Coastal Georgia Rv Resort

287 S Port Pkwy, Brunswick, GA 31523, United States

“We prefer state parks to RV resorts but this resort is our favorite! Park-like setting with scenic fishing pond and nice boardwalk. Each site is long and private thanks to tree/bush buffer between sites. Very nice covered pavilion, picnic tables, pool, laundry and game room. Friendly staff and very clean bathrooms/showers. Quiet neighborhood with some highway noise (didn't bother us at all). Close to restaurants and grocery store; easy access to highway and Golden Isles. Would happily return.”

“I camped here solo in a tent for several days and had an excellent experience. The showers and restrooms were really nice and modern, and always kept clean. I especially liked the laundry facilities, too. The wi-fi was spotty in certain places but it didn't bother me because I'm not going camping to spend time online. I arrived after dark on my first night and it wasn't difficult to find my way and get set up. All the staff I met were friendly and helpful, and the entire campground felt like a safe, wholesome environment. As a solo female traveller, I really valued the feeling of safety and security here. The location is great, too. I came to see The Lost Sea Adventure and Lookout Mountain, and these are each a reasonable driving distance for a daytime excursion. Highly recommend! Would stay again!”

“My family of 5 stayed here from December 25 to January 2. We loved it!!!! We drove our RV here to receive the new year. From day one, the staff was so helpful, respectful and professional. Jayne and Jim made our family vacation a memorable experience. They provided directions to get to the campsite, help setting up and always attentive to make sure every camper on the property was taken care. The campsite is kept clean all the time. Bathrooms, showers, trash container, playground. The property is quiet, sites are big, laundry room has everything you need. Let me not forget Lisette and Dave, they provided a magnificent experience as well, despite their busy schedule maintaining the property, they were always attentive of our needs. we can't wait to return on our next family vacation.”

Bolding Mill

4055 Chestatee Rd, Gainesville, GA 30506, United States

“This was my first time camping at Bolding Mill. Since it is a Corp of engineers location, the cost is very low compared to a private campground. The bath house is an older building but was clean and functional. There was also a washer & dryer. The grounds were nice and maintained when i was there in late August. Many of the sites are waterfront and nice sized. The driveway is concrete with a gravel/sand pad where the picnic table and fire ring are. There is also a nice fishing pier, just a short walk from the road. It was nice to go out in the late afternoon for a walk with the pup. There has been a staffing shortage lately, and some campgrounds were closed. Big thanks to those who are caring for these sites so we can enjoy them!!”

Waterside At Blue Ridge

( 16 reviews )

984 Loving Rd, Morganton, GA 30560, United States

”We camped here for a week. I was not sure how we would like it at first. Roads are a little narrow and it was hard to back in our site with cars parked across from us. But it turned out to be very quiet, friendly park. The entrance is slightly down hill and curved and you need to have a code to get in the gate. Used the laundry ( 3 washers and 3 dryers.) Our site #104 was paved, long, on the creek and great view of a farm. We would return.”

Enota Mountain Retreat

( 16 reviews )

1000 GA-180, Hiawassee, GA 30546, United States

”We stayed at Enota Mountain Retreat for a week, and had the most peaceful stay ever. Enota is quite secluded so the only sounds you hear are the birds, insects and the stream which ran on two sides of our RV. We hiked several trails with our dogs to both a huge waterfall, as well as the Appalachian trail. Both strenuous, but well worth the effort. There are many photos of Enota Mountain Retreat on the internet, but none compare with the actual beauty itself. It's a great place to immerse yourself in nature. Many thanks to our host, Dr Swan who made sure our stay was beyond our expectations. Enota is a gem, for sure.”
