“Great in every way. Course is fantastic, great layout and very well kept, carts are equipped with a gps monitor, can’t ask for more. Staff is insanely nice. Mark, the guy working in the pro shop, walked me to my cart and explained where everything was since I hadn’t been here before. I mentioned I was cold and he literally gave me his q-zip to wear for the front 9 until it warmed up. Fresh food grilled and prepared outside, the Texas toast breakfast sandwich was delicious, beautiful clubhouse. One of the best courses in the metro area”

”I wanted this to be as incredible as the reviews that I had read prior to playing. It wasn’t. I only played the Black. I am a single digit handicap and am able to look past a lot, but today was a disappointment. First off, the course, aside from the greens, was one of the most basic, uninteresting courses I’ve ever seen. There are no hazards to speak of and nearly every hole had a 100yd wide window to hit the fairway. The bunkers are nicely maintained but are oddly dispersed. For the life of me, how in the hell is this a top 50 course? If you are looking for a resort style basic course, this is good for that. If you are looking for a course to challenge your game, this is not the course. The fairways were pitted and full of divots. They were bare sand in many areas. For $215, you would assume that the course would be maintained to a level to command that rate. This course is a $40 course in Myrtle Beach, at best. This is not a good representation of UK style golf because the links style courses across the pond are much better kept and priced correctly. Also, there was no ranger to be found to aide with the pace of play. There was no water on the course or mobile beverage cart. We were told at the start that we should easily be done with our round in 4 1/2 hours. I called the pro shop on the 7th tee box and informed them that we were 2 hours and 15 min into our round after 6. I was told that according to their GPS tracking of the carts that the pace of play is still 4h30m. After some back and forth, they agreed to send a ranger out to fix the issue. We finished our round in 5h15m. I’m sure that the Forest Dunes course is incredible, based on what I could see from the clubhouse. Sorry to ramble on….I wanted it to be as good as an experience as Arcadia Bluffs the day prior. Also, the pics I have uploaded are only a few. Every hole was in this condition. And again, the greens were firm, fast and rolled nice.”

”Played late June ‘23. Course was in great shape, and the staff was quite friendly. It was a busy day and the pace on the front 9 was great. Back 9 was a bit slower, but a group of 12 took an extended break at the turn to grab a full lunch and hopped between the group in front of us and our 2-some (not the courses fault). I’m not from the area but will definitely be back. I liked the whole course, but I believe holes 2 and 3 were my favorite. Great course, great price, and easy to hit on your way up north! Thanks Eagle Glen, we’ll be back! ***updated review**** 5 star course in June and a 5 star in late July! Came back with a 4 some and everyone was impressed. Great course! Will be back here many more times!”

”Only disappointment was that I live nearby and hadn't played it sooner. Range A+ Staff A+ Greens A+ Course Layout A+ It's short but challenging. Very unassuming and different from what you would get at any of the other Hawk Hollow/Eagle Eye properties. But the course is in fantastic shape. 12 holes on a Sunday morning was perfect. Pace of play is on the slower side but it's a very accessible course for all levels of play so that's expected. Such a beautiful peaceful place we honestly didn't mind a little wait on each tee.”

”Love playing at pheasant run. The track is nothing too special but it’s always in decent shape and I’m not good enough to be worried about a course not being difficult enough! Tee times are getting higher everywhere but they’re a bit too high here at pheasant run for the course. Probably about $8-$10 overpriced IMO.”
