Had to wait until the following Tuesday to speak with someone and lo and behold Pineland Bakery manager said they would refund the chocolate cake. And that the other ones were fine, umm no ma’am! I’ve never seen a grayish sweet potato pie or a pecan pie that needed to scooped in my life. To make matters worse they would do nothing to fix the situation. Definitely won’t be back!! “Our first time here and we love this little country restaurant. Lots of locals do, too. The parking lot was packed and the Saturday wait time for breakfast was 20 minutes. The service was friendly, efficient and fine. Our pancakes were a bit on the heavy side, but breakfasts were tasty and great otherwise. Not a fan of the guest check, which only had the server's scribbled notes with no prices or total until it was taken to the cashier. But will definitely return.”

”My first time experiencing a tea room. Loved the decor and feel of the space. Service was good, server knowledgeable about history of location and menu. We went for brunch/lunch. The tea service was nice and my hot chocolate was decadent. The food however, was not as satisfying and we left most of it on our plates. My creme brulee French toast was VERY sweet and my companion said the shrimp in his shrimp and grits tasted "bagged" but I think because they were Gulf coast shrimp, maybe they were not the shrimp we're used to as low country natives. All things considered, it was such a quaint, cozy place I would definitely go back”

I understand that the food was fresh but it's still a bit too much for a sandwich, salad, and a drink. Can't complain about food quality. No one wants to have to hop on Moreland just to get some eggs (especially if you don't have a vehicle). Their sister market, Grant Park Market, not only has a larger selection of things including bread, dairy, produce, grains, and frozen foods, but the actual quantity of those items is larger for less price... I genuinely can't believe every time I walk in there that a jar of pickles, for example, is ~$8... I understand that a lot of their products are local, and of course I appreciate that, but having seen the exact same products at Grant Park market for sometimes up to half the price for twice as much seems pretty ridiculous. I think a large point of having local markets is making things convenient for people not only with proximity, but also allowing people access to relatively affordable goods. I wish they considered that the way GPM somewhat has.”

You can find an astounding variety of Vodka, Tequila, and Whiskey. Scotch, Irish, Japanese, Canadian, plus Rye and Bourbon all at good prices and a few at a bargain. (Credit card is the same price as cash) Craft beer selection was as underwhelming as the selection of Vermouth, Port, and Sherry and after some searching, I eventually asked for Armagnac, Cachaca, and Calvados. Armagnac was out of stock and they didn't have the others in their system. 4 stars taking the small city into account.”

One of the things that sets Fudo apart is the uniqueness of their sushi rolls. Be forewarned, these are not for everyone. As an example, I had the Wonder Woman 1984 which was the sushi roll with hard Italian cheese sprinkled on top. This is a very unique experience to say the least for anyone who consumes a lot of raw fish products. I enjoy the uniqueness even though some of the roles there may not be the most perfectly balanced. This will certainly be one of my most frequently visited sushi restaurants in atlanta.”

I asked if they were good and he said he personally likes them. Sold me. And he was right, it was good, it has that nutty taste to it but the apple part of it gave it a great balance of sweetness. I would definitely recommend it As always customer service was great, they were all sweet and patient”
