“Bit expensive but we had pleasant stay though. Kids had fun on the pool, playground and fitness area, has a tiny camp kitchen. Staffs are friendly. Short distance to shops and parks. We stayed on the campsite and the grass was bit tall, you cannot easily what’s on the grass, we were surprised what’s hidden on it when we are packing our tents because pets are allowed. 🤢”

“We just camped here. Toilets are very clean. We are camped inside Kos National Park and hence vehicle pass required. Adds $17 per day to cost. Compensated by the nature surrounding and access to walking tracks. Yes, horse flies are plenty. Various insects visit us regularly. Possums check out camping set up during night times. So, don’t leave any eatable or bins out. Despite all these we enjoyed our camping there just for the atmosphere. It’s not crowded. The stay is memorable. Service in general is top notch. They work hard to maintain the reputation”

This van park is in Forbes. In the Country. The Country is suffering. Forbes is a country town recovering from the floods and has a lot of catching up to do! The cabin is lovely, homely, spotlessly clean, neat, tidy, and well maintained, and has everything you'd need. Nice old comfy lounge, TV, air conditioner & heater, 4 bunk beds with foam mattresses & blankets. Compact kitchen and bathroom with a good selection of kitchen implements. Instantaneous gas hot water that feels like you're wasting a lot of water trying to keep the heat up by turning up full. Leafy, peaceful surroundings, swimming pool, camp kitchen. It's a lovely place to stay.”
