“Had a wonderful experience staying at the Junction Hotel. My sister and I stayed in Room 1 and it was lovely! A generous sized room located in the heart of the Junction close to shops and other amenities. The staff were so very helpful and accommodating. I was concerned it may be a little noisy being above a pub and near a main thoroughfare but it was so quiet! Had dinner in the pub that last night we were there and it was delicious. Will definitely be going back!”

“As you walk in you think wow really cool, looks medieval. The friendly staff are helpful. The bed is very comfortable. Laundry is free to use (but messy I had to fix the light) BUT, the room was a bit disappointing and very impracticable, with nowhere to put anything. The fridge had too much stuff in it for you to buy, IE coke, Mars bars, beer etc. So not much room to put your stuff in there. Very annoying. The bathroom was old in fact the place is old and starting to show it, The bathroom tiles hadn't had a good scrub for a long time, and the shower rose grotty. Holes in the carpet on the stairs. You can have dinner brought to your room (extra charge) There is 1 chair that doesn't fit under a writing desk (very nice looking one) but is totally useless where does the second person sit? A simple table would be better. The cupboard hiding the fridge won't close and torn curtain. Even the TV was dirty Sadly I can't recommend this place. And it's not cheap.”

Following a complete reconstruction of the building, the pleasant decor, lighting, music, and atmosphere have completely transformed the place. It's great to see families enjoying dinner and friends gathering for drinks. During our visit, we ordered the Garlic Prawns Fettuccini and a delightful ricotta gnocchi with browned butter. The dishes were not only delicious but also affordable. I highly recommend this place. The menu offers a great variety of food and drinks to suit different preferences. It's truly a gem worth trying.”

“This hotel was in an amazing location! The hotel features were amazing and the staff were friendly. We stayed in a deluxe spa room. It was a great size and had a balcony, over looking the river. The bed was comfortable and excellent WiFi! The only downside was that the hotel didn't communicate with their guests, that NYE fireworks were being set off, from the hotels roof.... sudden banging noises were quite unsettling. (Would have also been nice to know, so we could have gone and watched them!)”

Should be updated in the future. //OTHER KIDS// The other kids here were very rude to my kids, calling my son a "ginger" The staff should put up a sign of they're expectations for children that go here because that was completely unacceptable. //ROOMS// The beds were extremely uncomfortable and dirty and the cleaners had put no effort into cleaning them properly. The sliding door to the main room didn't lock properly, staff were unaware of this and should pay more attention to this. Same thing for the door to the kids room.”

Only thing I would adjust is the lighting in our room 2707. It needed a few more lights in the main area between the bed and the TV as it was a patch of darkness there. Apart from that was a great stay here!”

Only downsides - the food is quite expensive at the restaurant (although it is good), and the room was dusty, so it was obviously not cleaned properly. One lampshade had like a 2cm layer of dust! It was pretty offputting. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay.”
