“I organised my sister’s Hens at XXL Potts Point last weekend - we had an amazing night! There were 35 of us with an age range of 18 - 64. Everyone had a blast! We participated in a live drawing class, pole dancing and cocktail making - all of which were entertaining and inclusive. My sister was brought up on stage a few times during the show and just had an awesome time dancing with the performers! Organising was super easy with Micheal being kind and accommodating throughout the entire process. The experience felt extremely personal even though we were one of many groups there that night. Honestly considering returning for my birthday at the end of the year…I would 100% recommend!”

“This review is on the food. Red vegetable curry with pumpkin, mushrooms and red onions and some slight spices is a disappointment. A half kilo of prawns, while slightly sweet prawns, would benefit from a crusty bread roll, and a small water to wash fingers after peeling the prawns. The small salad with the curry was without dressing, so really just lettuce, tomatoes, red capsicum and slices of red onions. The hotel is old school with a delightful front bar, and a memorial to Johnny Warren, a football legend. The hotel is worth a visit, but the restaurants lets it down.”

“The best nachos I have ever had in my life. In my trip from Broken Head to Nimbin I found this great tavern and ordered the chicken nachos. What a great choise!! The side salad was super tasty with grilled corn and its nice dressing. The staff was really friendly too and the place itself have a lot of different sitting áreas to cater everyone's needs. “So apparently you pay $26 for a side salad… this is what I was presented with after receiving two Caesar salad from the RSM tonight, both looking just a poor as each other. Taste I can’t fault but it’s truely not worth $26 and I am really disappointed and annoyed that this is what I got after spending $52 for both salads. To be honest i feed my rabbit more which is saying something. I really don’t think I’ll be returning.”

Will NEVER COME BACK AGAIN. Told by the secy who scratches his head and laughs at his phone every 30 seconds. EDIT. got told that we are intoxicated after couple of Birthday beers at Darling Harbour restaurant for birthday feed celebration. Sat down quietly drinking beer and getting told to get kicked out. If you want to get your night ruined by some imbecile degenerates in a dirty cheap pub with stool full of beer soot....GO AHEAD”

“GO HERE IF YOU WANT A TERRIBLE NIGHT OUT - we went on Monday 18th December. Club York is an excellent venue to start off for your night out. They have happy hour (5-7pm) a great cocktail bar upstairs (unfortunately closes at 7pm). I highly recommend Primi Italian- great service, food was amazing - no one left food on their plate! After dinner we thought we’d just continue talking, drinking at the main bar so the restaurant can clean up and leave we all ordered a standard drink (beer, wine etc) nothing fancy but we couldn’t order a second as apparently they were closed. We chose this place due to the long opening hours listed on website, social media etc. It was a Christmas time catch up as we all work in hospitality and know how stressful busy December can be so we wanted to have some time at the venue. Trading Hours may state 11pm BUT THEY CLOSE THE BAR DOWN AT 10pm!! No walk around to let current patrons know that the bar will be closing soon, no announcement, nothing. When we questioned this they said the pokie area is opened until 11pm. Management, the 2 older male workers were very rude at how they handled the situation, kept muttering under their breath, like we were an inconvenience to them the whole night. DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR and walk down to the corner and go to CLUB 75, great bar service, all staff and security were friendly to deal with. The bar staff walked around and announced last drinks then closed and hour later - it’s like they understand how the hospitality industry works!! CLUB 75 IS A WINNER!!”
