Took it back to the shop only to be told it wasn't 'faulty' because the handles were designed to come off and therefore doesn't meet return or warranty policies. Didn't know handles coming apart and popping off on their own was a standard feature of fishing rods. Must be a new challenge Anglers Warehouse are setting their customers. Then of course they offered me to buy a new reel to put on the rod... maybe it was part of this new challenge they are setting their customers? Was t going for it. Go somewhere else and ensure you check their returns and warranty policies before you buy.”

I was particularly annoyed when I asked a worker for help the other day and was greeted with an "I'll be with you in a sec". This was just before the worker read the riot act to his junior staff right in front of me, a customer. It was quite inappropriate of "Ty", at least according to his name badge.”

“This has the best range of sporting clothing on the border. The sales racks are brilliant especially when you have kids you can get excellent bargains. The range for sporting goods is great and at Christmas time they have a good range of gift items eg swimming pool toys as well. You can click and collect with them as well. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Our go to sports store. Parking underneath can be tricky as it is right and therefore hard to get in and out. Better to park out the front or in the Aldi car park and walk . Shoe range is the best in the area.”
