83 Lewis Rd, Millfield NSW 2325, Australia
“A "pilgrimage" for hindu pilgrims, a destination enriched with peace, tranquillity and serenity. A place to be if you visit this place with open mind and heart regardless of your ethnicity, race and origin. Only an hour drive from Newcastle, however, don't expect your phone network to be available!!”
149 Haldon St, Lakemba NSW 2195, Australia
“Alhamdulillah this is one of the best bookstores, I always buy items online and within 2 weeks MAX it is processed and delivered to my door. The store is small but has a lot to offer with perfumes, clothes, books, lifestyle etc, I can’t get enough to visit this store, one small opinion of mine would be that it gets pricey, but being one of the few bookstores. It makes sense. بارك الله فيك ♥️”
66 Goulburn St, Sydney NSW 2000, Australia
“We absolutely loved it! What an amazing experience listening to artists you love in a classical way. The ambience setting was tranquil. It was beautiful music to our ears 🎶 Thoroughly enjoyed our date night!”
120 Hanging Rock Rd, Sutton Forest NSW 2577, Australia
“Located at the Pauline Monastery, near the Hume Highway at Sutton Forest. Here is a large church in a clearing surrounded by bushland and natural features. The church is large, reverent, and a place of solace. There's small shrines internally provided by the various communities and benefactors. Feast days may be celebrated in the vast clearing area. The rear bushland area has a walking trail with the stations of the cross, an outdoor chapel, and a grotto. The area has individual shrines representing the diaspora of Australian communities commemorating their patron saints. This is a treasure for Sydney.”
173 King St, Sydney NSW 2000, Australia
“I noticed once again a bronze cast of Homeless Jesus, by Canadian artist Timothy Schmalz. This time I found it outside of St James Church Sydney NSW. So I had to take another look to see if it was the same model as the one I saw in Tampa Florida, and it is. Schmalz centres his work towards provocative situations where he places Jesus in modern urban settings. After seeing this I wanted to step inside the church. St James Church was consecrated in 1824 and stands as one of the oldest buildings in Sydney. The building has had several renovations, restorations and structures to fortify this house of worship built by convicts. In one restoration of the spire interior they found iron splice plates marked with the convict arrow marking in the early 1820’s building materials. They kept that part of the structure as part of the church heritage. Take a look inside and look at the magnificent stain glass windows. They may not be the original work, but it still is impressive. I believe that it doesn’t matter what religious beliefs you may have, I believe at heart the world would be better if there was more kindness and love all around the world.”
