“First Wok is definitely one of the best Asian restaurants in the area! I have been coming here for several years and have never been disappointed in the quality of the food. It may be a bit pricer than it’s competitors, but I’d say the extra cost is worth it. Orange chicken is usually my go-to at Chinese restaurants, and First Wok does it well. The lunch specials are a pretty good value in my opinion. The service has been reasonably efficient and has been friendly.”

“Overall it was a nice evening out. The drinks were amazing! The food was just ok. A shrimp cocktail for $15 was not a good value as the shrimp were tiny and some were not deveined. Not worth the price and I would like two-bite shrimp! I had the crab cake with the TERRIBLE TOMATO AND COLESLAW! Not appealing at all and it didn't taste good! It looked even worse! The bread pudding was great. Service was slow and we didn't get water for the first 12 minutes. The server was okay…a little snarky but decent. Hate sitting by the kitchen! The $50 deposit is trash. It was supposed to go towards the bill but they refunded it and now I'm still waiting on my refund! Should have just stuck to the application to the bill. Overall it was just decent. Likely won't return for another 2 years!”

“Since this restaurant was close to hotel, I visited this place. Atmosphere was Chinese restaurant for sure. Entrees were mostly around $12 or so. It was good to share with team members. I liked Wonton soup. Entree came with white rice so we didn't have to order any noodles or fried rice and we were full.”

“Food: you have Chinese-American restaurants in every town, but you rarely have really good ones. Gaslight is one of the really good ones. The dumplings were not only great, but seem like such a rarity these days. Orange chicken came recommended so we gave that a try along with tofi vegetable stir fry. Not disappointed, orange sauce was amazing with a very deep citrus flavor and even little bits of peel in it was almost like candy. Vegetables in the stir fry were perfectly cooked, still having some crunchiness and not the typical mush. Service was very good, but a little odd for dining in. They gave us menus, let us pick our seats, but then had us come up to the bar to order. We later found out it was due to a constant lack of staff. Everyone was very nice, food came out fairly quickly with a perfect pause between our appetizers and mains. The inside is a little sparse. Straight back wooden chairs. Once people started filling the place it got a bit loud.”

If you order a meal while dining in you get a free egg drop or hot n sour soup. They only accept cash while dining in or taking out unless you order from an app like Doordash. They don't skimp on the veggies in their dishes, which I appreciate. The orange chicken is cooked with real bits of orange peel. Portions were very generous.”

”Food was fresh (white meat) hot and delicious. Went on a Wednesday night, not so busy but enough. Sadly only one server seemed overwhelmed but she was still nice. General Tao combo, comes with beef fried rice and egg roll. So good, the rice was flavorful and the eggrole was awesome. Buddy got the sesame chicken, his was fire! ”Love the food I get from Rikshaw, especially the shrimp fried rice, egg foo-young and the egg rolls. Haven’t tried all of their food but what I order tastes very good. The people are nice. My only issues are the location, not the most comfortable environment, next door to a party store where mad dudes hang around. The other issue, probably the biggest is that they’re rarely open when they are scheduled to open. It’s frustrating because I don’t live in the area but when I’m near by and want to go to the Rikshaw house they are rarely open. I’ve had to find another restaurant.”

This place falls under the same tradition for restaurant starter kit food. We had broccoli and shrimp with noodles combo, chicken egg foo young with rice and chicken lo mein with rice. Portions we smaller than usual. Nothing really exciting to write about. Same traditional Chinese fare. Inexpensive. Low quality design I g area. We will most likely not come back”
