come get the sauces, or she’ll just put a credit on our account for a future visit. I told her I wasn’t satisfied with that and just wanted the refund and her response was, “I’m giving you free food, and it’s only like $1.50 worth of sauces…” and then proceeded to hang up on me immediately after processing the credit on the account. 0/10 unprofessional staff all around. Horrible customer service.”

Ordered an italian sub on the app and given choice of lettuce and tomato on the side or “No Thanks “, lettuce on side, tomato on side or finally no lettuce or tomato. One would think that by checking “No Thanks” that you wanted them on the sub. Obviously if you wanted neither you would check the no lettuce and tomato option. Since when has anyone ordered a sub anywhere in this country and everything is on the side?? Got home and no Italian dressing (included with an Italian sub ..duh!! ) Called the store and was told we ordered it wrong and they would only let us come back and get an Italian dressing but we were more than welcome to pay for another sub or pay for the lettuce and tomato. Went back up to the store (15 minutes away) and politely asked the employee if she would remake it or give me a refund with a response that I could pay for another one and no refund. I politely gave them back their product and will contest the charge on my Visa. The last three visits to this place have been horrible with disgusting product and service. To think I loved it for my first visits when we came to the area to visit my daughter that we ate here every trip. Not anymore. I am done with this place. It’s no different than all the other lousy Hungry Howie restaurants in Detroit with products no different than the five dollar Little Caesars hot and ready but three times the cost. Good luck people cause I’m definitely done with this establishment. The only way this stays open is because of the limited restaurant choices in this small town. Maybe that is their business plan all along.”
