Golden Century is on a totally different planet and only rated 3.9 and is at a similar price point.”

“Mixed feelings about Packsaddle Roadhouse. We went there last Monday & they were very accommodating, polite and even made sure our dogs had water. Food was hot & served up quickly so it was a 5 star experience. Decided to stop there on the way back on the following day (which happened to be Melbourne Cup day in Victoria) but appeared only to be catering for locals. Stood at the bar for a while waiting patiently to be served as they were having what I thought were family photos taken so didn't interrupt. We were just after a hamburger & steak sandwich but were told they're not doing those but could do toasties. Not what we wanted. Our experience on that day was the polar opposite of the previous day so I can only really rate our overall experience 3 stars.”

Very family friendly with play room for young ones and play centre upstairs. Out with family from age 1 to 96 all enjoyed their meals. Meals were ordered from the table and delivered to the table with separate pay if required. It's better to book a table. Was busy but spread out well. Live music this Friday. Have had Chinese here too and is excellent.”

“It took us 45 minutes to drive to this place - and it was well worth the trip! The place was easy to find and there are lots of available parking in the area. Staff were very friendly and the service is excellent. The food was delicious, served hot and the prices are fair. I would recommend getting a seat at the balcony as it was a comfortable place to have lunch at. Highly recommended for anyone to try and we will definitely be coming back.”

Drinks was not far from food as we waited a while for them also. After asking our waitress a few time who kept telling us its coming, we had to ask someone else who finally went to sort it - then was told we had to wait longer for the food due to their “technical difficulty” and when we wanted to cancel and leave then it came out all at once. Had live music outside - was seated very closed and was very loud. This isn’t my first rodeo at Willo and had previously had a nice experience, therefore its is the reason for my return.”

“Reef restaurant is a beautiful waterfront venue. If you can't get window table then you are missing out big time. We did not get it. Service a bit slow, forgetful. We ordered our drinks, but the host forgot to order. We sat for 10-15 minutes with our menus closed, ready to order. Unfortunately, at 12:15 they already ran out of the lobster special dish. Maybe we were lucky, because table next to us got their lobster and complained about it. Getting a replacement dish. They were extremely unhappy with multiple staff attending to that table. We received our drinks late, but the food was delivered timely. Seared scallops were a highlight. Oysters were nice, fresh. Duck breast main course was good, with excellent sauce and all ingredients on the plate. Fish of the day served with bug also good. I would come back only if we can seat by the window, because the view is amasing.”

Eventually someone called and a person came up to tell everyone waiting to go to the 2nd floor entry... not sure why they didn't put up a sign telling people. Food is okay. Service is poor. When seated, they didn't say anything or explain how the ordering worked. We hadn't received all of the items ordered when we were given the bill, which was placed on the corner of the table. Empty dishes weren't cleared, we had to move them to make room. Our experience also included a kid at the next table who was jumping around, touching everything on our table because the table are so close and being loud, parents didn't do anything. Bot the restaurants fault but added to the overall experience. Wouldn't go bank and don't recommend.”

“My first time. Love the deco. So much history, Liu Rose Restaurant have been in North Strathfield for 52 years. The food was good, fantastic friendly service. We ordered the Salt n Pepper Fish (Ling fish) , mix veggie and Fried Chicken Ho Fun (flat rice noodle). Not many Chinese restaurant still use paper wrap fully wrap and sealed chopsticks with “how to use chopstick instructions on the back. End the menu with fortune cookies. Just all little details, bring back memories. Makes my lunch much more enjoyable. Thank you.”
