Had to go back down to the lobby for the microwave there. Small bottle of Water was about $4. Place was clean, s Some advertised channels did not work. Instructions via QT code described how to print documents and pickup downstairs but they actually don't have that service.”

And the dishware that needed to be removed to make room for the food was left and in the way.”

”I would absolutely not recommend this hotel. The room was wonderful. The service however was awful. Me and my friend got a room for two nights on our last night the guest next to us were being very loud. There was a man knocking on our door for more than 10 minutes and would not tell us Who he was. He said that we have more less than two minutes to get our belongings and get out of the hotel before he calls the police. We asked who he was since he was in his pajamas. He said he was the owner. We asked for employment ID he refused to give it to us. we explained to him that it was not us being loud. It is the people next-door it was 1:20 in the morning and he kicked us out of the hotel after repeatedly telling him that we were sleep it was the guest next-door. When I called downstairs to make sure that he was the actual owner and not a guest playing a prank. He came back to our room, kicked the door and said how dare you question who I am get out of my hotel room. Then pushed past us walked in our room and started to pack our things. When I told him do not touch our belongings, he said he owns everything and everyone in the hotel room. When I thought this couldn’t get any worse while we were waiting in the lobby for a ride, he was kicking out three more guest that had been to be African-American. I would not recommend this hotel if you care about your safety.”

”Love this place, especially during the off season. Summertime you have to reserve early and its a little bit pricier. BUT OFF SEASON, this place is AMAZING!!! Prices are cheaper and the rooms are STUNNING. (Even the motel ones). Our stay this time was in the luxury suite which included a fireplace, a bath tub, and a full kitchen. Everything was cleaned and fully stocked when we arrived. Staff is friendly and helpful. I didn't get pictures from my last stay at the motel but it's clean and a great place to stay too. I RECOMMEND this place to everyone looking at this review.”

”Very nice campground. It's nice and quiet at night; I didn't hear any road noise. The grounds were well kept. The camp store was well outfitted. It's close to Buckley, so it's a good spot to stay if you're going to the engine show. It's about 15 miles from Traverse City, which is far enough away to be out of the hub bub of that town.”

”The campground is nice overall. The bathrooms are clean and well maintained. There’s plenty of fun activities for the kids. We really enjoyed the tie dyeing, the jumping pillow/big playground, gem mining, waking up/bedtime with the bears, and the cartoons at night. There are free activities but it can get pricey if you do every activity or have multiple kids. $10 per person for visiting is expensive, per car would be more reasonable. The glow dance Saturday night was AWESOME! That was the highlight of the trip for me!”

”This campground totally surprised me. It's in middle of nowhere. They have 200 site, heated pool. Bathrooms with shower and lots of things to do. We went on one the Halloween days it was fantastic. It was during the daylight the kids and many of the parents dressed up. We had lots of fun the best Halloween we have ever celebrated .”

”Be careful when booking using a special rate, if you modify your stay they will increase your rate. I booked using the government rate and due to an unexpected itinerary change I had to come in a day early. I contacted the hotel to add the day and they changed the daily rate of all three days to a higher rate. They also charge $10.00 a day for self parking, this is East Lansing, MI not NYC.”

”I had a great stay at this location. I arrived very late on a Friday morning (at 2:30 am) and Casey greeted me at the front desk and helped me find the perfect room. Rooms are clean and fresh -- not musty or lots of fragrance -- and quiet. Doors are solid wood so you will not hear noises from the hall way. Bedding is super soft -- and provided bath products are good quality. Nice desk to work and seating area.”

”We stayed at Lake View Hotel from Sunday to Wednesday morning. It had a nice location. There was bike parking by the hotel. The staff was wonderful! It had nice porches to sit and relax on. Great hotel to people watch from. The room was nice. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. The pillows were flat and uncomfortable. The indoor pool was nice but cold. The Turtle played loud music below our room during the day into the evening. That was not that relaxing after being out and doing activities on and off throughout the day.”

”Since they won’t let me respond to my review on trip advisor, I’ll respond here. Read the recent reviews here and on Trip Advisor. We will NEVER stay here again. Be aware of this place!! I refuse to give them a compliment of any sort at this point. Usually, I only leave positive posts because we rely on them. I read negative reviews with a grain of salt. After reading all the negatives, management’s jaded responses, and having a similar experience, we felt compelled to leave a host of negative reviews. DO NOT GO HERE! They have taken dig after dig on recent reviews and reviewers. There is a reason. How often have you seen that many negative reviews in a row on Trip Advisor. Check out their recent reviews. Their customer service and social media presence is absolute trash. DON’T STAY HERE! We are normally good with paying a higher price for their amenities and park. It simply isn’t worth it with the poor customer service they have running this operation. AVOID!!!!!!! ****EDIT*** I read more recent reviews and so many people agree. This is the worst customer service we have EVER received at a campground in over 25 years of camping. They deserve what they get. Oh please, review our review so people can see your customer service is beyond awful.”

”LADIES THIS IS NOT FOR YOU!! People who enjoy sleep. This is not for you. My wife and I just wanted a place to set up a tent and this place happened to be LGBT friendly so we were all about it. We saw that there were various events throughout the weekend but we weren't super interested in socializing as we had other plans in town. We picked a camping spot with an electric outlet but the outlet was 3 sites down. Not sure why we were charged extra for that. The campgrounds: really rough. It smelled like a barn on Saturday morning. Literally smelled like poop! I felt so gross and couldn't wait to shower. But the showers are gross too. Everything is so expensive. Sleep: I was so tired Friday night and wasn't expecting our campsite to be the corner of all the chaos. Someone peed in front of our tent. People drinking and driving golf carts until the wee hours of the morning. Parties until the morning. We asked to be put in the back camping site and the put us right up front. We had to grab our things and drive to a rest stop to sleep for the night because we were SO UNCOMFORTABLE. And it was insanely loud. This is more for gay men than "lgbtq+" We unfortunately had to return in the morning to tear down the tent and we just threw it in the garbage because it was so gross. Couldn't get home fast enough”

Very friendly staff, Malea(sp?) was very friendly and helpful at the front desk. Hotel room was extremely clean, beautiful, and very spacious. Hotel restaurant Sauce Kitchen was excellent--made to order pasta--except the service was a bit slow they seemed understaffed, but the food was very tasty. Had a good selection of food items and snacks in the lobby convenience shop. Great location near UM-Flint campus. Overall, would definitely stay again.”
