“This isn't a review of their wines to be honest, but we tried to walk up for a walk-in tasting on a weekday in early January and were met by quite a passive-aggressive lady who made us feel like we were a burden. She immediately asked us "do you have a booking", and after I replied that we didn't, she half murmured to herself whilst rolling her eyes that this was the busiest time of the year. Message to the staff: it's not really up to your customers to know the ins and outs of your business, and even if you can't accommodate us, there are more polite ways to say this. The lady said she could "squeeze us in" if we wanted, but it was an easy decision for us - we left, and she seemed quite happy to let us go. We took our business to Iron Gate who happily accommodated us, and from whom we bought 3 bottles.”

“This is the second time staying here, both in our caravan. They have added a lot more since our last stay, including cabins and a pool, which is great. Toilets and showers are kept to a decent standard of cleanliness. Staff are always pleasant good to deal with. The park is located beside a more open surf beach on one side and the nice calm waters of jimmys Beach in the bay on the other, the beach access is a bit of a hike but not difficult. The only criticism is the number of large trees. They are continually dropping small sticks and leaves on parked vans and vehicles. This park is well worth a look.”

“We had a great stay here at the Wyndham. The beds in the rooms were super comfy, not so much the sofa bed though. Rooms were clean and had good features. The pool was great, as well as the 2 spa options. There is a kids pool also, but the mushroom wasn’t turned on when we were there. The main pool is heated to a nice temperature and is open late. Nice grounds to walk around as well.”

“I loved staying at Club Wyndham Sydney which it’s closer to every facility like Restaurants, shops, museums, underwater world and waterfront Restaurants. It’s in the middle of the CBD. I am a member of Club Wyndham. I loved how spacious the double rooms are, it’s great for families of 4-6 people it had 2 showers, with a spa tub, Kitchenette. In our past staying we had a washing machine and a dryer. But Not all rooms we stayed at, has this facility. But they have a laundry room in the building. We’re looking forward to our 1wk staying here again this year with my family to watch the vivid lights for the first time 😊. I highly recommended this place for staying in the city, closer for every family activities.”

“Netty. Was. Here. Now I remember this place from way back in the day. Let me tell you it is vastly different than it was then! A beautifully designed club with ample space for Bowls Players, Sports Fans or the Kid’s Birthday celebration. Cafe & Restaurant serving food, 3 seperate bars on the lower level and large games room. Even a fully equipped jungle gym for the Kiddos. I came for my usual budget friendly mid week $14 lunch special and was absolutely delighted (and a belly full) I had the Nachos which was full of flavour (bean less if that floats your boat). Membership will see even bigger club discounts, and there’s a courtesy bus for the locals. What a great club in the Maitland community. Staff are fabulous, near all of them asked if I’ve ever been here before. They were more than happy to tell me about the place, show me the areas of interest within the club. Pretty Cool!”

“Bit expensive but we had pleasant stay though. Kids had fun on the pool, playground and fitness area, has a tiny camp kitchen. Staffs are friendly. Short distance to shops and parks. We stayed on the campsite and the grass was bit tall, you cannot easily what’s on the grass, we were surprised what’s hidden on it when we are packing our tents because pets are allowed. 🤢”

“We booked a 2 bedroom deluxe villa for a short stay. The resort is well laid out to ensure privacy and peace. The pool & jacuzzi area is beautiful designed and spotlessly clean with lots of different seating options. Theres a bar to order drinks & snacks. There’s also a great shaded kids pool and play area. Staff are super friendly and you can tell the resort is well run. In the cabins all bedding and crockery are provided. There’s even washing machines. But you will need to bring all your food & cooking supplies. The pool was a haven in the heat during our visit. 4 min drive into Yamba so close to everything but feels secluded. Would be great for families and big groups.”

“Absolutely amazing retro hotel, very high standards. Has a great bar and delicious restaurant, breakfast was good. Rooms are small and basic but comfortable. The hotel has a very unique ambiance, beautifully decorated by the owners, while it is a renovated motel, standing at the bar it’s almost like you are in an designer hotel in a major city. The artwork was very interesting as well, reflecting the owners unique history. One of the more unique places I have stayed.”

Cockroaches including in the dishwasher from food scraps and residue on baking dishes, oven, crockery and utensils. Stained and faded furniture and fabrics. Very unappealing overall. Property manager at the resort ignores emails and avoids phone calls. Does not correspond or resolve at all. Would not recommend staying here.”
