”I have been living here for nearly 11 months and I can definitely say that this has been my best experience renting thus far. This was a semi long distance move and I had a wonderful experience with the initial leasing process with Jay, he made the process a breeze and was very transparent about the leasing requirements and fees. It took less than an hour after submitting my application to get the news of my approval. I didn’t get a chance to tour the community in person prior putting my application in and my apartment was excellent upon move in. The neighborhood is quiet and very well maintained. I love the way my floor plan(The Maryland) is structured, a thick wall(my guess is 8ft) separates you and your next door neighbor, making it optimal for quiet and privacy. Quantrice and Charlene , the leasing manager and assistant manager, are amazing, you can tell it isn’t just a job to them and that is reflected on how well and how efficiently this complex is run. Any issues are promptly taken care of, the common areas are clean, and the residents are always kept updated of any changes and events. There are regular events for the residents her such as holiday parties and season themed events. What I really admire about this community is that I’m still treated with the same level of care and consideration as a resident I was when I was prospective resident.The care and professionalism you get when initially touring here is the same when you become a resident. And lastly………. look at this balcony view!!!”

”I wish I didn’t renew my lease here and fall for the trap of renewing 3 months into my lease because they were offering “special rent discount “ . I thought I would have to settle for a home with roaches and trash and dog poop everywhere because I thought it’s cheap. Now I know you can find LIVABLE conditions elsewhere. They really need to actually show you where you will be living when they give you a tour and not just show you the pool and the leasing office, having a gated community definitely doesn’t help that you can’t even see where you live before hand. I wasn’t aware I have to climb 5 flight of stairs just to get to my room, the constant roach infestation and the lack of parking and having to park in the deck when I pay for parking in my lease is unacceptable. Please find another community to live there are decent options for decent price. The utilities are “covered” but you still have to pay a large chunk of it, plus I always have to pay extra fees whether it’s rent plus or “accidental” charges on my account. Only pros: having your own separate bathroom, having access to a gym and pool”

I used the pool a lot and the gym had all the necessities I needed if I didn’t have time to go to my regular gym, always clean! Oh the dog park! It’s basically never busy and I used it multiple times a day, saved me from walking a ton and my dog loved it.”

The maintenance staff is very prompt to respond to any requests and actually find a resolution to any issues. The management staff is friendly and approachable with any questions and concerns. The apartment complex offers many useful amenities such as the pool, gym, tennis courts and dog park. The apartments are large in size when measuring in square footage. The amenities inside the apartments are all in working order and they do a great job at maintaining them. I love my overall apartment and the space. Living at Cortland Lex has been an absolute pleasure and I plan to live here long term due to the excellent premise and staff.”

”Moving to the Park at the Marketplace has been a huge improvement compared to my previous residence. The trauma, stress and fears have definitely withered away from the tour to presently living here.
