“I come to this hotel fairly regularly for work. There are hotels closer to my work, but I continued to choose this Hampton Inn because of Marisa. I haven’t felt well traveling with pregnancy over the last several months, but every time, she brightens my day just by her personality and smile. I’ve never met someone friendlier in customer service - she actually makes me feel like I’m her friend or family for the times I see her. It was sad realizing it was probably my last time seeing her tonight. The hotel itself is pretty clean and quiet. No complaints from any of my visits”

“I booked a room, thinking that it was going to be a great hotel for a decent nights stay being I don’t typically stay here when traveling. I’m a traveling medical professional, but happened to be in a lot of pain this evening, myself, and exhausted. I was lying down and had ordered some food. I got up luckily when I did because there was a roach by the front door so I’m glad I got to the front door before my food came. I called the front desk with my complaint and the person asked me if I wanted someone from maintenance to check it out or if I want to go into another room after explaining that I’m in a lot of pain and I guess I will have to sleep with the lights on. If I was to go to another room, who’s to say there, are not bugs in the other room and either way I will still sleep, or try to, with the lights on which is unacceptable. I also stated that I’m in pain so for me to have to pack up my things, and pull them to another room would cause even more pain and inconvenience. And he just sits there silently until he says, what would I like for him to do about it. Excuse me? How about compensate me for my inconvenience. I’d hate to have to get up in pain and all And try to find another hotel at this time of evening. Then he says oh I’ll give you a discount on tonight’s stay. Well, I will speak to a manager in the morning and I’m also leaving this review so that people know that if you face any sort of inconvenience that it will not be handled in a timely and efficient manner . And also be aware that there are roaches in here. Also the usage of Fabuloso cleaner is too much. I have respiratory issues and allergies. These things also trigger my headaches so I hope I don’t end up in ER due to the chemicals. I can’t go to another room because it will still smell like chemicals as it’s in the air in the halls.”

“Girls' trip to Savannah on Sept. 14-18, 2023 was so much fun😁. Our first visit & won't be our last. Our stay here was nice with the exception of housekeeping. We didn't ask for our room to be cleaned during our stay, but needed towels. You would think we asked for much more the way they reacted.🙄 They wouldn't give them to us, they had to deliver them; go figure- why!!! Hotel was nice & clean & not far from downtown. Angela & the lady who worked the evening shift on Thursday & Sunday were both very pleasant & accommodating. Our stay was more pleasant because of their hospitality. Thanks ladies!!!😊 Texas Girlfriends!!!!😍”

“First the good: great reception upon our arrival by the night clerk Steve who could not have been any more welcoming and helpful in sharing information about local eateries and activities. The fresh popcorn in the lobby was a nice touch as well. The room was clean and well furnished and I appreciated the large television with a wonderful channel selection. Now the not so good: when we went to breakfast right after it opened, the breakfast host was no where to be found despite the fact that many of the hot offerings trays were empty despite the few guests in attendance. There was a beeping sound coming from the kitchen that only stopped when the front desk clerk went into the kitchen and turned it off. When the breakfast host finally made an appearance, I waited for her to come out of the kitchen and when she didn't, I went to kitchen only to find that she was eating the tater tots with her hands and the sausage patties cooked beyond recognition. I know that help is hard to come by but her attitude to the guests was questionable at best. Also, there was only one luggage cart to be found when we checked in and checked out. We were able to manage but I am sure many of the older guests would not be able to. Finally, to put any fears to rest regarding an earlier review talking about the prison transport vehicle at the hotel, there is a law enforcement academy close by and many of the officers were staying at the hotel making it probably the safest hotel in the region. Would we stay there again? Probably would but would go out for breakfast.”

”I’ve never stayed at such a nice, well kept modern Hampton Inn as this one. Rooms are so nice. Showers & amenities very good. Staff, especially Will & the evening sweet lady made us feel so at home. Wonderful complimentary breakfast with a wide assortment. My favorites were the freshly cooked oatmeal and toppings and the Scones! My husband loves the eggs & roasted red potatoes, as well as the make your own Belgium waffles. Fantastic downtown location beside all the shops. Can’t wait to visit again.”

”This was the first time we stayed at a Home2 Suites and was very pleased. The room lay-out is nice with a curtain that can be pulled to divide bed from rest of room (and lights) if one of you wants to sleep. Has full-size refrigerator and a microwave. Comfortable bed and nice countertop space and desk/chair. Outside is clean and safe and adjacent to a nice complex of office buildings to walk a dog. The breakfast was very good and staff friendly. There was a $50 pet fee but I think that is good for up to 3 nights but we only stayed one. Has many restaurants near-by as well.”

”Update December 2023: With the new hotel name and needing a room quickly, I decided to give it a try again. I will say, that all of the issues seem to be more of a management problem, not an employee problem. First, I was asked to put a $50 hold down on my room, and that it might come back to me in 3 to 5 business days. I've never been asked of this before and it felt very awkward. There are new signs posted in the breakfast area, stating "no food allowed outside of the breakfast area." This wouldn't be a problem except for there are about 20 seats in the breakfast area for the multitude of people trying to eat all at the same time. What are we meant to do if there are no seats? This morning, there was one man running breakfast and the front desk. He was doing a fantastic job, but it's impossible to expect him to be able to do everything. The room was fine. Nothing special. I feel like this hotel has the potential to be great, but the mark just keeps being missed. I won’t stay again. Giving three stars as there was a lot done right, but still a lot wrong. This was my second time staying. The first time I stayed, I loved it. The remodel for the rooms is just beautiful. I stayed Thanksgiving weekend. I know that this is a hectic time but I have to share my frustration. My son had an accident overnight. I went to the front desk to ask them to change my sheets while I was gone. I also apologized for my son, spilling some popcorn and asked if they would vacuum that up because I do not have a vacuum when I travel. I let them know that there was no rush because I would not be back until that night. I got back at 7 PM and my room had not been touched. I called the front office. (this is where I got upset.) the man at the front desk said “there is no housekeeping. We asked them to stay, but they wouldn’t.” While I understand, this is Thanksgiving, and they want to be with family, I feel like this was a very unprofessional answer, but also very poor planning. The front desk worker brought me a wadded up bed sheet. I informed him that I needed a blanket, so he brought me a wadded up blanket. I had to go downstairs to get the vacuum myself and take it back upstairs to clean the mess and then take it back downstairs to the front desk. At this point, I asked the front desk man to just cancel my room for the next day. I asked him how I would receive refund. He said “ we have not finalized the charge. It will only charge your card for the two nights.” At this point the charge was still pending. However, when I checked out the next day, it charged my card the full amount for three days and the man at the front desk said that I would receive a refund in 5 to 7 days. I’m not upset about the time, but I’m upset that I was given two different stories. I used to love this hotel, but after the frustration of this visit, we will not be going back.”

”We stayed here for a weekend getaway. The only good thing about this hotel was the front desk staff and location. The front desk staff was nice. This hotel is only two floors and the elevator is so slow. You would think it has 10 floors. The rooms need to be updated. I didn't want to walk on the floor without shoes. The carpet needs to be replaced. There was no microwave in the room. The bathroom had rust and mildew in the shower like housekeeping just does the bare minimum. There was someone's hair in our shower drain. The sprinkler in the ceiling was about to fall out. We had a baby lizard in the corner of the bathroom. My husband disposed of it. During breakfast they ran out of apple and cranberry juice and did not get anymore the entire weekend was there. They ran out of regular creamers for the coffee and didn't get anymore. The famous cinnamon rolls on the first day were hard as a brick, couldn't eat them. The next day they put out apple danishes instead. We enjoyed the location because it was close to a lot of activities. I would not stay here again.”
