“I’ve been meaning to do this review for a long time now but, I have been a customer of Burgerfiend since around 2018 onwards and could never fault them for anything. Their burgers are amazing! Even if I may get the same one every time 😂 I started off with their Fiend Burger, progressed to the double and during last year they knew who would be calling when I asked for the Triple Fiend. Their service has always been great and it always brightened my day seeing Marlene and Matt in there if I happened to be ordering as well as all the other lovely staff who couldn’t believe I could eat their Triple Fiend. I absolutely love their new location and have still yet to go into Samasama but I bet it’s great too! I have so many photos of the burgers I’ve gotten here so I’m just gonna post them along with this review 😁”

“This is a great place to enjoy pies and cronuts! It’s always packed with people, whether it’s the weekend or a weekday. We love their food and come here whenever we feel like having a savory pie or sweet pastry. It’s awesome that the pastries are crunchy and fresh with delicious fillings. It’s always better when they’re freshly made. The staff is friendly and the indoor atmosphere is great. The whole shop is packed with goodies and is beautifully decorated. It’s great that there’s a big parking lot and an outside area to sit and eat. And dog-friendly outdoor seating.🐶 That’s always a plus!”

“It's a take away Indian food joint but the best this part of inner west and Flemington. I loved their finger food such as the lamb and chicken rolls. The price for the ready made deep fried rolls have gone up a fair bit compared to buying the frozen in the freezer. Still it's delicious! Service wise there is usually a wait and would be good if they can improve their website to include availability of their dishes as only some dishes are on offer on weekends. Sometimes but rarely I may be lucky to made a party order online.”

“More Singapore style cuisine. Food lacked spice especially the sambal. Year of the rat decorations are still up (2020). The windowsill is dusty and could be cleaned better. The service was good the food came quickly. Hainan chicken was the star of the lunch. It was boneless, had a generous serving of sauce and was not dry at all! The teh tarik was a bit disappointing it was too milky and did not have the tea flavour I was craving. The belachan was very delicate and light. Lo see fun is not very common in restaurants so I was keen to try it, it was good although a bit one note if I was eating it by itself. Roti canai was delicate and crispy and the curry was thick and strong, a perfect pairing. Would revisit to try other dishes.”

But once I did, every bite was something special, and not at too crazy or a price point. Something I found especially unique was the spicy tuna roll. That is one in a million. I do not know what other places makes it like this. Everyone always uses canned tuna, non fresh tuna. This place uses fresh tuna out of the fridge and stuffs all that meat into the roll. You get a mouthful of tuna, now that’s special. Beef sukayaki was a bit sweet, although I’m not too sure if that’s how Japanese people typically do it. Cups could be a bit bigger however, I don’t know how to hold water with such small cups.”

Cath went above and beyond with the design considering the time of year and short staff she was able to make an amazing cake.
