47-65 Short Point Rd, Merimbula NSW 2548, Australia

“We stayed at Beach Cabins Merimbula in the Cottage with other family in the 1 and 2 bedroom studios. We all loved our stays. The accommodation is comfortable, the kids loved the pool and playground areas, and we loved being surrounded by …”

750 De Beyers Rd, Pokolbin NSW 2320, Australia

“We had the picnic and wine tasting package! Beautiful setting and picnic food was fab. Wine tasting was lovely but did feel a little rushed over all. Staff were very chatty and accommodating. Would recommend a visit.”

Albury Manor House
4.6
( 8 reviews )
Open until 10:30 AM

593 Young St, Albury NSW 2640, Australia

“As you walk in you think wow really cool, looks medieval. The friendly staff are helpful. The bed is very comfortable. Laundry is free to use (but messy I had to fix the light) BUT, the room was a bit disappointing and very impracticable, with nowhere to put anything. The fridge had too much stuff in it for you to buy, IE coke, Mars bars, beer etc. So not much room to put your stuff in there. Very annoying. The bathroom was old in fact the place is old and starting to show it, The bathroom tiles hadn't had a good scrub for a long time, and the shower rose grotty. Holes in the carpet on the stairs. You can have dinner brought to your room (extra charge) There is 1 chair that doesn't fit under a writing desk (very nice looking one) but is totally useless where does the second person sit? A simple table would be better. The cupboard hiding the fridge won't close and torn curtain. Even the TV was dirty Sadly I can't recommend this place. And it's not cheap.”

Halifax Holiday Park
4.5
( 8 reviews )
Open until 10:00 AM

5 Beach Rd, Nelson Bay NSW 2315, Australia

“We had a powered site on a double concrete slab just a short walk from the excellent facilities. Our only concern was we didn't realise that the bins were at the front near the entry gate. But once we found them all was good. The access to the beach is excellent and the cafe next to the lighthouse is great.”

Powerhouse Hotel Tamworth By Rydges
4.5
( 8 reviews )
Open until 10:00 AM

248 Armidale Rd, Tamworth NSW 2340, Australia

“We had a wonderful stay at the Powerhouse after purchasing the Stay & Savour package. We were blown away by the accomodation & dining experience. The package was incredibly good value. We were expecting to be limited as to mains & breakfast options as part of this deal but were pleasantly surprised to be told the only restriction was on ordering the special. We ordered entrees, steaks as our main, desserts & cocktails. We were recommended a beautiful red wine to pair with our steak which was on point. Every dish we had was perfect. The service & food were absolutely exceptional. We’ve been fortunate enough to have dined at some really nice establishments in our time & this will be fondly remembered as one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had. We were also gifted a bottle of wine for our anniversary which was a really kind gesture. Honestly couldn’t fault anything about our stay. We’ll be raving about our experience for years to come & will most certainly be back.”

Black Gold Motel
4.7
( 8 reviews ) $$

121 Main St, Wallerawang NSW 2845, Australia

“I made a phone booking for a Executive Twin room 4 months earlier and double checked there would be 2 beds. My sister rang a couple of days later to check that the room was disability friendly. On arrival last week the room had only one bed and a pull out sofa bed. On complaining we were told the room had been swapped that morning. On asking why it had been changed both the initial person and the manager said "well I didn't do it" We asked them which of the two 64 yr olds should use the sofa bed, the disabled one or the one with bad knees. As our room had already been occupied we were given another room. This was room number 1 in a row of six. Three steps led up to the room with no railing. This meant that my sister who has great difficulty negotiating steps had to walk 6 rooms along to get to the ramp then walk the 6 rooms back to our room, all very difficult for someone who needs 2 walking sticks at times to get about. The rooms were clean and tidy but had a strange smell. There needs to be more hooks in the bathroom to hang things. The parking spaces for the rooms also need to be numbered as someone who was at the restaurant took our spot despite there being plenty of spaces away for the rooms and just as close to the restaurant. The breakfast at the Crib room was good and the coffee was really great.”

Atura Blacktown
4.2
( 8 reviews )
Open until 11:00 AM

32 Cricketers Arms Rd, Prospect NSW 2148, Australia

“Great stay. Will be back. Service was great, the pool is fantastic and the rooms are nice and new with just the right amount of space. The bed is comfortable, and it's not too noisy even when busy downstairs. Only downsides - the food is quite expensive at the restaurant (although it is good), and the room was dusty, so it was obviously not cleaned properly. One lampshade had like a 2cm layer of dust! It was pretty offputting. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay.”

Tuckerbox Motor Inn

87-97 Mount St, Gundagai NSW 2722, Australia

Coogee Bay Boutique Hotel
4.5
( 8 reviews )

9 Vicar St, Coogee NSW 2034, Australia

“It was a blissful weekend to stay at Coogee Bay Boutique Hotel. The room was clean and very comfortable bed. The view was nice and we can watch the sunrise from our room. Very convenient as it was close to the beach and shops. The staff were approachable and friendly. The only missing was microwave, but it did not affect us so much as we eat out most of the time.”

Hotel Centennial
4.4
( 16 reviews )

Corner of Oxford St &, Victoria Ave, Woollahra NSW 2025, Australia

“We recently hosted a celebratory lunch at the Apartment, Hotel Centennial. It is an absolutely stunning event space, filled with so much natural light from the beautiful arch windows that overlook Centennial Park. While it is a perfect space for medium-large group get-togethers, the large hallway has an intimate feeling, like you're being entertained in someone's private home. Our event staff were absolutely phenomenal. They were quick to reply to our questions and were dedicated to creating a magical event for us. The food on the day was exceptional. The highlight for me was definitely the duck, but the perfectly crafted menu by the kitchen team was absolutely exquisite. I highly recommend this hidden gem of a venue for any events or lunches as you will truly have an unforgettable experience.”

Reflections Holiday Parks - Bonny Hills Holiday Park
4.7
( 8 reviews )
Open until 10:00 AM

920 Ocean Dr, Bonny Hills NSW 2445, Australia

“We camped here over the October long weekend with a big group of 5 families each with 2-3 kids, and we had 1 big dog. We were able to get 4 tent campsites that were positioned in a circle (21-24) which meant we were able to use the middle section for all the fun things you do when you camp with groups and kids. One of our friends had a caravan and they were just a stones throw away on a caravan-friendly site. The fact that the caravan park is small is a huge bonus. No matter where you are in the park the amenities and camp kitchen are nearby. On one of the busiest times of the year, car traffic was low which meant our kids could ride scooters and bikes in relative safety. There was also very little need to use a car for our stay as beach access was nearby for both the leash free dog section of the beach, and the rest of Rainbow Beach. We saw so many whales breaching and jumping out of the water! The skate park and playground, though not located on the caravan park grounds, is just across the road, and also conveniently located next to a convenience store, petrol station and fish and chips take-away. Food here is pretty good too! We order a chicken burger and some seafood. Not bad for a little local takeaway and our 2 and 4 year old devoured the chips and squid after a big morning at the beach. The amenities are spotless and very well kept. Water pressure is amazing and there is always hot water. There is even a dog wash just outside for your fur babies. The camp kitchen is stocked with basic pots and pans in case you have forgotten anything essential, but otherwise, it has two big sinks which are great for washing up, and boiling water is also readily available. The camp kitchen overlooks the spectacular beach views but it also has a good sized television and some toys for little ones. The five star service rating is for the cleanliness of the park, but also their procedure for returning lost property. My husband left his phone in the bathroom and we thought it was lost. It was picked up and given to reception. Within an hour of losing it, the park had messaged all customers in the park informing them that a phone was in their possession. My only critique (and this is mostly of you are staying in a big tent) is some of the tent campsites sloped on an awkward angle and could do with a little bit of levelling. Also, the ground is quiet hard in some places, so be prepared with good tent pegs and all the right equipment. Winds got up to 40km/h while we were here, and if some of our friends weren't able to secure their tents properly, this would have been the difference between a good stay and a miserable one. If you aren't a fan of camping under trees and you have a tent, then this caravan park is probably not for you, though we thoroughly enjoyed the shade they provided and the natural element they brought to the sites. We had never been here before, but had heard and read so many great things about it. It certainly lived up to its reputation and we are already planning another return trip soon!”

Iluka Clarence Head Caravan Park

“Loved it , it’s super basic but in a terrific spot. The sites were good sized and we found everything to be clean and well maintained. This is the spot for access to the world heritage rain forest walk, beach 4x4 driving and beach 🏖️ swimming. Shops and ferry are also located close by.”

Metro Aspire Hotel Sydney
4.1
( 8 reviews )
Open until 11:00 AM

383-389 Bulwara Rd, Ultimo NSW 2007, Australia

“I had a great stay at the Metro Aspire in Sydney! The rooms are reasonably well priced especially if booked through the website. The location is absolutely perfect! It was great that we were able to just park the car at the hotel and walk or take public transport everywhere. The hotel is a short walk from Darling Harbour and heaps of restaurants and we even walked into the heart of the city. Its also close to a light rail that we took to Circular Quay. The staff at the hotel were very accommodating and kind. The only downside to the hotel was that the rooms need soundproofing, you can often hear your neighbours or people in the hallway when in your rooms. And the bathroom was a bit weird as it didn't have a fan and would make everything inside moist. But besides that the room was great, clean and the beds super comfy. I would definitely stay here again I'm back in Sydney!”

The Sebel Kiama
4.2
( 8 reviews )
Open until 11:00 AM

2 Minnamurra St, Kiama NSW 2533, Australia

“A relaxing week away but with plenty of walks as well. Sebel Kiama is well located beachfront and only an hour and a half from Sydeny. All staff are cheerful, positive and clearly well trained - staff attitudes tell us a lot about the internal culture of the place and all staff made strong efforts to make us feel comfortable - pat on the back of the Training manager. Challenges: 1. The fridge is very noisy and woke us up continually during the night. I ended up turning it off before retiring. 2. The bathroom has no exhaust fan - this HAS to be fixed before we come again. 3. The bathroom has no shelving or cupboards to hold a lady's makeup etc - very inconvenient and an inexpensive fix would include a small portable cabinet with shelving (there's plenty of room for it) or some additional shelving fixed to the wall. 4. A very inexpensive fix for this one: the shower needs to be on a hose - replace the large rose head at the wall with a screw-on hose and hose holder giving those who like to stand under a rose that option, but giving the hose likers their comfort too. 5. Another inexpensive fix would be a red-end-of the-spectrum nightlight in the bathroom. 6. A very expensive but so worthwhile fix would be to install double sinks - these rooms redesigned for two people but the bathroom doesn't reflect that.”

Rydges Darling Square Apartment Hotel
4.2
( 8 reviews )
Open until 12:00 AM

72 Liverpool St, Sydney NSW 2000, Australia

“The worst experience we had ever staying at a hotel apartment. Me, my wife and son came to Sydney for the 1st time and unfortunately we booked at Rydges darling square. The Ac there was not working properly and they couldn’t give us another room instead they offered a smaller room at different hotel (within the same group which was only 3star). The room was very small. But considering it was hot weather we shifted to the other hotel which they arranged. At 12am, we had to carry our luggage our own the with my 7 year old son and wife. The other hotel was 2 streets away and we didn’t get any help from the hotel staff in shifting the luggage and had to carry my 7 year old son and 3 big trolley luggages through the streets which was really difficult and unsafe. We were downgraded from 4 star to 3 star and the management never gave any sort of compensation. Even the breakfast was very basic. Had horrible experience and I will never book with Rydges. I hope this reaches to their senior management team and no one else have to go through this kind of experience with them.”

Mantra The Observatory Port Macquarie
4.2
( 8 reviews )

40 William St, Port Macquarie NSW 2444, Australia

“Beautiful apartment with great sea views. Ideally located for a walk into town or along the stunning coastline. Everything that you needed for a great stay. There was a swimming pool and spa and also BBQ facilities. Would definitely stay here again”

Wentworth Hotel
4
( 9 reviews )

195 Parramatta Rd, Homebush NSW 2140, Australia

“This is a very family friendly hotel serving good quality meals at reasonable prices. Loads of parking at the rear of the pub and the recent renovation means everything looks fresh and new. Outdoor dining available and plenty of room for large groups inside. There is a private room available to seat at least 20 people and several bars to choose from.”

Mercure Goulburn
4.3
( 8 reviews )
Open until 10:00 AM

2 Lockyer St, Goulburn NSW 2580, Australia

“We stayed in the disabled room. It was lovely and very clean. The bed was comfy and we had a great sleep. The location is great. It's right next to a huge service station and a bakery. Very quiet. Didn't hear a sound all night.”

Wine Country Tourist Park Hunter Valley
4.5
( 9 reviews )

3 O'Connors Rd, Nulkaba NSW 2325, Australia

“Pretty ornery small caravan park. Looks great in the pictures on the internet but leaves a bit to be desired when reality sets in. Has a great camp kitchen with free barbecues & everything you need. A small clean pool. Small, old, cramped, hard to park, only two sitters and three showers in the men's amenities. Clean, but nobody really uses the mop to clean up after themselves. If they don't update soon, it will fall down!!”
