“I would have to say that the location and the service of this particular get away stay is absolutely incredible. Although I had issues with my room and the fact that there was dirty clothes from previous customers, I will say that the customer service was pretty good and the inside of the facility was very clean. I would mark this up as maybe a one time mistake as to the issues of the room and maybe make a new reservation for a new review soon! Other than that the stay was pretty pleasant and comfortable.”

“We rarely stay in Hotel/Motels, as we are usually in our RV. However, our Christmas vacation required overnight stays. Phil, the manager, greeted us, and Sierra checked us in at the desk. I'm already feeling good about this reservation. There was a 'Manager Reception' with libations and appetizers and a great recommendation for dinner. The room was quite clean and looked very comfortable. Thank you, staff and management, for a very comfortable visit. Nice job.”

“I was greeted promptly and professionally upon arrival. Check in was quick and easy. The room was clean as well as the linens and the bathroom. The water was deluxe hot! Breakfast was great. There were 2 African American ladies that did an excellent job of keeping the breakfast area clean, in order, and stocked. The sausage gravy and biscuits were top tier 👌. All around great visit.”

”The bed was wonderfully comfortable. They have lots of TV channels you can watch to relax. I was just there for overnight so I didn't use the pool or the fitness room but I saw some children playing in the pool and they were having fun. They have a typical Continental breakfast. I had the sausage gravy and biscuits which is my favorite breakfast and I loved it. They have juice and coffee that are both great.”

”Hotel looked pretty from outside, nice lobby but rooms were not cleaned. We stayed 3 nights, none of these days rooms were cleaned. Housekeeping didn’t do their job, one day they left note saying they didn’t clean because there was a shirt on bed. Coffee pods were replaced until asked. Were not satisfied with housekeeping service.”

”Cute little motel in a quiet spot, located a good distance from everything. The room was clean and simple, the bathrooms could definitely use an update. The front desk staff were all friendly and accommodating. Not sure the story behind the chickens running around the property but they were very cute and fun to watch! They advertise as having breakfast... their version of breakfast I nothing more than coffee, milk, and processed sugar in the form of prepackaged muffins and cakes. A regular hot breakfast would be nice, or change the advertising as grab and go breakfast. Would stay here again.”

”First the good: great reception upon our arrival by the night clerk Steve who could not have been any more welcoming and helpful in sharing information about local eateries and activities. The fresh popcorn in the lobby was a nice touch as well. The room was clean and well furnished and I appreciated the large television with a wonderful channel selection. Now the not so good: when we went to breakfast right after it opened, the breakfast host was no where to be found despite the fact that many of the hot offerings trays were empty despite the few guests in attendance. There was a beeping sound coming from the kitchen that only stopped when the front desk clerk went into the kitchen and turned it off. When the breakfast host finally made an appearance, I waited for her to come out of the kitchen and when she didn't, I went to kitchen only to find that she was eating the tater tots with her hands and the sausage patties cooked beyond recognition. I know that help is hard to come by but her attitude to the guests was questionable at best. Also, there was only one luggage cart to be found when we checked in and checked out. We were able to manage but I am sure many of the older guests would not be able to. Finally, to put any fears to rest regarding an earlier review talking about the prison transport vehicle at the hotel, there is a law enforcement academy close by and many of the officers were staying at the hotel making it probably the safest hotel in the region. Would we stay there again? Probably would but would go out for breakfast.”

”Room smells like a wet basement and smell is very strong. Thermostat is broken and A/C is stuck on. Room is cold, which I like but whole carpet is damp and under A/C is wet. Found 2 hairs and crumbs on my sheets. There's small holes in the wall and latch for closet door is missing. They're sold out so I couldn't change rooms. They gave me a discount and sent a guy up to spray fabreez but didn't help at all. Seems like maintenance is lacking. For the price I paid I expected better.”

”While we have stayed here multiple times without issue. Today after driving 7 hours into our trip we had a planned stop for this hotel. Upon arrival at 9:30 we were given our room. The door of the room would not close and latch properly. We went down to the front desk where we were given another room but that room did not have enough beds. After we came back down and stated the room was smaller than we booked we were told they did not have any other rooms that would fit us. The front desk girl called her manager who was no help and basically said we can’t help you. I said I booked a room but you can’t give me that room because it’s broken. Can we split our party into two rooms? They said I would have to pay for two rooms. Am I crazy here? I booked a room with you and it’s broken. Wouldn’t you want to place your guest who have been in your lobby for an hour with 4 kids and a dog into any room to make them happy. Corporate will be getting a call and a nice complaint. ”Stayed here in October; it was fine. Stayed here 11/23, and it was different. Feces all over toilet seat and dried food on comforters. Toilet ran all night. Elevator maintenance warning light was blinking in October and it still is. Asked housekeeping to point me to elevators, and they didn’t understand me. I was checked out by the manager (I know she is from previous visit) and I told her about filth in room and about housekeeping not even understanding elevator, and all she said to me is “we have employees that don’t speak English”. Never apologized for lack of cleanliness or anything.”

”This hotel could use some work. Floor tiles in both elevators are cracked and loose - hazardous. The toilet in my room stuck after each flush - I had to come back and jiggle the handle each time to get it to stop. Many stains on the carpeted hallways. Bed was comfortable. Receptacles on the bedside lamp are worn and plugs fit very loosely in them. Fridge and microwave in the room are very convenient. Breakfast was good, as was the coffee. Shower/bathtub was excellent. No tissue boxes in the room or bathroom at all.”
