My hubby's food accidentally went to the wrong table and had to be remade. The server apologized and provided us with a free desert for our troubles. I would definitely visit this establishment again. Great customer service, and the food was good.”

”Pretty cool place. It is very busy on the weekends so expect to wait. Drinks are served fairly quick but food usually takes some time, which is not a big deal. The servers and staff are all amazing. They have a great outdoor seating area where dogs are welcome. They have corn hole competitions there. Food is good. Burgers are your regular burgers, nothing too special. ”Piggie Park usually on point when I order a rib plate. But today the meat looked like it was old or something. Maybe some ribs that was left in the fridge for a few days and took out and reheated. And most of it was crispy and thin pieces. And a little chewy. I'm used to my ribs having a pink color with a smoke ring look. I never seen brown looking rib meat. Only thing that was good was the slaw and fries.”

”We were traveling from Texas to Savannah but after a very long drive and just short of our goal, we had to stop due to bad weather. At the gas station, they recommended and directed us up the hill to Jomax's. Tired and hungry, we walked in at around 5 pm with no expectations. Guys this place is the real deal. While it is billed as a BBQ restaurant, they have salads, burgers, sandwiches, and other entrees as well. My burger was a delight- none of the fancy highbrow accessories folks use to dress up a burger these days, just two fresh made patties and American cheese on top. My mom ordered a loaded baked potato that came with a generous helping of chopped barbecue and dad had a grilled cheese sandwich that would pass for the ones that used to come from my grandma's cast iron skillet. The folks there were really great. A car-full of 3 cranky folks whose combined age is over 250 years walked in and when we walked out we were laughing and joking. Faith in humanity restored! Further evidence that small family run restaurants continue to be the better choice for you and your soul.”

”Pretty chill place, great food. Haven't found a dish yet we haven't liked. Friday evenings is trivia & karaoke. Otherwise some tunes playing and usually a TV playing a game. There's outdoor patio space with a bar and some tiki/pirate decor. The decor continues into the small indoor dining space as well, no bar inside. It's also home to the St Mary's pirates club which meets at the Point monthly. Rick is present every time we come in too and always checking to make sure things are good with your party.”

”Disappointing visit. Steak empanada had undercooked dough on the inside. Steak was dry and pieces were burnt. For an up charge, I’d expect the steak to have flavor and be cooked properly. It did/was not. Was charged for an up charge for mezcal when it’s the same price as the tequila. They’ve also seemed to have the marg flavors pre-mixed and it’s not the same experience it used to be. The Al pastor always is on point, has flavor and I’d eat it eat every day. The dough was cooked through and super flaky. The caramel apple was FANTASTIC and somewhat redeemed the visit. I visit a lot and I’m hoping it’s just a fluke and not a downward trend.”
