“If I could give - 100 stars, I would. They should have a rude person rating on here...Today, Fri 19 Jan 2024 at approx 2.45pm I was served by the rudest cashier I have come across..correction, both of them, 1& 2 were RUDE! The customers before me paid & left, well cashier 2, (I think her name was Jun) turned to cashier 1 (a male) and said something in another language, nodded her head towards the previous customers & both were laughing at them as they walked out. The cashiers had a conversation between each other whilst I was waiting to be served. When she did serve me, there was no hello, didn't even look at me, just continued to have her conversation in a different language.The only words I got was the amount I owed. I paid & said Thankyou quite loudly, thinking she would reply... no, they continued to talk between themselves, in their own language & laugh at the previous customers. Another staff member walked through the checkout & the 3 of them started chatting.I was still standing there in disbelief. Also while in the store there was a worker speaking very rudely to another much younger worker about how he's not allowed to take time off which should not be spoken about on the floor. Aldi, sort your workers out, retrain them in customer service & procedures. Quite a pathetic experience at Aldi Minto.”
